Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the positive and the significant effect of giving homework method to students' achievements of geography at the second grade of SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung academic year 2013/2014. The method that the researcher used was Quasy Eksperiment Design. The population of this research was 139 students. The sample that had been taken was 70 students using Purposive Sampling Technique. The analysis result of this research showed that there is positive effect of giving homework method to students' achievements. It can be seen in Fo value which was about 21.607 F value table was about 4,139. Furthermore, it was significantly influenced because in t point was higher than t table which t point was 4,470 t table 2,034.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan metode pemberian tugas rumah terhadap hasil belajar Geografi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Eksperimen Design. Populasi berjumlah 139 siswa dengan sampel 70 siswa menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang positif metode pemberian tugas rumah terhadap hasil belajar siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai Fo hitung sebesar 21.607 nilai F tabel sebesar 4,139. Kemudian berpengaruh secara signifikan dilihat dari t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu t hitung 4,470 t tabel 2,034.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, metode pemberian tugas rumah, pembelajaran geografi.
