Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan subyek penelitian 23 siswa kelas XI IPA-1 di SMA Siliwangi Bogor. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi melalui penggunaan model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) dengan edia Pop Up Card. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus ada 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Setiap akhir siklus dilakukan tes dengan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan model STAD dengan media Pop Up Card dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi, terlihat dari rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 70,1 dan siklus 2 sebesar 77,0; sedangkan nilai rata-rata aktivitas siswa pada siklus 1 yaitu 78,01% dan pada siklus 2 menjadi 84,46%. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai maka dapat disimpulkan penggunaan model Student Teams Achievement Divisions dengan media Pop Up Card dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar  biologi siswa di kelas XI IPA-1 di SMA Siliwangi Bogor.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics through the Discovery Learning model. The 32 students of the fifth grade Papandayan State Elementary School became the subjects under study. The result showed that the learning implementation score in the first cycle was 72.2 and in the second cycle is 85.4. There are behavioral changes in students discipline, cooperation, confidence and enthusiasm in the first cycle with the acquisition of scores was 69.4, and in the second cycle increases to 81.13; meanwhile the average scores of students learning outcomes in the first cycle was 67.54 with the learning completion of 59.37%, and an average value in the second cycle is 80.86 with the learning completion 87.5%. The results of all aspects have increased: the implementation of learning increases to 13.2%, changes in student behavior with 11.73%, and completeness of mathematics learning outcomes increases to 28.13%. It can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning model improves the students students activities in each cycle.AbstrakMatematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang sering dikatakan sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit. Kenyataan ini didukung dengan rendahnya tingkat keberhasilan belajar yang didapat peserta didik. Oleh sebab itu penelitian dilakukan untuk mencari model yang tepat dalam peningkatan hasil belajar. Mengacu pada permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika melalui model Discovery Learning. 32 siswa dari kelas lima Sekolah Dasar Negeri Papandayan menjadi mata pelajaran yang diteliti. Penelitian tindakan kelas diberikan pada kelas dengan nilai rendah. Penelitian dilakukan menerapkan model pembelajaran dengan dua siklus. Hal ini bertujuan guna mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai dengan indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor implementasi pembelajaran pada siklus pertama adalah 72,2 dan pada siklus kedua adalah 85,4. Ada perubahan perilaku dalam disiplin siswa, kerja sama, kepercayaan diri dan antusiasme pada siklus pertama dengan perolehan skor adalah 69,4, dan pada siklus kedua meningkat menjadi 81,13; Sementara itu skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 67,54 dengan ketuntasan belajar 59,37%, dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus II adalah 80,86 dengan ketuntasan belajar 87,5%. Hasil semua aspek telah meningkat: pelaksanaan pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 13,2%, perubahan perilaku siswa dengan 11,73%, dan kelengkapan hasil belajar matematika meningkat menjadi 28,13%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning meningkatkan aktivitas siswa siswa dalam setiap siklus.Kata kunci: Hasil belajar, Matematika, Discovery Learning

Abstract

Abstrak: Mulut memiliki mikrofloranormal bakteri sebagai pertahanan tubuh. Bakteri Streptococcus mutans merupakan bakteri yang berkelompok pada permukaan gigi yang memiliki peranan dalam pembentukan karies gigi. Daun dan batang Ciplukan (Physalis angulata L.) mengandung polifenol, flavonoid, dan etanol serta antioksidan yang kuat yang diduga memiliki aktivitas antimikroba yang sangat baik. Tujuan penelitian ini yatu untuk mengetahui daya antibakteri obat kumur ekstraksisi etanol campuran daun dan batang ciplukan (P. angulata L.) terhadap bakteri Streptococcus mutans. Metode penelitian bersifat eksperimental murni laboratorium yang menggunakan kulturisasi bakteri S. mutans. Uji daya antibakteri menggunakan cara dengan dilusi cair dan dilanjutkan dengan dilusi padat. Uji analisis statistik menggunakan uji deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada konsentrasi 15% obat kumur ekstraksi etanol campuran daun dan batang ciplukan mempunyai kadar hambat minimal (KHM) dan kadar bunuh minimal (KBM).   Formulasi ini bisa direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut agar bisa digunakan oleh masyarakat yang tinggal dikawasan suhu dingin.Kata Kunci: Ciplukan, obat kumur, Streptoccus mutans. Abstrak: The mouth has microfloranormal bacteria as a defense of the body. Mutant Streptococcus bacteria are bacteria that cluster on the surface of the teeth that have a role in the formation of dental caries. Ciplukan leaves and stems (Physalis angulata L.) contain polyphenols, flavonoids, and ethanol as well as powerful antioxidants that are thought to have excellent antimicrobial activity. The purpose of this study was to find out the antibacterial power of ethanol extraction drugs mixed with leaves and stems ciplukan (P. angulata L.) against bacteria Streptococcus mutants. The research method is purely experimental laboratory that uses the culture of bacteria S. mutants. Antibacterial power test using a means with liquid dilution and continued with solid dilution. Test statistical analysis using descriptive tests. From the results of the study showed that at a concentration of 15% mouthwash ethanol extraction mixed leaves and stems ciplukan have minimal levels of bland (KHM) and minimal kill rate (KBM).   This formulation can be recommended for further research so that it can be used by people living in cold temperatures.Keywords:  Ciplukan, mouthwash, Streptoccus mutants

