Abstract

Water is essential for life, but not all people can access tap water. In fact, many people use ground water, which is not measured its purity, to supply household, places of worship, public facilities, private offices, government offices, and etc. This problem was also observed on Al-Ikhwan Mosque building Jl. Masjid RT 01 RW 08 Rancagong Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. In addition, in this place the water installation was not available. Therefore, it was feasible to carry out community service activities in that location regarding to clean water supply and installation. The method of this project were (1) drilling to make wells as clean water supply, (2) Calculating the need for clean water as the basis in determining the capacity and the type of water pump, (3) building water storage (equipped with a floating sensor as a control media turn the pump on or off automatically), and (4) piping to support distribution system of clean water from well to tap. This method was expected to meet Indonesian National Standard of clean water installation system. This project was supported by lecturers / instructors as their responsibility to practice Tridharma of higher education. Cadets/students was also involved in this project so they can demonstrate their knowledge about standard of building facilities in society.

Abstract

Changing times require people to be able to keep up with technological developments. One of technologies that plays a big role in changing people’s patterns and lifestyles are electronic technology. The development of electronic technology requires human resources who have competencies that are in accordance with the needs of society and industry. Based on observation survey had been done to Rancagong people, they haven’t understand about electronic too much. So that it’s worth to be done the community service at the location. Several subject matters are soldering practice, LED assembly: Seri and Parallel, LED Blinking Assembly, Assembly of Lighting Sensors Automatically and Amplifier Assembly. Implementation of community service involve lecturers/intructors as embodiment in college obligations. In addition, this activity also involves students in order to get experiences and lesson learned directly. Perubahan zaman menuntut masyarakat untuk dapat lebih mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Salah satu teknologi yang memegang peranan sangat besar dalam mengubah pola dan gaya hidup masyarakat adalah teknologi elektronika. Berkembangnya teknologi elektronika tentunya membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan industri. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan terhadap masyarakat Desa Rancagong, belum banyak masyarakat yang mengerti di bidang elektronika sehingga layak untuk dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di lokasi tersebut. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan beberapa hal yang akan menjadi solusi permasalahan yang ada di Desa Rancagong guna membuka peluang kewirausahaan, diantaranya pelatihan praktek penyolderan, perakitan rangkaian LED seri dan pararel, perakitan rangkaian blinking LED, perakitan rangkaian sensor cahaya otomatis dan merakit amplifier. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini melibatkan dosen/instruktur sebagai wujud dharma perguruan tinggi. Selain itu kegiatan ini juga melibatkan taruna/taruni sebagai pengalaman lapangan dan media pembelajaran secara langsung.

Abstract

Salah satu jenis alat navigasi penerbangan yaitu Non Directional Beacon (NDB). NDB beroperasi pada frekuensi rendah 175 KHz – 535 KHz yang berfungsi untuk memberikan informasi heading dan azimuth pesawat terhadap ground station NDB yang berada baik di dalam maupun di luar lingkungan bandara. NDB merk Nautel ND200S, baik pada konsol maupun monitoring masih bersifat analog dan manual, sehingga butuh akses langsung ke lokasi untuk melakukan monitoring parameter. Selain itu tidak terdapat alarm yang bersifat remote apabila terjadi gangguan pada peralatan. Dengan menerapkan karakteristik industri 4.0 berbasis industrial Internet of Things (IoT), maka dirancang system kendali dan pemantauan dengan mengadopsi sistem tersebut menggunakan mikrokontroller NodeMCU ESP8266. Perangkat ini terdiri dari hardware antara lain NodeMCU ESP8266, resistor, analog to digital converter ADS1115, Driver ULN2003, Stepper Motor BY28J yang di program pada software Arduino IDE dan Blynk App. Perangkat ini dapat dikendalikan dan dimonitor secara wireless selama terhubung dengan koneksi WiFi sesuai dengan program yang dibuat.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini membahas perancangan Antenna Tuning Unit (ATU) Simulator pada peralatan Non Directional Beacon (NDB) yang dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk praktek pengukuran parameter Forward Power, Reflected Power dan VSWR di laboratorium program studi Teknik Navigasi Udara, Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug. ATU yang dirancang menggunakan loading coil dan antenna simulator. Loading coil bersifat induktif yang terdiri dari 6 posisi course tuning, 9 posisi fine tuning, serta rotatable inner tuning yang dapat diputar 360°. Sedangkan antenna simulator terdiri dari dummy load RF 12.5 - 50 ohm dan rangkaian seri-paralel capacitor yang berfungsi sebagai penyesuai impedansi yang bersifat capacitif. Kinerja rancangan ATU Simulator disimulasikan dan diukur pada range frekuensi NDB yaitu 190 KHz – 535 KHz serta diujicoba pada peralatan NDB merk ND200S dengan frekuensi 282 KHz dengan power output 50 Watt. Hasil simulasi dan pengukuran pabrikasi menunjukkan bahwa ATU Simulator dapat bekerja pada frekuensi batas bawah 190 KHz, frekuensi tengah 360 KHz dan frekuensi atas 535 KHz dapat memenuhi standar spesifikasi perancangan VSWR ≤ 1.5 dan return loss ≤ -14 dB. Pada ujicoba pemakaian ATU Simulator pada peralatan NDB, menunjukkan hasil pengukuran nilai reflected power dibawah 5 % dengan forward powernya sehingga dapat diketahui nilai VSWR masih memenuhi persyaratan ≤ 1,5.

