Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the relationship between principal leadership and teacher job satisfaction in recent years. This research uses a systematic review and meta-analysis using JASP 0.14.1.0 software. The search for relevant articles through the Garuda, Eric, and Google Scholar databases with the keywords transformational leadership of school principals and job satisfaction was carried out by the research team. Based on the search results, Garuda found eight articles, Eric found 708 articles, and Google Scholar found 2,820 articles. Furthermore, based on the criteria: leadership, principal leadership, transformational leadership, and teacher job satisfaction, ten articles were selected. The data taken from the selected articles is the number of samples and the r-value in each article. After that, the effect size is calculated. A significant correlation between principals' transformational leadership and teacher job satisfaction was found based on the results of the meta-analysis. The effect size value resulting from the relationship between the two variables is categorized as moderate at the 95 percent confidence level. The effect size value is 0.50, in the interval 0.39 to 0.61. Research analysis in this study has stated the consistency of research and has strengthened existing theories. The results of the study recommend that further research be conducted on madrasah principals and madrasah teachers.

Abstract

AbstractDue to the Covid-19 pandemic, the government implemented a large-scale social restriction policy that impacted online learning. There are obstacles where not all students have supporting learning facilities and have learning difficulties requiring teacher intervention in the learning process. The study aimed to determine teacher intervention in the learning process for students with learning difficulties. The research method used descriptive qualitative at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Elementary School) Ats-Tsauroh Serang City, Banten Province. Data collection was limited to interviews with eight informants, including teachers, madrasa heads, and deputy madrasa heads, during the social restrictions period in February-April 2021. The results showed that teacher intervention in overcoming student learning difficulties was carried out directly, namely by understanding student conditions, understanding the typology of student learning difficulties, communicating with students' parents, observing students' family environmental conditions, conducting study visits to students' homes, and assessing student motivation. Teacher creativity is essential in making decisions for the benefit of student learning so that teachers provide the best service under challenging conditions. The implication of this research is that teacher intervention is effective in overcoming students' learning difficulties in the Covid-19 social restrictions.Keywords: teacher intervention, learning difficulty, home visits. AbstrakAkibat pandemi Covid-19, pemerintah menerapkan kebijakan pembatasan sosial berskala besar yang berdampak pada pembelajaran daring. Terdapat kendala di mana tidak semua siswa memiliki fasilitas belajar yang mendukung dan mengalami kesulitan belajar yang memerlukan campur tangan guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui intervensi guru dalam proses pembelajaran bagi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ats-Tsauroh Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten. Pengumpulan data terbatas pada wawancara dengan delapan informan, termasuk guru, kepala madrasah, dan wakil kepala madrasah selama masa pembatasan sosial pada Februari-April 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa dilakukan secara langsung, yakni dengan memahami kondisi siswa, memahami tipologi kesulitan belajar siswa, berkomunikasi dengan orang tua siswa, mengamati kondisi lingkungan keluarga siswa, melakukan kunjungan belajar ke rumah siswa, dan menilai motivasi siswa. Kreativitas guru sangat penting dalam mengambil keputusan untuk kepentingan belajar siswa sehingga guru memberikan pelayanan terbaik dalam kondisi yang penuh tantangan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah intervensi yang dilakukan guru efektif dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa di masa pembatasan sosial Covid-19.Kata kunci: intervensi guru, kesulitan belajar, kunjungan rumah.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has made efforts to implement a number of excellent programs to improve the quality of education. However, the variety of challenges faced by schools affects the lack of optimal competition in the quality of education. The purpose of this article is to analyze and describe the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM) as an effort to improve the quality of education. This article uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The TQM concept is one of the concepts that can be applied to improve the quality of education. In applying the TQM concept to education, it is necessary to pay attention to several aspects, namely: (1) focus on graduate users, (2) obsession with quality, (3) scientific approach, (4) teamwork, (5) having a long-term commitment and sustainable, (6) continuous improvement efforts, (7) conducting education and training, (8) common perceptions and goals, (9) having a free and controlled organizational culture, and (10) engaging and empowering human resources. All aspects of TQM must be oriented to the education management system, and the behavior of school members, and focus on optimal service in order to meet the needs and desires of the stakeholders.

Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa merupakan alat tolak ukur untuk mengetahui berhasil atau tidaknya sebuah proses pembelajaran ysng dilakukan oleh seorang guru. Hasil belajar yang dimiliki oleh siswa sangatlah beragam, hal ini dapat terjadi karena dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal. Salah satu faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi adalah faktor dari guru. Guru dianggap orang yang paling menentukan dalam proses pembelajaran, hal ini karena guru merupakan orang yang bersentuhan dan bertatap langsung terhadap siswa di dalam kelas pada proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, guru dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang baik, diantaranya adalah kompetensi professional. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru PAI di era digital dan penggunaan sarana dan prasarana terhadap hasil belajar PAI siswa SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah saluruh siswa SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang, adapaun Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 84 peserta didik kelas Kelas XI IPA 4 dan XI IPA 6 SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dimana variable dependen pada penelitian ini yaitu hasil belajar PAI (Y) dan variabel independen yaitu kompetensi professional guru di era digital (X1) dan sarana dan prasarana (X2) diperoleh persamaan regresi . Hasil penelitian ini diantaranya: (1) Kompetensi profesional guru PAI di era digital berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar PAI dengan nilai thitung (4.062) lebih besar dari nilai ttabel (1,678). (2) Sarana prasarana berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar PAI dengan nilai thitung variabel sarana prasarana terhadap hasil belajar PAI (2.129) lebih besar dari nilai ttabel (1,678). dan (3) secara simultan variabel kompetensi professional guru PAI di era digital dan sarana prasarana berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang dengan nilai Fhitung (139,190) lebih besar dari Ftabel (2,84).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Ummi method program in learning to read the Qur'an by SDIT Widya Cendekia students and the results obtained from the Ummi method. In carrying out this study the authors used qualitative research this study uses data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data is obtained, the data is processed with several techniques, namely editing and data interpretation. Furthermore, all data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Ummi method program has good results so that it has a good effect on students at Sdit Widya Cendekia.
