Abstract

The teacher must be able to present good language ethical learning. It considers that the teacher is not only a source of learning material but also as a role model for students. Therefore, this study was conducted to describe the teacher's writing skills. This study used a descriptive analytic approach using a questionnaire and portfolio documentation. The research sample consisted of 26 teachers in Bandar Lampung. Based on research data, the average value of writing skills was 74.12. Thus, it can be concluded that the language skills of elementary school teachers in Bandar Lampung City are categorized as good.Keywords: Writing skills, teacher. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jiip.v2i1.21792

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to identify effect of using the team quiz learning strategy on problem solving abilities and mathematics learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental type of research experiment. The research design is one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students, totaling 28 people. Data collection techniques using tests and non-tests. The test technique uses multiple choice question and essay, the non-test technique uses an observation sheet. Data analysis used simple linear regression and regression significance test. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was a significant effect of the use of the team quiz learning strategy on the problem-solving abilities and learning outcomes of fourth grade students in mathematics.Keywords: mathematics learning outcomes; problem solving ability; team quiz AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh dari penggunaan strategi pembelajaran team quiz terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar matematika. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian one group pretest-posttes design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Teknik tes menggunakan soal pilihan ganda dan essai, teknik non tes menggunakan lembar observasi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan uji keberartian regresi. Abstract

The problem of the research is the low critical thinking skill of high level students at Elementary School State 1 Fajar Mulia. The research aims to determine the effect of online gaming habits on students’ critical thinking. The research type was a quantitative with an ex-post facto method. The population consisted of 105 students and the samples were 53 of them using a probability technique sampling of proportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection technique used questionnaires and test. The data were analyzed by using a linier regression formula. The results showed that there was an effect of online gaming habits on the critical thinking skill of high level students at Elementary School State 1 Fajar Mulia with the category “low”. It means that the online gaming habits is one of the factors positively affecting on the critical thinking skill of high level students  at Elementary School

Abstract

Abstract The research purpose was to implement of the STEM 4 0 approach in improving student CT. This study used a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest - posttest design. The learning integrated 4 STEM components to improve students’ CT. Participants were elementary school teacher education students at state universities in Lampung Province. The test instrument is at the cognitive level C4 and C6 which refers to Bloom's Taxonomy. Based on research data, it is stated that in learning with the STEM 4.0 approach, there are activities to understand the concept of learning material (Science) by integrating everyday life phenomena (Mathematics) and supported by learning media (Technology). Furthermore, there are learning activities in the form of practice activities in solving a problem in groups and making simple products by applying the concepts contained in the learning materials. Through this treatment, CT participants increased with male CT participants being higher than female. Keywords: computational thinking, STEM approach, pre-service elementary school teacher. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan pendekatan STEM 4.0 dalam meningkatkan CT siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan one group pretest – posttest design. Pembelajaran mengintegrasikan 4 komponen STEM untuk meningkatkan CT siswa. Instrumen tes berada pada level kognitif C4 dan C6 mengacu pada Taksonomi Bloom. Berdasarkan data penelitian disebutkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEM 4.0 terdapat kegiatan memahami konsep materi pembelajaran (IPA) dengan mengintegrasikan fenomena kehidupan sehari-hari (Matematika) dan didukung oleh media pembelajaran (Teknologi). Selanjutnya terdapat kegiatan pembelajaran berupa kegiatan praktik dalam memecahkan suatu masalah secara berkelompok dan membuat produk sederhana dengan menerapkan konsep-konsep yang terdapat dalam materi pembelajaran. Abstract

The ability of students to take part in learning can be seen from their learning outcomes.  Students’ learning outcomes can be influenced by internal and external factors. One of the external factors that affect learning outcomes is parenting and learning discipline. The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between parenting style and learning discipline with the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students. The type of research used was quantitative research with ex-post facto method with correlational design. The population in this study amounted to 171 students, with a total sample of 66 students determined by the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data in this study were collected through documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research data were then analyzed using product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between parenting and learning discipline with learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.641 which was at the "high" level. It can be concluded that parenting style and learning discipline have a close relationship with learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V di MI AL-KHAIRIYA Sinar Banten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan video youtube terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V MI. Metode penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Group Design dengan bentuk yang digunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi berjumlah 120 orang dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu 80 peserta didik kelas VA dan VC, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik sampling non problity sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh dan perbedaan dari model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan video youtube terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kebiasaan belajar dan peran orang tua pada pembelajaran daring dengan hasil belajar tematik peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex-postfacto korelasi. Populasi berjumlah 154 orang peserta didik dan sampel berjumlah 64 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa angket dengan skala Likert, yang sebelumnya diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertama, ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Kebiasaan Belajar dengan Hasil Belajar Tematik Peserta Didik Kelas V SDN Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Kecamatan Metro Barat. Kedua, ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Peran Orang Tua pada Pembelajaran Daring dengan Hasil Belajar Tematik. Ketiga, ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kebiasaan belajar dan peran orang tua pada pembelajaran daring. Keempat, ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kebiasaan belajar dan peran orang tua pada pembelajaran daring secara bersama-sama dengan Hasil Belajar Tematik.
