Abstract

Abstract Stated Preference method is a flexible non-market valuation method, which is widely used in the cost-benefit analysis. In this study, the willingness to pay for passenger cars is estimated and compared using two different Stated Preference methods, namely the Contingent Valuation and Stated Choice methods. These models are applied to estimate the non-market value of road safety in the City of Bandung. Interviews were conducted with more than 500 residents of the City of Bandung. The results showed that the willingness to pay using contingent valuation method is Rp 180.32/km and willingness to pay using stated choice method is Rp 333.7/km. The main concern for these models is the reliability and validity of the assessment results, because there is a hypothetical question and a big gap between the two models. Therefore the reliability examination for both models is the most significant problem. Keywords: stated preference, valuation method, contingent valuation, stated choice, road safety  AbstrakMetode Stated Preference adalah metode penilaian nonpasar yang fleksibel, yang banyak digunakan dalam analisis biaya-manfaat. Pada penelitian ini kesediaan membayar pengguna mobil penumpang diperkirakan dan dibandingkan dengan menggunakan dua metode Stated Preference yang berbeda, yaitu metode Contingent Valuation dan metode Stated Choice. Model-model ini diterapkan untuk mengestimasi nilai nonpasar keselamatan jalan di Kota Bandung. Survei wawancara dilakukan dengan melibatkan lebih dari 500 orang penduduk Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemauan membayar dengan menggunakan metode contingent valuation adalah Rp 180,32/km dan kemauan membayar dengan menggunakan metode stated choice adalah Rp 333,7/km. Perhatian utama untuk model-model ini adalah keandalan dan validitas hasil penilaian, karena terdapat pertanyaan hipotetis dan kesenjangan yang besar di antara kedua model. Abstract

Indonesia has experienced increasing economic growth every year. This recent trend needs to be supported by adequate transportation infrastructures, especially roads. Since there is limited budget for infrastructure development, the government has invited private investors for toll road construction. Toll tariff and traffic volume are two main factors that affect toll road income and investment. A method based on financial approach needs to be developed to enhance the benefit cost analysis of toll road construction and furthermore to determine the toll tariff. Factors that affect toll tariff were analyzed based on vehicle number and vehicle growth rate. The elasticity theory was applied in this case study to identify the effects of toll tariff on traffic volume. A model of critical traffic volume was created based on the analysis of several factors such as construction cost, operation and maintenance cost, payback period, and internal rate of return. The results from Jia method and the Present Worth Factor (PWF) method show that the relationship between traffic volume and toll tariff is very sensitive, indicated by the elasticity value equal to 1. The difference between the two method is about 27% and is caused by the double counting on taxes on Jia method.

Abstract

Traffic safety on the highway is a complex problem involving the behavior of drivers, driving conditions, vehicle characteristics, and features of the highway. Traffic accidents can be reduced with safety programs, in an attempt to address these traffic accident problems. This study aims to reduce the severity and frequency of road accidents. An observation made in Cikundul Bridge, located at Puncak Road, West Java. This location is a dangerous location, which needs to be given priority for remedial based on analysis of existing traffic accident data. The remedial that needs to be done includes installation of better traffic signs, installation of road markings, installation of fences, improving road geometric conditions, and improved visibility.Keywords: traffic safety, accident severity, road safety program

Abstract

AbstractVehicle speed has been identified as a key factor in road traffic accidents, which affects the risk of traffic accidents and the severity of the victim. Vehicle speed contributes to accidents when the vehicle speed is higher than the permitted speed limit or higher than that of a certain condition. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between speed and severity of the victim of traffic accident using the Power and Depkimpraswil Models. The results indicate that the Power Model gives a greater influence at speeds higher than 90 km / hour.Keywords: vehicle speed, traffic accidents, accident risk, victims of accidents. AbstrakKecepatan kendaraan telah diidentifikasi sebagai faktor kunci dalam kecelakaan lalulintas jalan, yang mempengaruhi risiko kecelakaan lalulintas dan tingkat keparahan korban. Kecepatan kendaraan memberikan kontribusi untuk kecelakaan ketika kecepatan kendaraan tersebut lebih tinggi dari batas kecepatan yang diizinkan atau lebih tinggi dari suatu kecepatan untuk yang memungkinkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara kecepatan dan tingkat keparahan korban kecelakaan lalulintas menggunakan Model Power dan Model Depkimpraswil. Abstract

