Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was describing the ability of mathematical communication in solving the mathematics problem. This research was include of study case situation analysis research. The subjects of this research consisted of four students of Class IXb of the ninth grade SMPN 1 Surakarta in the second semester of the academic year 2012/2013.  They were two students who had field dependence cognitive style and two students who had field independence cognitive style. The subjects were taken by using the purposive sampling technique. The data of this research were gathered through think aloud method. The data were then analyzed by using the technique with the procedureas follows: (1) the data were classified on the basis of the indicators of mathematical communication after the data had been obtained from the first and the second collections; (2) the data were presented in table form; and (3) the conclusions were drawn. The validity of the data was conducted by using time triangulation. The result of this research were analyzed by using constant comparison in which subject in i (i= 1, 2) with the j (j= 1, 2) cognitive style which was already valid as well compared with subject in k (k= 1, 2) with the the j (j= 1, 2) cognitive style which was already valid as well. The equal ability of mathematical communication was made the main finding wheares the different ability of mathematical communication was made the other finding. The result of this research valid because of the dependability proved. The ability of mathematical communication of the students with the field dependence cognitive style is different from that of those with the field independence cognitive style. The students with the field dependence cognitive style can communicate the ideas in written way well but they have difficulties in communicating ideas in spoken way as well as inclination to receive information without reorganizing it in such a way that the problem-solving ideas presented cannot reveal the actual problem solution. Meanwhile, the students with the field independence cognitive style can communicate the ideas well in both spoken and written ways and process as well as reorganize information in such a way that the problem-solving ideas presented can reveal the actual problem solution. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses dan sikap positif komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan guru SLB dan peserta didik tunarungu dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ditentukan melalui purposive sampling, penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIII tunarungu SLB Dharma Bhakti Dharma Pertiwi Bandar Lampung dengan subjek berjumlah 2 orang berdasarkan peserta didik yang mendapat nilai ulangan harian tertinggi dan terendah dan pertimbangan guru kelas.Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan tringulasi waktu yang didasarkan ketika hasil dokumentasi berupa foto dan video berbeda maka akan dilakukan secara berulang sehingga ditemukan kepastian data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peserta didik yang memiliki gangguan pendengaran ringan dapat menjalin komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif. Hal ini terlihat saat peserta didik menerima dan memahami materi serta memberi umpan balik dengan baik dan benar saat menjawab pertanyaan dari guru. Sedangkan peserta didik yang memiliki gangguan pendengaran berat mengalami kesulitan saat menjalin komunikasi interpersonal. Hal ini terlihat saat peserta didik kurang tepat dalam menerima dan memahami materi, serta memberi umpan balik dari guru. Selain proses komunikasi interpersonal yang baik, guru dan peserta didik juga memiliki sikap positif yang mendukung komunikasi interpersonal. Adapun sikap positif yang dimiliki yaitu sikap keterbukaan, empati, sikap mendukung, sikap positif dan kesetaraan antara satu sama lain.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a POE (predict observe explain) based mathematical module on the subject matter of a straight-line equation. It is also to see the response of educators and learners to POE (Predict Observe Explain) based mathematics module on the basic material of straight line equation. This research uses Research & Development. The design validation stage involves 9 subjects namely three material experts, three media experts and three linguists to assess the material feasibility, the design of math modules and the feasibility of Indonesian language is good and correct. The pilot phase is done through 2 stages small group trial and field trials. Based on the validation results of the expert material obtained an average score of 3.34 with valid criteria, for the media expert to obtain an average score of 3.52 with valid criteria while for the linguist get an average score of 3.33 with valid criteria. In the test phase of response 2 educators got an average score of 3.37 with very interesting criteria. As for the response of learners on small group trial obtained an average score of 3.05 with interesting criteria and on field trials obtained an average score of 3.33 with very interesting criteria so that the math module is feasible to be used as teaching materials.

