Abstract

This study aims to portray the resilience of Using culture through a phenomenological study of 'street singers' (pengamen) in Banyuwangi. The street singers of Banyuwangi also colore the richness of Using culture and appear to present Using ethnic songs in expressing their artistic activities. The influence of global culture is increasingly difficult to be blocked [1] [2], meanwhile geographically, the location of the cultural existence is precisely at the crossroads of two major cultures, namely Javanese and Balinese cultures [3]. Qualitative research through phenomenological studies was conducted through in-depth interviews with cultural actors (street singers) and the Using supporting community of Banyuwangi. The data is then analyzed through the sequence stages: (1) transcribing the recorded interview results to written form, (2) bracketing (epoche), (3) taking an inventory of important statements (horizonalization), (4) formulating into the meaning (cluster of meaning) and (5) performing the descriptions of the essence. The results of this study cover two important things. First, Using culture can survive because of the aclak (active), bingkak (creative) and ladak (innovative) spirits of Using cultural actors. Second, the acceptance of the Banyuwangi community in general for the artistic expression of Using songs due to the consequences of the defense (uri-uri) spirit of the community. This study concludes that the preservation of Using culture is based on the internal spirit (active, creative, innovative) of cultural actors and external spirit, namely the process of preservation (uri-uri).

Abstract

AbstractThis article is the result of virtual learning research with research subjects of two groups of students and aims to determine the effectiveness of metacognitive learning so that the components of metacognition in solving problems can be analyzed. The research begins with a pre-test followed by virtual learning and ends with post-test and metacognition questionnaires. During the post-test, students' activities in solving them were observed through awareness, evaluation, and regulation while the metacognition questionnaire consisted of questions about metacognition components. The results of the data analysis show that students who do metacognition, their learning outcomes increase so that there is a relationship between the components of metacognition and the ability to solve problems. This relationship is expressed by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.419 with the regression equation y = 61.02 + 0.287x. This means that each metacognition independent variable can increase the average problem solving dependent variable by 0.287 units. Statistically, metacognitive learning is quite effective in solving problems. Based on these final results it can be recommended that virtual learning with a metacognitive model can be used as a new way and becomes a strong motivation for students to improve their ability to solve problems. Keywords: effectiveness, metacognition questionnaire homogeneous, interpretation, virtual learning. AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian pembelajaran virtual dengan subjek penelitian dua kelompok mahasiswa dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran metakognitif sehingga komponen metakognisi dalam memecahkan masalah dapat dianalisis.  Penelitian diawali dengan pre-test yang dilanjutkan dengan pembelajaran virtual dan diakhiri dengan pemberian post-test dan  angket metakognisi. Selama post-test, diamati aktivitas mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikannya melalui kesadaran, evaluasi, dan regulasi  sedangkan angket metakognisi berupa pertanyaan tentang  komponen metakognisi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan mahasiswa yang melakukan metakognisi, hasil belajarnya meningkat sehingga ada hubungan antara komponen metakognisi dengan kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah. Hubungan tersebut dinyatakan oleh koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,419 dengan persamaan regresi y = 61,02 + 0,287x. Hal ini berarti bahwa setiap variabel independen metakognisi dapat meningkatkan rata-rata variabel dependen pemecahan masalah sebesar 0,287 satuan. Secara statistika  pembelajaran metakognitif cukup efektif dalam pemecahan masalah. Berdasarkan hasil akhir tersebut dapat direkomendasikan bahwa pembelajaran virtual dengan model metakognitif dapat digunakan sebagai cara baru dan menjadi motivasi yang kuat bagi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan  kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Kata kunci: angket metakognisi, efektivitas, homogen, interpretasi, pembelajaran virtual.

Abstract

Mathematics subjects are often considered difficult for students, especially junior high school students who have very lit t le emotion, not infrequently these students also regard mathematics as a fr ightening specter when the learning process takes place. Learning media as a tool that ca n help the teaching and learning process to achieve learning objectives that are effective and fun. One of the learning media that can be made with simple and inexpensive equipment for junior high school students is Pop up book media. The pop- up book media it self is a three- dimensional or 3D learning media where when the book is opened, pictures or writings appear that appear very interesting according to the material to be taught. This media tends to make students more interested in learning it and forget a lit t le about the difficulties and fears of mathematics.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pentingnya harmonisasi olah nalar dan olah rasa sebagai sebuah seni mendidik di era merdeka belajar. Sederet paradigma pendidikan yang menitik beratkan pada komptensi kognitif, serta praktik kependidikan yang banyak bernuasa dan memuat akademik semata adalah alasan mengapa kajian ini dilakukan. Institusi pendidikan sebagaimana disebut Gramsci [1] juga merupakan institusi publik yang berpotensi munculnya hegemoni, budaya bisu serta perilaku feodal dari para pelakunya [2]. Seorang pendidik yang terjebak pada kejumudan berpikir, miskin inovasi, dan menegasikan rasa adalah sumber malapetaka dari pendidikan modern saat ini. Ia hanya akan memaksakan bahwa metodolonginya sebagai satu-satunya jalan paling benar. Ia bahkan tertutup dan jumud dari dari segala bentuk kebaruan, sehingga pendidikan menjadi mati sebelum berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaa dengan tahapan urutan; 1) pemilihan topik, 2) eksplorasi materi, 3) menentukan fokus penelitian, 4) pengumpulan sumber data, 5) penyajian data dan 6) menyusun laporan. Hasil dari studi ini menemukan bahwa harmonisasi nalar dan rasa adalah satu seni penting yang takterelakkan dalam pendidikan. Nalar dan rasa menjadi piranti yang harus bekerja secara seimbang dalam pengawal segala praktik pendidikan, khusunya di era Merdeka Belajar. Karena nalar tanpa rasa hanya akan melahirkan arogansi akademik yang feodalistik, sedangkan rasa tanpa nalar akan melahirkan perilaku cacat pikir. Baik nalar maupun rasa perlu berjalan secara harmonis demi tercapainya tujuan hakiki pendidikan.

Abstract

Although it has always been a factor influencing physical activity, it turns out that there have been no research reports on negative experiences in sport, Barriers to participation in sport, or physical activity of students in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to generate knowledge about the negative experiences in sport, Barriers to participation in sport, and physical activity based on the gender of junior high school students in Bojonegoro Regency. The method used in this study is causal comparative correlation. The data used is taken from the Big Data Center for the study of physical literacy and sports education, Masters of Sports Education, IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The population in this study was all junior high school students in Bojonegoro Regency, while the sample used was 846 respondents. To test the hypothesis, the researchers used the following techniques: descriptive analysis, a single mean test, two different means tests, and a correlation test. It was concluded that the negative experiences in sport did not exceed the tolerance limit, Barriers to participation in sport had met the tolerance limit, physical activity did not meet the eligibility criteria, there was no difference in negative experiences in sport, Barriers to participation in sport physical activity based on gender, and there was a relationship between negative experiences in sport and , Barriers to participation in sport. There is no relationship between negative experiences in sport and physical activity; there is a relationship between reasons for not exercising and physical activity.
