Abstract

This study aims to see the correlation between PUEBI mastery and biographical text writing skills by high school students. The research method used is correlation and is classified as quantitative research. The results showed that the average PUEBI mastery of students was 88.79 with very good qualifications, and the average student biographical text writing skills were 82.79 with good qualifications (t count greater than t table, namely 17.35 > 2.042). In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between PUEBI mastery and biographical text writing skills. Keywords: PUEBI, Biographical Text

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of using the Inside Outside Circle Model (Small Circle-Large Circle) on Students' Poetry Writing Skills. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The population in this study amounted to 257 students and a sample of 55 students which was divided into two classes, the experimental class and the control class. The sampling method is using purposive sampling. The instrument in this study used a performance test with aspects of theme, diction, imagery and figurative language assessment. Data analysis shows that the Inside Outside Circle (small circle-big circle) model has an effect on learning to write poetry in Indonesian language subjects in the experimental class. This is evidenced by an increase in student scores, which at the time of the pre-test the mean (X ) was 72.56. After applying the Inside Outside Circle learning model (small circle-big circle) in the learning process at the post-test time, the average value (X ) was 87.4. This can be seen  from the results of the comparison of tcount with ttable (4.73 > 2.021), because tcount is greater than ttable then Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of the experimental class students who were taught by the Inside Outside Circle learning model (small circle-big circle) were better than the learning outcomes of the control class students who were taught using conventional methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pertama, mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis puisi menggunakan metode konvensional siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Lareh Sago Halaban, kedua, mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis puisi menggunakan metode pembelajaran sugestopedia berbasis kanal youtube wonderland Indonesia siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Lareh Sago Halaban, ketiga, mendeskripsikan pengaruh metode pembelajaran sugestopedia berbasis kanal youtube wonderland Indonesia terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Lareh Sago Halaban. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 238 siswa dan sampel berjumlah 52 siswa yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas, kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Cara penarikan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes unjuk kerja. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa, metode sugestopedia berpengaruh dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas eksperimen. analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji t (t-test) dalam kelas eksperimen membuktikan thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (7,226>2,060), karena thitung lebih besar dari ttabel maka H1 (hipotesis alternatif) diterima. Selanjutnya hasil uji t (t-test) dalam kelas kontrol membuktikan thitung lebih besar dari ttable (3,040>2,060), karena thitung lebih besar dari ????????????????????�档 maka H1 (hipotesis alternatif) diterima. Hasil uji t (t-test) merupakan hasil perbandingan thitung dengan ttabel (3,303>2,021), karena thitung lebih besar dari ttabel maka H1 (hipotesis alternatif) diterima. Simpulan, keterampilan menulis puisi berpengaruh kuat dengan menggunakan metode sugestopedia berbasis kanal youtube wonderland Indonesia dibandingkan dengan keterampilan menulis puisi menggunakan metode konvensional.Kata Kunci : Metode Sugestopedia, Kanal Youtube Wonderland Indonesia, Menulis Puisi.