Abstract

Modul elektronik (e-modul) adalah salah satu inovasi yang bisa digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika di era digital saat ini.Metode penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan metode Pra Eksperimen yang akan menghasilkan pengembangan e-modul denganpendekatanContextual Teaching Learning. Pendekatan Contextual Teaching Learning merupakan konsep belajar yang mengaitkan antara materi yang diajarkan dengan situasi dunia nyata yang bertujuan agar siswa lebih memahami materi yang sedang dipelajarinya. Analisis data menggunakananalisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data keseluruhan diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara kepada guru. Hasildatatersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengembangane-modulberpendekatan Contextual Teaching Learning mulai diperlukan di era sekarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui solusi dari hasil yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian,dan menghasilkan suatu produk e-modul untuk siswa kelas tujuh di madrasah tsanawiyah di bandar lampung.Kata kunci :E-modul; Contextual Teaching Learning

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-module teaching materials by applying kvisoft flipbook maker on the subject of the set. To view teacher and learner responses to e-module teaching materials using the kvisoft flipbook maker application on the subject of the set. The method of this research was conducted using Research & Development method of Borg and Gall model which has been modified by Sugiyono covering 7 stages: 1) Potential and Problem, 2) Collecting Data, 3) Product Design, 4) Design Validation, 5) Design Revision, 6) Product Trial, 7) Product Revision. The results of this study indicate that the value of feasibility by the material experts scored an average of 3.23 with good criteria and value of feasibility by media experts with an average score of 3.28 with very good criteria, while the value of feasibility by linguists got a flat score 3.02 with good criteria. The response of the students was very interesting, with the achievement of the average score of 3.33 small group trials and the achievement of the average score of 3.49 field trials, the teachers test response was very interesting with the achievement of an average score of 3.64. This shows that the e-module using the kvisoft flipbook maker application generated in this study is considered feasible for use in the mathematics learning of the set matter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa LKPD sebagai bentuk perhatian terhadap peserta didik penyandang autisme yang termasuk ke dalam Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK). Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Matematika berbasis visual merupakan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh peserta didik dalam mempelajari Matematika supaya lebih mudah. Penelitian dilakukan di SLB Mazaya Bandar Lampung pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Metode penelitian menggunakan prasurvey yang akan menghasilkan suatu LKPD dengan berbasis gaya belajar peserta didik yaitu gaya belajar visual. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data kualitatif. Hasil data tersebut kemudian digunakan sebagai acuan untuk membuat sebuah produk berupa LKPD.  Kata Kunci: Gaya Belajar Visual; LKPD; Autisme

Abstract

Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan prosedural rancangan oleh Borg & Gall yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono meliputi 7 tahap yaitu: 1) Potensi dan Masalah, 2) Mengumpulkan Data, 3) Desain Produk, 4) Validasi Desain, 5) Revisi Desain, 6) Uji Coba Produk, 7) Revisi produk. Kualitas media pembelajaran dinilai oleh ahli materi dan ahli multimedia, praktisi pendidikan dan 27 peserta didik kelas VII. Data kualitas yang diperoleh masih dalam bentuk deskriptif kemudian diubah menjadi skor. Hasil penelitian pengembangan menunjukan bahwa telah dihasilkan media pembelajaran yang memenuhi kriteria kualitas kelayakan. Kualitas media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan secara keseluruhan adalah sangat baik (SB) dengan persentase kelayakan menurut ahli materi sebesar 84%, persentase kelayakan menurut ahli multimedia sebesar 85%. persentase kelayakan menurut peserta didik sebesar 90% disertai respon positip peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan sudah menarik dan memudahkan dalam memahami materi statistika dan peluang. Sedangkan pada praktisi pendidikan diperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 84% maka media pembelajaran layak digunakan dan dikembangkan agar peserta didik semakin mudah mempelajari materi tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of realistic mathemathic education models on students' mathematical reasoning abilities in terms of learning styles. This type of research is quantitative. Data collection techniques used are essay tests and interviews. The data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing using anava 2 roads. However, before the anova test is carried out, the normality, homogeneity and balance test are carried out first. Based on the data that has been known that normal data, based on the same and balanced variance, the 2-way ANOVA test results show that there is an influence of the RTE model on students' mathematical reasoning ability, namely the reasoning ability of students with the RME model treatment is better than mathematical reasoning ability with conventional treatment methods. In addition, there is the influence of student learning styles on students' reasoning abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce linear algebra teaching materials based on Islamic values with a scientific approach to matrix material and a system of linear equations that are appropriate and appropriate to the needs of students. This research method is Research and Development (R D) with the model used, namely the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Validation was carried out by material experts, media experts and experts in religious studies and responses from students. The instruments used were in the form of validation questionnaires and student response sheets. Based on the research, the results of material expert validation with a percentage of 84% with the category "Very Worthy", the results of media expert validation with a percentage of 76% with the category "Eligible", the results of the validation of religious experts with a percentage of 76% with the category "Eligible" and after development, material Teachers are implemented or tested to find out student responses with 88% presentation in the "Very Good" category. Based on this research development the advantages of the teaching materials are teaching material related to Islamic values and scientific approaches.
