Abstract

Company X is one of the bakery companies that has several branch shops in Bandung. Over thepast few years, the performance of its human resource was stagnant and undeveloped. Especially in theposition of cashiers and salespersons who serve the consumers. Without a good human resource performancemanagement, Company X will not be able to survive in the competition. One of the requirements of goodhuman resource management performance is a good performance appraisal system. Performance assessmentconducted by Company X is still generic, and involving the assessment criteria that are very common.Besides, this assessment is also used to measure all positions in the company. Sometimes, the assessmentprocess was very subjective, which often causes employees with different performance get the same value.This research aims to design a performance appraisal system for the position of cashier and salesperson atCompany X by using Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scales (BARS). A performance appraisal system wasdesign started from the identification of assessment criteria and the determination of the scale of assessmentstandards, and ends with a form design and assessment procedures. The study also designed a feedbacksystem, in order to improve the performance of the cashiers and salespersons at Company X. The developedassessment system then tested in Company X to see how well the assessment able to distinguish employeesperformance, where employees with different performance obtain different values. Besides these trials alsoaccomplished the objective of the proposed system, where the same employees have the same value relativelydespite assessed by different people.

Abstract

BULOG (Indonesian Bureau of Logistics) Regional Division West Java is a state-owned public company that regulates and maintains a supply of rice in order to meet the needs of all Indonesian people. Currently, BULOG distributing rice from one SubDivre warehouse to another SubDivre warehouse (point-to-point system) so shipping costs are higher because the frequency of transportation used is higher and the total distance traveled is higher. To reduce the cost of distribution, we propose consolidation model based on hub and spoke network topology. Hub and spoke system is done by determining which points become the hubs and which points become the spoke. The problem in determining the location of the hub and spoke is known as the hub location problem. In this problem, single allocation p-hub median problem is used. We use AMPL to get the solution. Various number of hubs (5,6,7) are tested and evaluated based on total shipping cost. The number of hubs which gives the minimum total shipping cost is 7. Delivery system using the hub and spoke network model can reduce the total cost of distribution by 13,94%.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a new disease that is affecting almost all of the world. Until now there has not been a single drug (vaccine) that can be used to cure it. Many attempts were made to prevent the spread of this disease but COVID-19 patients are increasing every day, although at the same time some are recovering. This study will calculate the probability of additional patients occurring over a long period of time, referred as a steady state state condition, using the Markov chain method. Nine states have been formed to represent the daily increase ranges of COVID-19 patients number. The calculation results show that the possibility of additional patient number between 1 to 91, 92 to 182, 182 to 272, 273 to 363, 364 to 454, 455 to 545, 546 to 636, 637 to 727, or greater than 728 people a day are 0.21197, 0.05644, 0.08408, 0.16337, 0.13999, 0.14512, 0.07189, 0.07695, and 0.05014, respectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proses perubahan perilaku konsumen untuk lebih ramah lingkungan. Perubahan perilaku yang diamati adalah perubahan dari penggunaan kantung plastik belanja ke penggunaan tas belanja yang dapat dipakai ulang. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk menilai upaya mahasiswa dalam mengurangi mengurangi sampah plastik. Model Stages of Changes dari Prochasca dan DiClemente (1983) digunakan untuk melihat apakah mahasiswa mengalami tahap-tahap perubahan sesuai dengan model tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelompok mahasiswa yang memilih secara sukarela untuk menggunakan tas belanja yang dapat dipakai ulang untuk menghindari penggunaan kantung plastik belanja. Sebelum terjadi perubahan perilaku, para mahasiswa mengisi kuesioner untuk menilai tingkat konsumsi mereka. Selama proses perubahan perilaku, dilakukan observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner akhir. Dari seluruh metode ini dilakukan analisis bagaimana perubahan perilaku terjadi termasuk nilai-nilai yang diterima dan diadopsi selama proses tersebut.Kata kunci: konsumsi ramah lingkungan, model stages of change, kantung plastik

Abstract

Jumlah operator layanan seluler di Indonesia yang banyak menyebabkan tingkat persaingan sangat tinggi, dan mengarah ke perang tarif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang pernah dilakukan oleh operator telekomunikasi terbesar di Indonesia didapati bahwa ada 3 segmen di pasar layanan seluler, yaitu segmen Young-Savvy yang mementingkan harga murah, segmen Established-Premium yang mementingkan pelayanan dan tidak sensitif terhadap harga, dan segmen Rational-Breadwinner yang mementingkan atribut fungsional dari layanan seluler dan masih sensitif terhadap harga.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan atribut-atribut dan kombinasi atribut yang mempengaruhi kepuasan konsumen terhadap layanan seluler di segmen Young-Savvy. Segmen ini didominasi oleh palajar dan mahasiswa dengan pengeluaran per bulan di bawah Rp100 ribu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penentuan kombinasi atribut adalah Choice-Based Conjoint Analysis. Metode ini dipilih karena terdapat efek interaksi antar atribut yang disebabkan adanya atribut harga/tarif.Atribut-atribut yang mempengaruhi pilihan terhadap layanan seluler diperoleh melalui proses wawancara dan Focus-Group Discussion (FGD) terhadap responden terpilih yang memiliki pengalaman yang cukup ekstensif dalam menggunakan layanan seluler. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan software Choice-Based Conjoint Analysis dari Sawtooth Software. Survey dilakukan secara online di mana penjangkauan responden dilakukan dengan penyebaran link melalui situs jejaring sosial dan mailing-list.Kombinasi atribut terbaik yang diperoleh adalah (1) operator: XL; (2) tarif telepon ke sesama: Rp150/min–Rp800/min; (3) tarif telepon ke operator lain: Rp900/min–Rp1400/min; (4) tarif sms ke semua operator: Rp100/sms; (5) promo gratis SMS sepanjang hari: setelah pemakaian 5 SMS/hari; (6) tarif paket data: Rp2/kb; (7) nomor kartu perdana cantik; (8) harga kartu perdana: Rp2000-Rp5000.