Abstract

Penelitian terdahulu yang relevan merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah. Riset tersebut digunakan untuk menunjang landasan teori dan fenomena pengaruh atau hubungan antar variable. Artikel ini mengulas aspek - aspek yang memengaruhi prestasi belajar, yaitu disiplin belajar, kemandirian belajar, dan motivasi belajar, dalam suatu pembahasan studi literatur teknologi pendidikan. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menyusun hipotesis pengaruh antar variabel yang berguna pada riset selanjutnya. Artikel literature review ini menghasilkan: 1) disiplin belajar memengaruhi prestasi belajar dengan sangat baik; dan 2) kemandirian belajar memengaruhi prestasi belajar dengan sangat baik; 3) motivasi belajar memengaruhi prestasi belajar dengan sangat baik.

Abstract

ABSTRAKJalan kelas IIIC memiliki struktur yang lebih sempit dan biasanya dibangun didekat permukiman penduduk untuk penggunaan pejalan kaki. Selain pejalan kaki, kendaraan motor roda dua juga dapat mempergunakaan jalan tersebut. Permasalahan mulai timbul saat kendaaraan bermotor memiliki kecepatan yang cukup tinggi sehingga membahayakan pengguna jalan lainnya khususnya pedestrian. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan X-band speed detector berbasis efek pergeseran doppler untuk kendaraan motor roda dua di jalan kelas IIIC. Detektor yang dibangun mengimplementasikan sensor HB100 dengan frekuensi 10 GHz Adapun efek pergeseran doppler diproses menggunakan Arduino. Parameter yang dijadikan perhitungan diantaranya kecepatan, pergeseran doppler, dan jarak detektor. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa sistem berhasil memiliki akurasi diatas 95% (atau error <5%) pada dengan rentang kecepatan 20-60 Km/jam.Kata kunci: detektor kecepatan; pergeseran doppler; x-band; akurasi ABSTRACTClass roads have a narrow structure and are usually built near residential areas for pedestrian use. In addition to pedestrians, two-wheeled motorbikes can also use the road. Problems arise when motorized vehicles travel at high speeds, endangering other road users, especially pedestrians. To address this issue, this research proposes an X-band speed detector based on the Doppler shift effect for motorcycles. The built detector uses the HB100 sensor with a frequency of 10 GHz, and the Doppler shift effect is processed using Arduino. The parameters used for calculations include speed, Doppler shift, and detector distance. The measurement results show that the system has an accuracy above 95% (or an error rate of less than 5%) in a speed range of 20-60 Km/hour.Keywords: speed detector, doppler shift, x-band, accuracy.

Abstract

Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR) is an important tool in monitoring air traffic, the complexity of radar equipment and the availability of radar equipment for practicum makes students and training participants less than optimal in learning radar, both theory and practice. Technological developments and increasing utilization of education are opportunities for updating learning. The purpose of this study is to find out the needs in learning radar with augmented reality by making MSSR prototypes, methods for manufacturing using the prototype method with the framework approach of the System Development Life Cycle, then for testing using black box testing, testing the function of the prototype and the results obtained. it is found that the function of the prototype is in accordance with the requirements document required in the implementation of radar education.

Abstract

In this research, a triangular patch microstrip antenna with a back-to-back structure technique has been designed to obtain Bidirectional radiation patterns operating at a frequency of ADSB 1090 MHz. The back-to-back structure technique using 2 substrate layers stacked together to form a single microstrip antenna component. As a result, the antenna has 2 patches on both sides of the microstrip, and the feedline is located between the 2 substrate layers. This antenna was designed using simulation software with an FR-4 substrate material. The parameter values obtained from the simulation at a frequency of 1090 MHz are: Return loss -15.4 dB, VSWR 1.4, Bandwidth 17.2 MHz, and Impedance 46.02 Ω.
