Abstract

Manufacture industry develops very rapidly, it could be seen from the various technology that is used inthe process of the production. This developments causes the increasing of consumers needs, so the businessmenof manufacture have to be able to increase the quality and quantity of the products that are produced. Oneof the way to increase it that is by using aids of productions which are Jig and Fixture. This paper is talkingabout the design of Welding Fixture which this kind of fixture is always used for welding processes. Theseaids are used for the welding process of front engine mounting cars products of Suzuki Baleno. The design ofwelding fixture is done to decrease the defects of the products caused by the less precise components placementwhen the welding process is underway. Moreover, the design is done to hasten the processes of loading andunloading (setup).

Abstract

The manufacturing industry has been growing rapidly at this time, it can be seen from the number of manufacturing companies that have emerged and growing. Obstacles often occur over production activity in a manufacturing company is a long setup times and product quality in production activities which will indirectly affect the output product to be produced. The longer of the setup activities will result in the output of products which are getting smaller. Improved product quality and minimize setup time can be done either by the use of tools manufacturing which is often known as jigs and fixtures. This paper will discuss the design of jig and fixture for manufacture products cover on-off. Jigs and fixtures are designed to be used for the process drilling for three holes. Jig and Fixture design results can provide a reduction in total time of manufacture of the product, product quality improvements, increased productivity and cost saving product manufacture for products cover on-off.

Abstract

Deterioration problem is due to a decrease in engine performance the machine used constantly. Deterioration of the engine can cause production system problem. In this research, the development of optimization models taking into account the production and quality cost component in the multistage production system. All products will undergo inspection by sampling or census. Good product after sampling inspection will be delivered to the consumer, while the nonconforming product will be inspected prior to the census carried out rework. Dynamic programming used to optimize the decision-making process over the entire stage which was later named the optimal policy

Abstract

Pemeriksaan kesehatan yang dilakukan dengan datang ke fasilitas kesehatan memiliki kendala dalam hal jarak, waktu serta energi, khususnya bagi individu dengan keterbatasan fisik. Salah satunya adalah penyandang tunanetra. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya telah mengembangkan suatu alat medis portabel yang terdiri dari alat ukur tinggi badan, berat badan, denyut jantung, saturasi oksigen, tekanan darah dan suhu tubuh yang dapat mengirimkan hasil pemeriksaan langsung ke tenaga ahli medis. Alat medis tersebut pun dapat digunakan oleh individu dengan keterbatasan fisik, seperti penyandang tunanetra. Namun begitu, alat medis tersebut belum terintegrasi serta belum dilengkapi dengan petunjuk pemakaian yang memudahkan penyandang tunanetra untuk menggunakannya. Perancangan fasilitas pemeriksaan kesehatan dilakukan sebagai jembatan penghubung antara alat medis portabel tersebut dengan penyandang tunanetra agar mereka dapat dengan mudah melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan tanpa bantuan orang lain. Perancangan dilakukan dengan metode Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD). Responden penelitian adalah 30 penyandang tunanetra di Panti Sosial Bina Netra (PSBN) Wyata Guna Kota Bandung. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dimana atribut pernyataan diturunkan dari aspek ENASE Konsep anthropometri dibutuhkan dalam perancangan fasilitas ini. Terdapat tiga alternatif konsep dimana pemilihan konsep dilakukan secara kuantitatif pada tahap concept screening dan concept selecting. Konsep yang terpilih adalah konsep kedua dimana dimensi fasilitas adalah 209 x 192 x 300 cm. Material yang digunakan adalah kayu serta lantai menggunakan material parket. Fasilitas dilengkapi dengan petunjuk suara untuk menyampaikan informasi pada pengguna. Fasilitas dirancang agar pengguna mudah menjangkau peralatan di dalamnya, serta dilengkapi fasilitas penunjang seperti kursi, meja, pegangan tangan, speaker dan sensor pemindai identitas.

Abstract

Lean healthcare is one way to identify and minimize waste in every service process at the outpatient installation of Al Islam Bandung Hospital (RSAI). Patients must wait more than 2 hours to get service. The tools used for the implementation of lean healthcare are current state mapping, value assessment, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). The results showed that the wastage waiting category was a critical waste. Proposed improvements are expected to reduce waiting time for general patient services 65.438%, BPJS Health patients 70.632%, and contracting patients 70.921%.

Abstract

CV X merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi kemeja. Produk tersebut didistribusikan ke 26 toko yang terdapat di Kota Bandung. Proses pendistribusiannya masih dilakukan berdasarkan perkiraan driver saja tanpa memperhatikan banyaknya permintaan dari setiap toko dan kapasitas alat angkut yang dimiliki perusahaan. Cara pengiriman tersebut mengakibatkan barang yang dikirim sering mengalami keterlambatan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan ini dikenal juga sebagai Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP). Pada penelitian ini diusulkan metode savings matrix, nearest neighbor, dan 2-opt untuk mendapatkan rute distribusi yang lebih baik sehingga keterlambatan dapat dikurangi atau dihilangkan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diperoleh total jarak sebesar 158,21 km dengan waktu 478 menit, sedangkan awalnya total jarak 190,41 km dan waktu 588 menit. Besarnya penghematan jarak yang didapat yaitu sebesar 16,911% atau dapat menghemat total jarak tempuh sebesar 32,2 km.