Abstract

Konsep eco-efficiency yaitu dengan proses produksi bersih (clean manufacturing), pengurangan penggunaan material, energi dan bahan beracun, dan upaya daur ulang dan penggunaan kembali komponen dan produk yang telah selesai digunakan perlu terus dikembangkan untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan, termasuk untuk para pelaku UKM. Namun, tidak seluruh pelaku UKM memiliki kesadaran lingkungan untuk produksinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sejauh mana pelaku UKM memiliki kesadaran dan persepsi ramah lingkungan dan mempertimbangkan pola produksi yang ramah lingkungan serta untuk menilai dampak lingkungan produk UKM. Penelitian dilakukan untuk batik (kain batik) dan sepatu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan yang diperlukan para pelaku UKM dalam meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungannya belum diperoleh, baik dari pemerintah maupun pemasok. Ada tuntutan dari konsumen yang mendorong peningkatan kesadaran akan produksi ramah lingkungan, tapi barudari sebagian kecil konsumen mancanegara. Penelitian juga menunjukka belum terbangunnya sistem yang mendukung produksi ramah lingkungan. Hasil penilaian dampak lingkungan memberikan gambaran jumlah material dan energi yang digunakan serta sampah yang dihasilkan dari proses manufaktur. Untuk produk batik, penggunaan pewarna alami mengurangi jumlah penggunaan bahan kimia dalam proses pewarnaan dan peluruhan warna.

Abstract

Seiring dengan munculnya sumber-sumber energi terbarukan, antara lain biogas dan biomassa menyebabkan melimpahnya sumber penghasil tenaga listrik, sehingga PT PLN sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri ESDM No. 4 Tahun 2012 perlu membeli lebih banyak kelebihan tenaga istrik. Kewajiban PT PLN (Persero) untuk membeli kelebihan tenaga listrik dari berbagai sumber mengakibatkan perlunya suatu evaluasi untuk menilai apakah kebijakan tersebut dapat diterapkan secara efektif. Desa Peternak Sapi Ciater sebagai salah satu sumber penghasil biogas harus mampu menghasilkan energi terbarukan untuk pemanfaatan bagi kebutuhan sehari-hari seperti memasak dan penerangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi efektivitas regulasi untuk Desa Peternak Sapi Ciater. Kegiatan yang dilakukan difokuskan pada bagaimana regulasi dapat diimplementasikan secara teknis di desa dan seberapa efektif peraturan tersebut dapat diterapkan di masyarakat melalui dukungan pemerintah daerah. Beberapa peternak sapi di Desa Ciater, Subang telah memasang reaktor biogas (atau biodigester) dengan memanfaatkan kotoran sapi untuk sumber bahan bakar memasak. Para peternak juga telah menggunakan energi (dalam aplikasi terbatas) untuk sumber penerangan. Dari hasil survey, diketahui terdapat 194 orang peternak sapi perah. Namun, dari 194 orang peternak, hanya sekitar 95 orang yang menggunakan biodigester sebagai pengolah kotoran ternak. Banyaknya peternak yang belum mengaplikasikan teknologi biogas dikarenakan banyak faktor, antara lain biaya pembelian biodigester yang mahal dan kurangnya pemahaman mengenai biogas. Pengadaan instalasi biogas ini membutuhkan dana yang cukup besar. Para peternak harus menyediakan dana sekitar Rp 4.600.000,- hingga Rp 7.000.000,- untuk membangun 1 unit instalasi biogas dengan ukuran 4m3 – 6 m3. Kurangnya pemahaman para peternak disebabkan oleh rendahnya tingkat pendidikan serta minimnya dukungan dari pihak pemerintah. Karakteristik peternak yang cocok untuk diberikan penyuluhan mengenai penggunaan biogas adalah peternak yang memiliki karakteristik jumlah anggota keluarga > 5 orang, jumlah sapi > 3 ekor, dan lama keanggotan KPSBU ≥ 5 tahun. Selain karakteristik peternak yang cocok untuk mengikuti program biogas ini, dilihat juga kelayakan pemasangan instalasi biogas dari aspek financial. Berdasarkan aspek finansial, program instalasi biogas in dianggap layak karena mampu mengurangi konsumsi atau pembelian sumber energi gas LPG untuk memasak dan sumber energi listrik PLN untuk penerangan. Selain pengurangan konsumsi sumber energi dari LPG dan PLN, instalasi biogas juga diharapkan mampu memberikan penghasilan tambahan bagi para peternak dengan penjualan pupuk kandang hasil pengolahan instalasi biogas.

Abstract

Congestion is one of problems that must be solved by the Government of Bandung City. One of the projects are improving the public transport sector. Trans Metro Bandung (TMB) is one of public transport at Bandung. People’s interest to use TMB is very low. This happens because TMB does not have a reliable bus schedule. The focus of this study is to build a TMB’s corridor 2 schedule with headway based on the current passenger condition. The headway is determined using the max load method. This study will compare the current headway target set by TMB with the headway based on the passenger arriving pattern. After that, the schedule which is made from the choosen headway will be simulated. This study shows that the current headway set by Trans Metro Bandung management is better. Simulation shows that schedule can reduce passenger average waiting time quite significant.