Abstract

The Effect of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) and Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Teaching Techniques on the Learning Outcome of Natural Science Subject to the students of fifth grade at V SDN Cijujung 03 Kecamatan Bogor. The research employs quasi experimental method and it shows that the average score of the class using TGT gets 7.4% with the N-gain of 1.26 and the class using Student Teams Achievement Divisions gets 5.7% with N-gain of 1.02. The T-tailed score significance or 0.000.05 or Ha is accepted. It can be inferred that there is a significant effect of using TGT and STAD on natural science subject of class 5 at SDN Cijujung 03 in the district of Bogor, the academic year of 2014-2015.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a pocket book in learning biology in order to increase students enthusiasm for learning and is an effort to improve students mastery of concepts. The research was carried out on class X high school students. Data collection was carried out at Ragunan Wildlife Park, Jakarta. The research was carried out in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year, January to June 2020. The method used in this study was the research and development method using the 4-D (Four D) model, namely Define, Design (Design). , Develop (Development), and Disseminate (Spread). The development of teaching materials is carried out in two stages, namely: Expert Validation and Revision of Learning Media. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the pocket book Mammals of the Primate order which was developed with the define, design, develop stage has met the components that are in accordance with KD in the 2013 curriculum, the language used is easy to understand, the presentation of a pocket book that is full of color and the images shown are very supportive of the material. learning so that it can attract the readers attention. The Primate Order Mammals pocket book shows valid results and is suitable for use in biology learning. The average value of expert validation from the content / content aspect was 83.5 percent, the language aspect was 83 percent, and the presentation aspect was 82.5 percent.

Abstract

This study aims to development of media mobile learning based on android for learning the biology of nervous system material and to determine the effectiveness of media mobile learning based on android in improving students' conceptual understanding. The type of research used was development (R&D), population, and sample, namely class XI IPA 2 as many as 30 students at one of the public high schools in Bogor Regency which was carried out from January to May 2020. This development research procedure used a model (4D) consisting of 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The instruments   used   were   tests (pre- test and post-test), response questionnaire sheets, and documentation. The implementation of deployment trials was carried out using a one group pre-test and post-test research design. The results showed that the media mobile learning got a very feasible category. This is based on the average percentage of the assessment from the expert validation team, namely 82.75%. Media mobile learning Android-based on learning the biology of the nervous system material can improve students' understanding of concepts and almost all students respond positively. This is proven by an increase in the results of the pre-test and post-test values after using the application so that the N-gain value obtained is 66.5.

Abstract

Pelatihan penerapan E-Modul ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi permasalahan yang dihadapai mitra dalam meningkatkan kompetensi literasi pada bidang teknologi terutama dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital tepat guna berbasis aplikasi yang mudah digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Aplikasi ini berupa perangkat software dalam bentuk e-modul berbasis anyflip yang mudah digunakan oleh peserta didik. Pelatihan dan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan di SDN Tajur 02 Kota Bogor. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan ini melalui diskusi dengan semua tim dosen dan mitra dan menghasilkan E-Modul yang dapat digunakan oleh peserta didik secara efektif.

Abstract

Biodiversity was the important topic for biology learning to support environmental sustainability, especially in Echinoderms biodiversity. The purpose of this study was to identify Echinoderm species found on Pangumbahan Beach, Ujung Genteng, Sukabumi and develop e-booklet teaching materials for students. The research procedure is field observation with the exploration of transect methods at 3 stations representing 3 ecosystems, namely rocky sand ecosystems, coral ecosystems, and seagrass meadow ecosystems. Sampling was carried out by transecting a combination of plots with a plot size of 5 x 25 meters at three different stations and the develop the learning media with research and development method. The results of the study found 3 classes, 4 orders, 4 families, and 4 genera of Echinodermata consisting of 7 species, namely Ophiocoma scolopendrina, Ophiocoma erinaceus, Ophiomastix annulosus, Diadema setosum, Tripneustes gratilla, Synapta maculata, Euapta gedeffroyi, and Holothuria atra. The validation results of the booklet receive an average score of 88%, placing it in the category of very feasible for use in school learning activities.  This media can empower students’ knowledge about biology topic, expecially in Echinoderm to support environmental sustainability.