ABSTRAKSeiring dengan kemajuan dan meningkatnya jumlah pengguna jasa transportasi, perusahaan-perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa transportasi dituntut untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanannya, salah satunya adalah perusahaan Trans Metro Bandung (TMB). Penentuan tingkat kepuasan pengguna TMB koridor 2 dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pengguna TMB koridor 2. Hasil dari kuesioner tersebut kemudian digambarkan dalam diagram kartesius Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) serta nilai Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) yang menunjukkan kepuasan pengguna secara keseluruhan. Diagram kartesius IPA menunjukkan bahwa atribut keamanan dan kenyamanan penumpang, kepedulian petugas terhadap penumpang, serta kebersihan di dalam bus adalah hal yang harus ditingkatkan oleh TMB koridor 2. Tingkat kepuasan pengguna secara keseluruhan ditunjukkan dengan nilai CSI sebesar 71,74% yang berarti pengguna masih belum puas dengan pelayanan TMB koridor 2.Kata kunci: Transportasi, kualitas pelayanan, kepuasan pelanggan, jasa transportasi massal. ABSTRACTAlong with the progress and the increasing number of transport services user, companies engaged in the transportation services required to improve the quality of its services, one of which is the Trans Metro Bandung (TMB) company. Determining the level of user satisfaction TMB corridor 2 is done by distributing questionnaires to TMB corridor 2 user. The results of the questionnaire are then illustrated in the Cartesian diagram Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and the value of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), which shows the overall user satisfaction. IPA Cartesian diagram shows that the attributes of safety and passenger comfort, care workers to passengers, as well as the cleanliness in the bus are things that should be improved by TMB corridor 2. The level of overall user satisfaction is shown with a CSI score of 71.74%, which means that users of TMB still has not been satisfied with the service corridor 2.Keywords: Transport, service quality, customer satisfaction, mass transportation services.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan hasil dari kombinasi faktor-faktor penyebab  yang yang terdiri dari faktor manusia, kendaraan, jalan, dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabel dominan dari beberapa faktor penyebab kecelakaan dengan memodelkan hubungan antara angka korban kecelakaan lalu lintas dengan variabel faktor penyebab kecelakaan di Jalan Tol Purbaleunyi pada tahun 2015–2017. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa data sekunder yang terdiri dari data jumlah korban dan jumlah kecelakaan yang diakibatkan oleh faktor-faktor penyebab kecelakaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis regresi linear berganda dengan melakukan uji linearitas dan uji korelasi terlebih dahulu. Uji linearitas digunakan untuk memastikan apakah data yang akan dianalisis dapat menggunakan analisis regresi linear atau tidak, sedangkan uji korelasi digunakan untuk menentukan hubungan antara variabel baik antara sesama variabel bebas maupun antara variabel peubah bebas dengan variabel peubah tidak bebas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada tahun 2015–2017, variabel utama faktor kecelakaan diakibatkan oleh faktor manusia dan faktor kendaraan yaitu variabel mengantuk ( ) dan rem blong ( ).Kata kunci: Kecelakaan lalu lintas, faktor penyebab kecelakaan lalu lintas, regresi linear berganda. ABSTRACTTraffic accidents are the result of a combination of factors causes which consists of the human factor, vehicle, road, and environment. This study aims to determine the majority of the accidents variable of several factors that cause accidents by modeling the relationship between the numbers of traffic accident victims with variable factors causing the accident on Highway Purbaleunyi in 2015–2017. The data used in this study of secondary data consists of data on the number of victims and the number of accidents caused by factors that cause accidents. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis to test the linearity and correlation test beforehand. Linearity test used to determine whether the data will be analyzed using linear regression analysis or not, whereas the correlation test was used to determine the relationship between both variables among the independent variables and the independent variables with the variable variable variable is not free. Based on the results of research conducted in 2015–2017, the main variable of the accident factor is caused by human factors and vehicle factors, which are variable drowsiness ( ) and brake failure ( ).Keywords: Traffic accidents, the causes of traffic accidents, multiple linear regression.
