Abstract

Keselamatan kerja telah menjadi perhatian di antara pemerintah dan bisnis sejak lama. Faktor keselamatan kerja menjadi penting karena terkait erat dengan kinerja karyawan dan pada gilirannya pada kinerja perusahaan. Semakin banyak fasilitas keselamatan kerja, semakin sedikit kemungkinan kecelakaan kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan program keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja di kapal sebagai bagian dari manajemen. Program keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, antara lain; penyuluhan, pelatihan, pemeriksaan kesehatan dan alat pelindung diri (APD). Metode penelitian yang digunakan didasarkan pada meta-analisis artikel konseling dan pelatihan yang dilakukan untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang K3. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dicapai dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Peningkatan peng getahuan dan ketrampilan menjadi tujuan utama dalam program pelatihan dan penyuluhan. Pada umunya pada industri perlayaran APD sudah tercukupi dikarena mereka berusaha memenuhi aturan yang sangat ketat

Abstract

Shipping safety is very important and occupies a central position in all aspects of the shipping world. Aspects inherent in shipping safety include the characteristics of attitudes, values, and activities regarding the importance of fulfilling safety and security requirements concerning transportation in waters Ship and shipping safety indicators are two sides that are not separated, the ship must have safety equipment including lifeboats, life jackets, fire extinguishers, documents and certificates, the ship's screen-worthy condition. The health of the crew, all must be properly prepared and ascertained the existence and circumstances so that the cruise will be safe and secure.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health is an activity to create a work environment that is safe, comfortable and how to increase the health care workforce and good physical, spiritual and social. Occupational health and safety is specifically intended to prevent or reduce accidents and as a result, and to secure the vessel, equipment, and products of the catch. Survey with cross sectional approach by taking a sample of 30 fishermen, a tool used questionnaires and interviewsBased on the research shows that the level of knowledge about occupational health and safety is obtained as large berpengatahuan less that 23 people or 76.7%, and that knowledge is quite 6 people or 20% were good only 1 of 3.3%, was obtained as a big nutritional status never experienced itching disease that is 18 or 60% and who had cataract diseased 10 or 33.6% were ever have hypertension / diabetes 2 is 6.7%., nutritional status is obtained as large itchy disease never experienced that 18 people or 60% and who had cataract diseased 10 or 33.6% were ever have hypertension / diabetes 2 is 6.7%.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study are to analyze the ability of vocational high school students to classify abiotic symptoms (physical properties) and biotic symptoms and their relation to the maritime field. The method in this research is a combination of survey and literature study. In this study the authors took location at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap. The instrument used was using worksheets / student activities / abiotic symptoms and applied physics biotics. The analysis used is Descriptive Statistics Frequencies. Comparison of standard deviations. The comparison results show that the standard empirical deviation (s = 7,649) is higher than the hypothetical standard deviation (σ = 5). This shows that the ability of students in classifying abiotic symptoms (physical properties) and biotic symptoms related to maritime fields has high variation. In other words, the ability of subjects to one another is not uniform or have differences. Based on the analysis and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that the ability of students in classifying abiotic symptoms (physical properties) and biotic symptoms related to the maritime field has high variations. This means that vocational students generally have different abilities in classifying abiotic symptoms (physical properties) and biotic symptoms related to the maritime field.

Abstract

Sandblasting is one of the easiest methods to remove rust or dirt such as oil, paint, etc. on the surface or to change the surface character of the material, either to make it coarser or make a surface smoother, generally applied to metal-based surfaces. Sandblasting is done by spraying abrasive material, usually in the form of silica sand or steel grit with relatively high pressure on a surface. The purpose and research is to explain the sanblasting method on MV vessels. Beautiful diamonds. The method used in this study is a descriptive method that explains the phenomena that occur. ship cleaning methods carried out in the framework of ship maintenance. Sandblasting is very much related to the process of painting a ship. almost every work on sandblasting will continue with ship painting.

Abstract

Sanitation is an effort aimed at environmental risk factors on a ship to break the chain of disease transmission to maintain and enhance health status. Vessel sanitation covers all aspects of ship compartment assessment including kitchens, food supply halls, hatches, warehouses, ship crew rooms, water supply, and food presentation and vector control of infectious diseases or rodents. The purpose of this study is to describe the sanitation of ships. This study uses a meta-analysis method with content analysis, which examines several articles on ship sanitation. From the results of the meta-analysis that most of the ships have carried out sanitation and cleanliness of the ship correctly, but there are still some who have not properly implemented sanitation. Boat sanitation is a condition, which has been mandated by WHO and government regulations.

Abstract

Ship propellers are very important because in general ships moving in the medium of water with a certain speed, it will experience a drag (resistance) that isopposite to the direction of motion of the ship. The amount of drag that occurs must be able to be overcome by the thrust of the ship (thrust) resulting from thework of the ship's propulsion. Other causes of bale blast wear: Breaking of propeller shaft seal, Propeller shaft lubricating oil circulation is not smooth,Unbalanced propeller shaft, so to prevent damage is needed periodic maintenance and repair so that the propeller shaft can work optimally.

Abstract

The objective to be achieved in this paper is to analyze whether or not the effect of rainfall on fluctuation of fish production at sea in Cilacap waters. The method in this study is a combination of survey and literature review. In this study the authors take the location in the waters of Cilacap. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Cilacap Regency. The data sample used is statistical data in the period of 4 years, starting from 2013 until 2016. The results show that rainfall is not comparable with the production of captured marine fishery. This occurs over four periods, from 2013 to 2016. The production of marine capture fisheries is not significantly affected by rainfall, possibly influenced by some of the more significant factors related to weather and climate in the area. The conclusion of this research is that rainfall does not significantly influence fluctuation of sea fish production.

Abstract

The potential difference in sea temperature between the surface and subsurface beneath the thermocline that can be converted into electrical energy has been investigated using ocean temperature data OTEC power plant is very suitable as a provider of electric power for the archipelago. The archipelagic country does have many obstacles in terms of energy distribution. The long distance between islands adds to the burden of energy transportation financing. OTEC power plant design is very concerned about various important things, one of the most important thing is the design of a kettle or boiler.The heat difference so small makes the kettle must be designed strictly and correctly. the purpose of this study is to compare the working fluid used in the OTEC plant. based on various literature studies show there are some working fluid that can be used in OTEC generating system such as ammonia, hydrogen, propane, R77. The most advantageous working fluid is if we use mixed fluid because of its high efficiency so that it can produce high electrical power as well.

Republic Indonesia is an archipelago country of 17.000 islands surrounded by the 70% seas. So fair hence if most of coastal area have living as fisherman.
