Abstract

The natural disaster such as earthquake, tsunami, volcano eruption, hurricane, flood and landslide may occur to anyone, whenever,and wherever. According to the various sources, in Indonesia 87% are the natural disaster prone regions, or of 440 Urban/Regencyterritories, 383 out of them are natural disaster prone regions. The objective of this paper is to assist the socialization the understandingof the community in Indonesia on natural disaster is very low. The data or information is obtained from the bibliography of varioussources. What should be taken into account are the focus on the preparedness, impact mitigation, emergency response, rehabilitationand recovery as well a reconstruction which can be conducted to minimize the impact, and the affected area will be expectedlyrecoverable as usual, and even improved mentally, economically, infrastructural and in other social life.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan buku panduan tutor sebaya dalam program remedial materi sistem klasifikasi hewan di kelas X. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model Borg & Gall yang dibatasi sampai tahap ketujuh karena adanya keterbatasan waktu, tenaga, dan biaya yang dimiliki peneliti. Tahapan yang dilakukan adalah 1) tahap penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, 2) tahap perencanaan, 3) tahap pengembangan rancangan awal produk, 4) tahap uji coba lapangan permulaan, 5) tahap revisi produk tahap pertama, 6) tahap uji lapangan terbatas, dan 7) tahap revisi produk tahap kedua. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dalam bentuk rating scale untuk menguji kelayakan produk oleh dosen ahli materi, teman sejawat peneliti, dan peserta didik. Masukan dari reviewer digunakan sebagai bahan perbaikan. Buku panduan dikatakan layak apabila mendapatkan modus penilaian minimal baik berdasarkan hasil uji coba lapangan terbatas. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu berupa buku panduan tutor sebaya dalam program remedial materi sistem klasifikasi hewan di kelas X dan kelayakan buku panduan memiliki nilai baik. The research aimed to develop and get the feasibility of peer tutorial guidebook for remedial programme on topic of animal classification in class X. The research method was research and development using Borg & Gall model which was limited to seventh stage due to the limited time, energy, and cost owned by researcher. The stages of model were 1) research and information collection, 2) planning, 3) development of initial product design, 4) initial field test, 5) first product revision, 6) limited field test, and 7) second product revision. The data collection technique used questionnaires in the form of rating scale to test the feasibility of product. It was tested by lecturers of material experts, peer of researchers, and learners. The suggestion from reviewer was used as revision material. The guidebook was judged feasible if it got good rating based on result of limited field test. The research data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The result research was the peer tutorial guidebook for remedial programme on topic of animal classification in class X that had feasibility with good value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan yang diadaptasi dariBorg dan Gall. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran Biologi dengan model Guided Inquiry yang layak untuk meningkatkan creative thinking siswa dan (2) mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran model Guided Inquiry untuk meningkatkan creative thinking siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Bantul tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa observasi, angket, dan tes tertulis. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berupa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran biologi dengan model Guided Inquiry yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan creative thinking siswa dan (2) pembelajaran dengan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran model Guided Inquiry berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan creative thinking siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality which includes compliance, assurance, reliability, tangible, empathy, and responsiveness to the satisfaction level of deposit members. mudaraba in KSPPS BMT Tumang Selo Branch. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a population of mudharabah savings members in KSPPS BMT Tumang Selo Branch, the sample is taken using simple random sampling method. The data analysis is using multiple linear regression models. The results of this study indicate that the adjusted R square determination coefficient is 0.648. This shows that the independent variable is able to influence the dependent variable by 65%, while the remaining 35% is obtained by other variables outside this research. Based on the F test shows that the significance number is 0,000, this states that the independent variables together can affect the dependent variable. The percentage based on variable empathy t test and responsiveness have a significant positive effect on member satisfaction, while the variables of compliance, assurance, reliability and tangible have no significant effect on member satisfaction. Keywords: Service quality, member satisfaction and mudharabah savings.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Telah dilakukan kegiatan Lesson Study (LS) dalam rangka pengembangan kompetensi pendidik bidang biologi di perguruan tinggi untuk agar mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran biologi yang berorientasi pada character building sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Secara spesifik, fokus pencapaian kegiatan LS ini adalah: 1) pengembangan kemampuan dosen biologi dalam mengembangan dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran biologi umum dengan socioscientific issues-based instruction secara kolegial dalam tim LS, dan 2) menumbuhkembangkan karakter peduli dan reflective judgement mahasiswa pendidikan kimia dalam konteks ilmu biologi umum. Prosedur pelaksanaan LS ini mengikuti tahap-tahap plan-do-see, yang dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga putaran. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi: 1) perangkat pembelajaran biologi umum berbasis socioscientific issues, 2) lembar pengamatan aktivitas dosen, 3) lembar pengamatan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa, dan 4) lembar penilaian reflective judgment. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan LS menunjukkan adanya dinamika, tantangan dan hambatan yang dialami baik oleh dosen model maupun subjek mahasiswa.   Kata kunci: lesson study, biologi umum, socioscientific issues, character building

Abstract

The study aims to assess the level of satisfaction for Biology master’s students understudying in online learning mode henceforth learning from home at Yogyakarta State University. A structured questionnaire was employed to view student satisfaction around 7 dimensions namely; resource availability and well-operating tools, instructor support interaction, lesson quality and quality of delivery, assessment mechanism, teaching method, learning environment, and satisfaction. Of 49 students was surveyed and asked to answer questions relating to learning from home experience and the level of their satisfaction. Out of which participants over 80% were females and around 19% males where the major part of them belonged to 21-30 years of age. Data were analyzed using SPSS software and item’s reliability was found higher (over 0.75) that substantiated the reliability of the questionnaire used. Based on calculating the mean and SD, data reveal that students are highly satisfied by the learning from home system. Findings suggest that the implementation of the learning from home program was a very great idea during this dire disease era as the majority of the students supported the initiative. However, the study discovered also that the quality and distribution of internet connectivity, non-updated devices for some students was the main challenge that might be rending online learning more ineffective.
