Food is everything that grows, lives, has stem, roots, and leaves are eaten directly or need to be processed. The purpose of this research is to record the diversity of food crops (types of edible plant based food, number of species, parts used, processing. This research was conducted from January to November 2018. The research in 13 villages in Simpang Teritip District, West Bangka Regency. Locations include Pelangas Village, Simpang Gong, Air Nyatoh, Pangek, Peradong, Kundi, Air Menduyung, Rambat, Simpang Tiga, Terak Hill, Ibul, Berang, and Mayang. This research aims to do interview and direct observation with the key informant using purposive sampling method. The result of this research found that there are 79 species from 34 families of edible plant-based food in Jerieng etnic. Solanaceae is the most numerous family found including 9 species. The most often used plant part is fruit (39%), meanwhile the less often used plant part is bud (1%). Edible plant based food by Jerieng etnic is divided into two groups, those are processed food and unprocessed food. Example of unprocessed food is local salad (known as “lalapan”) and the processed food such as lempah darat and lempah kuning.

Abstract

The existence and diversity Odonata in an area could reflect the quality of a habitat's environment such as pH, temperature, light intensity, conditions of chemical and availability of water and foods. The purpose of this study was to record the composition Odonata in Regency of Southern Bangka. This research was conducted in two habitats namely natural in the form of rivers and artificial in the form of tin mining lakes in Regency of Southern Bangka. The method used was the transect line with a transect length of 100 m. Odonata was captured using an insect net then the number of species is recorded. Abiotic factors measured include temperature, light intensity and pH of water. Result showed that 1,166 individuals Odonata that were found at the study site consisted of 18 species which belong to four family and two suborder. Both the species number and individual found anound the river was greater then the tin mining lake. The highest number of species found in the river was 17 and the lowest found tin mining lake was 10. The highest number of individuals found in the river was 694 and the lowest found tin mining lake was 472. The highest diversity indices was at Sebagin river (2.20) and the highest evenness indices was at Nyelanding tin mining lake (0.9639).

This study aims to record, reveal, document community knowledge about plant species and how to use them as food packaging material by the people of Central Bangka Regency and to find out the conservation status or level of threat of species. The research method was conducted by interviewing the criteria of key informants, field observations, anatomical observations and cluster analysis with pastpogram software and in determining the location using purposive sampling. The results of the study obtained 10 types of plants whose leaves are used as food and food wrappers consisting of 7 families. The most widely used families are Arecaceae, Pandanaceae and Poaceae. The highest number of plant species based on habitat is 9(43%). The highest number of plant species based on habitus is herbs 5(50%). Abstract

Litopenaeus vannamei is one of the most common shrimp species cultivated with the semi-intensive system in Indonesia. This system required large food and probiotic input during cultivation and certainly will impact the water quality and the presence of the microbial colony. The unhealthy water circulation will increase microbe pathogen. Fungi is one of ubiquitous microbe that often appears in shrimp pond. The aim of this study is to identify and calculate the biology index from shrimp cultivation ponds. This research was implemented in March 2019 – April 2020. The method of this research is purposive sampling to get the fungi culture from inlet, outlet and rejuvenate shrimp ponds. The identification of fungi was done with macroscopic and microscopic examination. The result found 9 isolates fungi comprised of 8 species. There were 4 fungi identified from the inlet shrimp pond, Aspergillus sp 1, Aspergillus sp 4, Penicillium sp, and Trichoderma sp 2, while from outlet pond were Aspergillus sp 1, Trichoderma sp 1 and from rejuvenating shrimp ponds were Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Trichoderma sp 1 and Penicillium sp. There were no fungi found from L. vannamei, because all of the L. vannamei shrimp in healthful condition.

Abstract

Abstract

The responsibility of students is not limited to the academic field of the campus, but also has a responsibility in nation building efforts. Students are required to play an active role in efforts to build the nation through the application of their knowledge in society. The application of this knowledge is expected to be able to bring changes in society towards a better direction. Community development is a form of student service that is in accordance with the Tri Bakti Darma of higher education. The form of student service in building society is in the form of applying their knowledge in the form of work and service.Real Work Lecture (KKN) is one form of student service in the community by applying the knowledge gained on campus to the community. Students are required to use science to solve problems that exist in the community. For students, it is hoped that after KKN, students will gain life skills and soft skills that are useful in the world of work later. The Universitas Bangka Belitung is one of the state universities that carries out Real Work Lectures (KKN) with the theme of organizing Bangka Belitung based on local wisdom. The implementation of this KKN must be carried out professionally and scientifically without having to change the local wisdom that exists in the community. KKN implemented by the Universitas Bangka Belitung is divided into three, namely KKN Kebangsaan, KKN PPM (Community Learning Empowerment) and Thematic KKN. After this KKN, Universitas Bangka Belitung students are expected to be able to build a community that goes hand in hand with the local wisdom that exists in the community. The Community Service Program (KKN) carried out in Dalil Village is Thematic KKN. The title of this Thematic KKN is Mapping Tourism Potential and Dalil Community Development Based on Forest Functions, Local Wisdom and Village Government Governance. Dalil Village has an area of about 66.35 km2. Dalil Village has two places with tourism potential, namely Rimba' Mambang Forest and Bukit Maras Waterfall. The main priority of the implementation of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) in Dalil Village is to pioneer the Rimbe' Mambang Forest as a tourist forest and Bukit Maras Waterfall as a tourist attraction. In addition, it also promotes these attractions to the general public.
