Abstract

Introduction: One of the causes of acute kidney injury that is increasingly soaring is preeclampsia syndrome. Globally, the maternal mortality rate reaches 287,000 per year, and preeclampsia is a major contributor. From East Java Provincial Health Office data, per 100,000 pregnancies, 114 had preeclampsia syndrome. Anemia is one of the highest causes of maternal death, the global prevalence of anemia in pregnant women reaches 55.9%. There have not been many significant studies on the effect of anemia with the incidence of preeclampsia. Methods: This was observational analytic study with a case and control design which used a chi-square and fisher exact measurement tool. The data samples were patients of pregnant women who had preeclampsia syndrome categorized as cases, and those who did not have preeclampsia were categorized as controls. The data has been obtained from medical records; these include ages, the number of parities, the number of pregnancies, body mass index (BMI), the number of childbirths, types of preeclampsia, and hemoglobin levels. The data has been obtained from the result of the medical record observations that were processed and analyzed in descriptive of statistics which used percentage and cross tab. Results: The case study group or preeclampsia pregnant women who experienced anemia were 34 patients or 50% of 68 pregnant women and in the control group were 53 patients or 39% of anemia patients out of 136 patients. The chi-square statistical test obtained values (p = 0.133). The samples needed were 68 case groups and 136  cases as controls. Conclusion: There was no relationship between anemia and preeclampsia.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the IGF-1 levels decrease in mice modeled by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Insulin Resistance post carbohydrate high in protein. True Experimental Design with a Posttest Control Group Design research using 36 tails, female Wistar Rattus Norvegicus Strains, 3 months, 100-200 grams and randomly divided into 3 groups, namely K-(n =12, negative control group), K+(n=12, positive control group) and KP(n=12, treatment group). SOPK-IR modeling is done by mice in the injection of the hormone testosterone provionate at a dose of 100 mg/kg BW for 28 days, on the last day after injection a vaginal swab is performed to identify the condition of diestrus. The measurement of IGF-1 levels used the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay method. Data analysis techniques used ANOVA test and LSD post hoc test. The results obtained mean levels of IGF-1 at K- (234.126±32.568) ng/mL, K+ (169.662±30.150) ng/mL, KP (146.528±29.562) ng/mL (p=0.000)

Abstract

Incidence of preeclampsia cases is about 5-8% of all pregnancies. This research aims to analyze articles related the application of nursing model in pregnant with preeclampsia. The design of the research used is the literature review, articles collected using search engines such as EBSCO, Sciencedirect, Proquest and Elsevier. The article used was published in 2010-2019. Based on the article collected obtained the results that diagnose preeclampsia while pregnant can cause anxiety and fear increases during pregnancy. Because of this condition, individuals have increased blood pressure so as to develop a pathological nature. The role of nurses in providing therapy according to this model is to focus on human beings as a biopsicosocial creature as a unified and interconnected whole. Further studies are advised consider the effects on various variables by taking into account the random effects and changes in the model with the addition of contextual effects in the analysis.

Abstract

Background: The high maternal mortality of 2015 is a big problem in Indonesia, which is 305 per 100,000 live births (Indonesian Population Profile Supas Result, 2015). The maternal mortality of 2010-2012 is due to an increase in preeclampsia, eclampsia and other factors, such as social problems, cultures, less education, to economic issues. Methods: The design of the research used is the study of libraries, articles gathered using search engines such as EBSCO, ScienceDirect, ProQuest and Elsevier. The article used in the study was published in 2010-2019. Result: Based on the article collected results that there are several factors related to the preeclampsia in pregnancy and the intervention phase should be done early. These factors are the age of mothers during pregnancy, praitas, double pregnancy, the history of hypertension in the family, preeclampsia history during previous pregnancies and obesity. The cause of the mother's death is actually preventable with an adequate ANC pregnancy test and early detection of the risk of pregnant women. Conclusion: The introduction of a complementary obstetrician is given to mothers at risk of preeclampsia during pregnancy. Further studies are advised to consider the effects on various variables by considering the random effects and changes in the model with the addition of contextual effects in the analysis.
