Abstract

The area of the slum area in Tungkal Ilir District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency is 225.4 ha. The condition of buildings, environmental roads, environmental drainage, clean water, sanitation, solid waste and fire protection, are indicators of slum levels. In accordance with these indicators, the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) carry out programs in efforts to deal with slums. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of slum settlement management programs on the sustainability of slum area handling programs. The sampling method used is purposive sampling with 100 community respondents in slum locations and Stratified sampling with 30 ASN respondents, this study uses questionnaires and interviews with related parties in data retrieval. Analysis test uses SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method and data processing using SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) software. The results showed the t-statistic for the Integration Program variable towards the Sustainable Cities variable was 2.185> t-statistic (1.96). The original sample estimate value shows a positive value (0.199). which shows that the relationship pattern of the integration of the program handling slum areas with the sustainability of the program is positive, with a moderate level. The results show that the integration of the program indirectly affects sustainable cities through community participation and slum areas that have not been implemented optimally and tend to be in the middle so that programs and activities that are integrated and synergized by the Regional Government in implementing sustainable cities still need to be implemented. Abstract

Soybean is one of important food sources in Indonesia. Because of demand for soybean that have not been met, so the production and productivity of soybeans still need to be enchanced. The purpose of this research was to analyze factors that affect soybean production and evaluate efficiency of aplication inputs in soybean farming in Berbak District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency. Analysis of effect of the use of production factors on production on soybean farming is done using the Cobb-Douglas function approach, using a multiple logarithmic analysis model for estimating equations. Whereas to find out the optimization of use of inputs is used the maximum profit approach. The results of the analysis of the production function obtained that the factors that significantly influence soybean production are land, seeds, Urea fertilizer, TSP, KCl, insecticides, while the use of NPK fertilizer inputs, herbicides, fungicides and labor has no effect on soybean production. Based on the results of evaluation of input use in soybean farming in Berbak Subdistrict, it can be seen that the use of land inputs, seeds, urea, TSP is not efficient, while the use of KCL fertilizer and insecticide inputs is inefficient.

Abstract

CPO is the world main vegetable oil that has the highest production and consumption levels compared to other major vegetable oils. The high level of world consumption of CPO is because in addition to higher production, CPO also has the lowest price compared to other major vegetable oils. Indonesia as the largest CPO exporter in the world makes a major contribution to meeting the world's vegetable oil needs. Indonesia exports CPO to six major importing countries, namely India, the Netherlands, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain and Italy. However, Indonesia's CPO export activities fluctuated to six major importing countries. Indonesia's CPO has the potential to be developed, but also has obstacles in the form of non-tariff barriers in the form of a CPO black campaign from the European Union. The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of Indonesian CPO exports in the six main importing countries, and analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian CPO and countries that are optimistic and potential for the development of Indonesian CPO exports in the six main importing countries. This study uses time series data from 1991 - 2020. The methods used are RCA, EPD, X-Model. The results of the study during the period 1991 - 2020 showed that the average development of Indonesian CPO exports fluctuated and tended to increase in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain and Italy, and fluctuated tended to decrease in the Netherlands. Indonesian CPO has strong competitiveness in the six main importing countries, is in a rising star position in the India, Malaysia, Spain and Italy markets, is in a falling star position in the Singapore market and is in a retreat position in the Dutch market. CPO exports have an optimistic market development potential in the Indian, Malaysian, Spanish, Italian markets and a potential market development potential in the Singapore market.
