Abstract

Understanding mathematical concepts are the first key in understanding the material because there is a link between one concept with another concept. The implementation of learning is expected to link mathematical concepts in everyday life. Internal and external factors of students are very influential in mathematics learning, one of them is mathematics anxiety. Mathematics anxiety that is processed by students well can make these students enthusiastic to learn mathematics, but conversely, if students are not able to process mathematics anxiety properly it will negatively affect mathematics learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence mathematics anxiety has on understanding mathematical concepts. This research is a descriptive quantitative research.  The method used in this study is a survey method using questionnaires and questions in collecting data. The results of this study indicate that mathematics anxiety harms understanding mathematical concepts, with low chorea values. It can be interpreted that in this case, the respondent has not been able to process mathematics anxiety into motivation to continue learning to understand mathematical concepts. So anxiety has a significant effect on understanding mathematical concepts. From this research it is hoped that it can be used as a teacher's reference in carrying out mathematics learning, teachers can help reduce student anxiety by using learning models that are fun and effective, and teachers can provide motivation to students who experience mathematics anxiety.

Abstract

The study investigates the impact of using AR in learning 3D geometry on students’ attitude and conceptual understanding. The research was carried out using a quasi-experimental design, in particular by using conceptual understanding test and attitude towards geometry questionnaire, in a public secondary school in Rangkasbitung, Banten, Indonesia. Two groups of students were used for data collection; the experimental (31 students) and the control groups (30 students). The data analyzed by independent sample t-test, using significant level of 0.05. The results of this study were: (1) students’ conceptual understanding in mathematics in AR group was better than control group, (2) students’ conceptual understanding in mathematics for both groups was in medium category, and (3) students’ attitude towards geometry in AR group was better than control group. Therefore, the appropriate method that be used in learning geometry can affect students’ conceptual understanding. Additionally, learning environment also needs to be teachers’ attention, because it can affect students’ attitude and their involvement in learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecemasan statistika terhadap kemampuan literasi statistik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan meliputi seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Informatika di salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Jakarta Timur. Sampel penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa semester 3. Masalah yang diteliti, yaitu pengaruh kecemasan statistika terhadap kemampuan literasi statistik. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan analisis regresi linear. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang bernilai negatif kecemasan statistika terhadap kemampuan literasi statistik.

Abstract

Dari data hasil survei dan wawancara dengan pihak sekolah yang menyataka bahwa hasil Ujian Nasional Sekolah Dasar di Wilayah Depok dan Bogor baru-baru ini, yang dinilai kurang adalah Matematika. Guru-guru matematika masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap matematika. Solusi yang ditawarkan menghadapi masalah tersebut adalah dengan memberikan  sosialisasi kepada guru tentang bagaimana menggunakan metode hitung cepat metode math is fun untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dasar berhitung peserta didik. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah Memberikan pengetahuan tentang metode hitung cepat dalam operasi hitung, sehingga menambah ketrampilan dan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam  pembelajaran matematika. Kemudian Memberikan latihan khusus untuk penggunaan metode hitung cepat math is fun dalam pembelajaran  matematika.  Secara umum dapat dikatakan bahwa kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan sekaligus praktek atau pelatihan khusus dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang akan dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu observasi langsung, wawancara dengan pihak sekolah, presentasi, dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan ilmu yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah guru lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan metode dasar berhitung serta mengoptimalkan kemampuan dasar berhitungnya sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap matematika

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan keterampilan menulis karangan argumentasi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif meliputi seluruh siswa di SMA swasta Depok tersebut. Sampel penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas XII tahun ajaran 2016/2017, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Masalah yang diteliti, yaitu hubungan antara persepsi dengan keterampilan menulis karangan argumentasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan keterampilan menulis karangan argumentasi, dan persepsi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan keterampilan menulis karangan argumentasi. Analisis inferensi yang digunakan adalah analisi regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian yang dihasilkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara persepsi dengan keterampilan menulis karangan argumentasi, hubungan yang positif antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan keterampilan menulis karangan argumentasi, dan hubungan yang positif antara persepsi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan keterampilan menulis karangan argumentasi.Kata kunci: Keterampilan menulis, karangan argumentasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan persepsi diri

Abstract

One of the mathematical abilities that students must have is the ability to count. The prerequisite in learning mathematics is learning to count, both of which are interconnected in supporting mathematical abilities. This study aims to improve students' numeracy skills and efforts to grow students' interest in mathematics. One of the solutions to the problem of mathematical arithmetic abilities is the Trachternberg method. If the rules of the Trachternberg mathematical method have been mastered then the calculations can be simple and fast in solving them. Classroom action research was used in this study, the approach was a quantitative and qualitative approach divided into 3 learning cycles. The research was conducted in November 2019 at SMPIT Ruhama Depok with a sample of 20 students. The results of the application of the Trachternberg method were an increase in students' numeracy skills and interest in mathematics; this was indicated by the percentage of interest of 80.09%, the percentage of completeness of numeracy skills of 75% with an average value of 77.

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to know the influence of the anxiety of learning and students' understanding of mathematical concepts penanalaran mathematical abilities of students. The hypothesis of this study include: 1) There is a significant direct effect on the ability of anxiety learn mathematical reasoning. 2) There is significant direct influence students' understanding of mathematical concepts of mathematical reasoning abilities. 3) There is a significant direct effect of anxiety learn to understanding math concepts students. 4) There is a significant indirect effect on the ability of anxiety learn mathematical reasoning through the understanding of math concepts students. The method used in this research is survey method. Affordable population is class VIII students of academic year 2014/2015 a private SMP in Depok. A large sample of 80 students, with a sampling technique used was multistage sampling, taken four private schools. Research instrument used is questionnaire anxiety to learn as much as 25 statement, test understanding of mathematical concepts as much as 23 multiple choice questions, tests of mathematical reasoning ability in the form of an essay as much as 10 questions, which te; ah tested its validity. Analysis of data using path analysis. Hypothesis testing results show that: 1) There is a direct effect not significant anxiety study on the ability of mathematical reasoning, 2) There is a direct effect of significant understanding of the mathematical concept of the ability of mathematical reasoning, 3) There is a direct effect not significant anxiety learn to understanding of mathematical concepts , 4) There is the indirect effect which is not significant anxiety on the ability to learn mathematical reasoning. Keywords: anxiety of learning , mathematical concepts , mathematical reasoning

Abstract

PT MDSI (Mega Daya Survei Indonesia) bergerak dibidang pekerjaan sipil dan kontruksi untuk sektor industri dan infrastruktur. Sistem penggajian dan absensi yang diterapkan kepada karyawan pada PT MDSI masih dilakukan secara manual di buku besar sehingga memperlambat proses pencarian data karyawan, data absen, data bagian dan data gaji. Untuk merubah keadaan tersebut maka perlu adanya suatu aplikasi yang mendukung mempercepat dan mempermudah proses laporan penggajian dan absensi menggunakan Java Neatbeans. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam menyelesaikan penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini membantu meningkatkan sistem penggajian dan absensi pada PT MDSI dan hasilnya kinerja penggajian dan absensi lebih akurat dan cepat.
