Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between students' perceptions of geography teacher's pedagogical competencies and the geography learning achievement of tenth grade of social science grade students at  SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung academic year 2017/2018. The method used is the correlation method with a sample of 30 students. The method of the data was done by using questionnaire techniques, interviews and documentation. It was analyzed by frequency table and inferential statistical analysis method product Pearson correlation method. The results obtained include: (1) a total of 29 respondents (96.67%) stated that the geography teacher's pedagogical competence was in the medium category. (2) Geography learning achievement as many as 22 students (73.33%) included in the Completed category and 8 (26.67%) did not complete. (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between the geography teacher's pedagogical competence and the student's geography learning achievement.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi pedagogik guru geografi dengan prestasi belajar geografi siswa kelas X IPS SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasi dengan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dengan teknik kuisioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dianalisis dengan tabel frekuensi presentase dan metode analisis statistik inferensial korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil yang diperoleh antara lain : (1) Sebanyak 29 responden (96,67%) menyatakan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru geografi termasuk dalam kategori sedang. (2) Prestasi belajar geografi sebanyak 22 siswa (73,33%) termasuk dalam kategori Tuntas dan 8 (26,67%) siswa yang Tidak Tuntas. (3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru geografi dengan prestasi belajar geografi siswa.Kata kunci : kompetensi pedagogik, persepsi siswa, prestasi belajar
