Abstract

This research is aims to analyze the effect of Economic Growth and the number of poducers toward revenue of retribution in seven regencies in West Sumatra. Method that being used is Panel Least Square and is used Random Effect Model (REM). Data used is panel data from 2012-2016 from Badan Pusat Statistik, Badan Kuangan Sumatra Barat, and DJPK Indonesia. The estimation results show that Economic growth has a positive and significant effect on retribution and Sellers has a positive and significant effect on retribution. This result shows that economic growth and sellers has partial effect to revenue of retribution. This study is to give information about govenrment income specially retribution and government could increase service facility of market to achieved revenue target from retribution.

Abstract

This research to analyze the causality relationship between Human Development Index, Economic Growth, dan Tourism in Indonesia. The data use are panel from 33 provinces in Indonesia during the period 2011-2016. Data analysis tools use are Panel Vector Autoregression (PVAR) and Granger Causality Panel. The result of this study show that (1) There is a direct causal relationship where Economic Growth effects the Human Development Index, (2) There is a direct causal relationship where Human Development Index influences Tourism, (3) There is no causality between Economic Growth affecting Tourism. Suggested to the giverment should pay more attention to Human Captial in Indonesia, because with better human capital can inrease human development, per capita income can even manage Tourim Indonesia better.

Abstract

This study aim to analyze the interrelationship between infrastructure, Foreign Direct Investment and employment in Indonesia, The data used in this study  are secondary data from 2013 to 2018 in 32 provinces in Indonesia using panel data on the VAR method. The result show that there is no interrelationship between infrastructure and FDI in Indonesia, there is a interrelationship between employment opportunities and infrastructure in Indonesia and there is no interrelationship between FDI and employment opportunities in Indonesia

Abstract

Groups of fishermen in Padang that fall into the category of lower middle fishermen is a group of owners of fishing vessels with an average income per day is Rp. 579 667, and has a economic resilience of fishermen 225. Groups of fishermen fall into the category of economically active poor fishermen is a group of traditional fishermen with average income per day is Rp. 159 625, and has a economic resilience 102. While a group of fishermen fishing in the category of extremely poor are a group of traditional fishermen who have an average daily income of Rp. 66 221, and has economic resilience 66. So a very vulnerable group can not survive in the condition that caused them not to go to sea is a group of traditional fishermen who are included in the category of economically active poor and extremely poor. Groups of fishermen in Pariaman, which fall into the category of high-income groups (lower middle) is a group of traditional fishermen with average income per day is Rp. 1,128. 298. And fishermen have economic resilience of 304. Groups of fishermen who fall into the category of Economically Active Poor's are a group of traditional fishermen with an average amount of income of Rp. 385 500. and have the economic resilience of fishermen was 286. While the group included fishermen fishing in the extremely poor are a group of fishermen with a large crew average income per day is Rp. 112 032 and has economic resilience 116. So a very vulnerable group can not survive in the condition that caused them not to go to sea is a group of fishermen crew are included in the category of extremely poor. Groups of fishermen in the Pesisir Selatan,  which fall into the category of high-income groups (lower middle) is a group of fishermen crew with average income per day is Rp. 684 600. and have the economic resilience of fishermen 364. Group of fishermen who are included in the category of economically active poor is traditional fishermen with average income per day is Rp. 142.384, and have economic resilience by 111. As for the fishing group strata including low-income category (extremely poor) are a group of fishermen crew with an average income a day is Rp. 56 308 and have the economic resilience of fishermen 69. So a very vulnerable group can not survive in condition that caused them not to go to sea is a group of fishermen crew and fishermen traditionally included in the category of economically active poor and extremely poor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in life expectancy, the average, the difference in GDP per capita, and differences in poverty rates between developed regions rich natural resources and developed regions poor in natural resources. This study uses Typology Klassen in sampling, The results showed that there are significant differences in life expectancy in developed regions are rich in natural resources and advanced regions poor in natural resources. There are significant differences in the average length of school in the forward region rich in natural resources and advanced regions poor in natural resources. There are significant differences in GDP per capita between developed regions rich natural resources and developed regions poor in natural resources. Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze the causality between oil world price, government expenditure and government revenue in Indonesia, which is analyzed using Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method. The result of this study indicate oil world price and government expenditure have a causality in Indonesia, oil world price do not have a causality government revenue in Indonesia and government expenditurein Indonesia do not have causality  government expenditure in Indonesia. Based oo the result of this study it can be conclued that there have two variabel a causality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of respondents'income, the existence of online motorcycle taxis and accessibility to people'spreferences for Trans Padang Bus transportation services. The data in this study used a primer that was taken in October 2021. The data a collection technique was by distributing questionnaires and conducting direct observations. The population in this study was all users of Trans Padang Bus transportation services, by taking a sample of 100 respondents. This study uses a multiple regression analysis with the Ordinary Least Square method. For the questions in the questionnaire, a validity and reliability tests were carried out. The results of this study indicate that partially (1) respondents' income has a positive and significant effect on people's preferences for Trans Padang Bus transportation services. (2) the existence of an online motorcycle taxis has a significant and significant effect on people's preferences for Trans Padang Bus transportation services. (3) the trans Padang Bus accessibility has a positive and significant effect on Trans Padang Bus transportation services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of factors (X1) Education on poverty, (X2) Job Status on poverty, (X3) Number of Dependents on poverty, in West Sumatra. This study uses the logistic regression method. The sample used was taken from poor households based on the gender of the head of the household in West Sumatra. This study uses the Susenas data of West Sumatra Province in 2016. The results of the study show that (1) Education has a significant effect on poverty. (2) Employment Status has a significant effect on poverty. (3) The amount of dependents has a significant effect on poverty. (4) Taken together there is a significant influence between Education, Job Status, and Amount of Dependence on poverty in West Sumatra. From the results of research, poverty and gender generally have a positive relationship or relationship. Especially for households headed by women. Households headed by women are considered to be poorer than households headed by men. hence the need for special attention from the government so that poverty reduction efforts give priority to women and reduce gender inequality. So that women no longer tend to be poor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1)TVC XDFGhe Influence of Education Levels against Crime in Indonesia. (2) Effect of Population Density against Crime in Indonesia. (3) Effects  of Income Inequality on Crime in Indonesia. (4) Effect of Education Levels, Population Density, and Joint Income Inequality against Crime in Indonesia. The type of data used is secondary data. this study uses panel data, which uses 31 provinces in Indonesia using the Random Effect Model (REM) approach. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Education levels have a positive and significant effect on crime in Indonesia. (2) Population density has a negative and significant effect on crime in Indonesia. (3) Income inequality has a positive and not significant effect on crime in Indonesia. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the goverment and the authorities will actively carry out socialization aimed at creating security and order in areas prone to criminal acts and implementing programs for equitable development and creating employment opportunities to improve the economy of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of money supply M2, interest rate, government spending and local tax on the inflation in West Sumatera. This type of research is descriptive research and secondary datain the form of time-series from quartely 1 2007 to 2017 quartely 4 using the method of Autoregresive Distributed Lag analysis. The results of this study indicate that money supply in the long run have a significant and positive effect on inflation West Sumatera. In the short run  and long run the interest rate has a significant and positive effect on inflation in West Sumatera. Government spending in the Long run has a significant and negative effect on inflation in West Sumatera. Based on the result of this study can be concluded that there is inflation in West Sumatera is monetery of phenomenon in the long run.
