Abstract

Tourism industry growing rapidly nowadays is in culinary field which relates to food and beverage supply. The tourist trend recently is visiting a destination to look for or hunt for the local special food and do not hesitate to pay in high price to enjoy the cuisine. Special culinary tour of Yogyakarta becomes one of the tourism attractions of Special Region of Yogyakarta that be able to get great benefits toward community economy. Eel culinary business is potential to grow the local society economy.The aim of the research is to find out consumer attitude toward service center of Eel culinary at Godean Sleman Yogyakarta. Data collection technique used is questionnaire and sampling method used convenient sampling method.As for the research steps consisted of: 1) preparation step of the research instrument included literature review, research design setting and earlier observation, 2) step of data collection in the field is conducted by observation, questionnaire, interview, and secondary data collection, 3) step of data tabulation and analysis, consisted of: a) data component tabulation, including data reduction and data presentation, b) data verification including data validity, c) data analysis, using attitude index analysis method, 4) step of report writing as the final step of the research, where all results analyzed was presented in a structured written product. From the analysis using attitude index was obtained a value of 8,71 means the consumers have neutral attitude toward the service center of Eel culinary at Godean Sleman Yogyakarta. As for the attributes the best responded were access, credibility and tangible (parking are), and the worst responded attribute was (religious service).

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of the Social Security program on performance and job satisfaction and job stress as a mediating variable. In addition, this study also describes the effect of job satisfaction on the performance and the effect of work stress on performance. The relationship of each variable in this research is to be measured by conducting a survey on 145 employees of private companies that included in Social Security program on DIY and Solo. Then the path analisys used to test the effect of social security program performance in mediation by job satisfaction, performance and job stress, job satisfaction, and examines the effect on the performance and the effect of work stress on performance. The results showed that the social security program significant positively affects job satisfaction and performance. Job satisfaction was also positively and significantly affect performance. Even though mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between social security program performance partial. Because merely direct relationship between social security program with greater performance than the mediating role of job satisfaction. Social Security program did not significantly affect the stress of work, as well as job stress did not significantly affect performance. Therefore, the mediating role of work stress on the relationship between social security program with the performance did not occur. Individual differences and work experience may be a factor that causes no significant relationship between the two variables.

Abstract

Tourism industry that has recently experienced rapid development is culinary field. It is a tourism activity concerning the provision of food and beverage. The present tourists’ trend is to visit a tourism area to find or hunt local foods. Besides, they are not reluctant to pay in high price to enjoy a meal. Culinary tourism of Yogyakarta special souvenirs become DIY tourism power which is able to create great benefit to the society economy. Business of Yogyakarta special souvenirs such as bakpia, geplak, yangko, gudeg, jadah tempe, kipo, etchave potential to develop local society. The objective of this research is to find out the effect of Yogyakarta special souvenirs culinary tourism towards society economy. The data collection technique utilizes convenience sampling method. The research stages consist of: 1) research instrument preparation stage, including literature review, research design arrangement and initial observation; 2) Field data collection stageis performed with observation, survey/questionnaire, interview and other secondary data collections; 3) Data processing and analysis stage consist of :a) data component processing, such as data reduction and presentation and triangulation, b) data verification, such as data validation using triangulation, c) data analysis using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis methods 4) report writing stage is the last research stage, in which all research results that have been analyzed are in form of structured writing. The review strategy of problem analysis uses Logical framework analysis and statistical analysis of two mean different hypothesis test. Based on the previous analysis, it has been proven that the promotion of culinary tourism of Yogyakarta special souvenirs has positive effect on society economy in this sector.
