Abstract

The study aims to determine the relationship between positive thinkingwith self-esteem in women with premenopausal period. Subjects werepremenopausal women who ages between 40-50 years old. The studyused quantitative methods. This study used scale to get the data, namelyScale Positive Thinking and Self-Esteem Scale. The result showed asignificant coefficient correlation with r = 0.465. Positive thinking has about21.6% explaining effect on the dependent variables and 78.4% influencesby other factors. Majority participants in this study have medium level ofesteem and positive thinking. Based on the result study, it can be concludedthat there was a significant relationship between positive thinking with self-esteem in women who experienced a period of premenopausal. The higherpositive thinking conducted by participant the higher their self-esteem, andvice versa.

Abstract

This research purpose was to test the difference of student creativity based on level of mother´s education. The subjects were students of SMPN especially the class 2E and the class 2F. The test was used were the Verbal Creativity Test and the Figural Creativity Test. The analysis of the data that was used in this research was t-test to reveal whether having the difference of student creativity based on level of mother´s education. Result of the analysis t-test was received by the value of 0.868 (p 0.05). This showed that there is no difference of student creativity based on level of mother education on student of SMPN.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan perencanaan karir untukmeningkatkan kejelasan arah pilihan bidang minat karir pada mahasiswa semester III FakultasPsikologi. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pre test post test controlgroup design. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah skala yang dikenakan 3kali pada subyek, yaitu selama pre test (sebelum pelatihan), post test 1 (sesudah pelatihan)dan post test 2 (2 minggu setelah pelatihan). Selain itu dilakukan juga analisis kualitataifterhadap hasil FGD dan lembar wawasan karir (pre test), hasil evaluasi pelatihan dan hasilobservasi pelatihan (post test 1) serta hasil in depth interview (post test 2).Subyek penelitian adalah 44 mahasiswa semester III Fakultas Psikologi UniversitasAhmad Dahlan Yogyakarta, yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu 22 orang anggota kelompokeksperimen dan 22 orang anggota kelompok kontrol.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to find out (1) the relation betweenself efficacy, family social support and self regulated learning (2) the relationbetween self efficacy and self regulated learning (3) the relation betweenfamily social support and self regulated learning. The populations of thestudy were students of 8th grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah. Thetechnique sampling was cluster random sampling. The study used SelfEfficacy Scale, Family Social Support Scale and Self Regulated LearningScale to collect data about self efficacy, family social support and selfregulated learning. The data were analized by regression analysis. Theresults show that (1) there is very significantly positive correlation betweenself efficacy, family social support and self efficacy (r=0,837, p=0,000),(2) there is very significantly positive correlation between self efficacy andself regulated learning (r=0, 836, p=0,000), (3) there is very significantlypositive correlation between family social support and self regulated learning(r=0,418, p=0,002).

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan intense prososial antara siswa Sekolah MenengahUmum Negri (SMUN) dan siswa Madrasah Aliyah Negri (MAN) di Yogyakarta, perbedaan antaraswa pria dan siswa wanita secara keseluruhan serta siswa pria dan siswa wanita pada masing-masing sekolah. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 214 orang siswa Sekolah Menengah Umum Negri (SMUN) Yogyakarta dan siswa Madrasah Aliyah Negri I (MAN I) Yogyakarta, yang terdiri dari 42 siswarang siswa pria dan 61 orang siswa wanita SMUN 6 serta 49 0rang siswa pria dan 62 orang siswaanita MAN I. Metode peengumpulan data menggunakan Skala Intensi Prososial.

Abstract

Kegiatan konseling kelompok dilakukan untuk siswa putri kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Pleret, SMP Muhammadiyah Pleret dan SMP Muhamamdiyah Imogiri,Bantul. Sebelum dilakukan konseling kelompok dilakukan seleksi dengan menggunakan Skala Kompetensi Sosial. Peserta konseling kelompok adalah siswa putri yang memiliki skor kompetensi sosial yang rendah.Konseling kelompok di SMP Muhammadiyah Imogiri dilakukan pada tanggal 25 dan 26 Maret 2018 yang melibatkan 7 orang siswa dalam 1 kelompok. Konseling kelompok di SMP Muhammadiyah Pleret dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 dan 28 Maret 2018 yang melibatkan 7 orang siswa dalam 1 kelompok. Konseling kelompok di SMP MBS Pleret dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 dan 30 Maret 2018 yang melibatkan 20 orang siswa dalam 3 kelompok. Konseling kelompok terdiri dari sesi pembentukan kelompok, tahap involvement, tahap transisi, tahap terapi dan tahap akhir.Hasil evaluasi dengan menggunakan Skala Kompetensi Sosial menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta mengalami peningkatan dalam kompetensi sosial setelah mengikuti kegiatan konseling kelompok. Selain itu setelah mengikuti konseling kelompok para siswa merasa lega saat mengungkapkan permasalahannya, mampu mengenali dan mengekspresikan emosinya serta mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang cara mengelola emosi, cara mengenali emosi diri serta bersikap asertif.Kesimpulan dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan adalah konseling kelompok mampu meningkatkan kompetensi sosial pada siswa putri. Kata kunci : konseling kelompok, siswa putri  GROUP COUNSELING  FOR  SEVEN GRADE FEMALE STUDENTS OFSMP MBS PLERET, SMP MUHAMMADIYAH PLERETAND SMP MUHAMMADIYAH IMOGIRI  Alfi Purnamasari, Erlina Listyanti Widuri, Siti MulyaniFakultas Psikologi Universitas Ahmad Dahlan alfi_purnamasari@yahoo.com Group counseling activities were conducted for seventh grade female students of Pleret Middle School Muhammadiyah Boarding (MBS), Muhammadiyah Pleret Middle School and Imogiri Muhamamdiyah Middle School, Bantul. Before group counseling is carried out selection by using the Social Competency Scale. Participants in group counseling were female students who had low social competency scores.Group counseling at Muhammadiyah Middle School Imogiri was conducted on March 25 and 26 in 2018 involving 7 students in 1 group. Group counseling at Muhammadiyah Middle School Pleret was held on March 27 and 28 in 2018 which involved 7 students in 1 group. Group counseling at the MBS Pleret Middle School was held on March 29 and 30 in 2018 which involved 20 students in 3 groups. Group counseling consists of group formation sessions, involvement stage, transition phase, therapy stage and final stage.The evaluation results using the Social Competence Scale showed that most participants experienced an increase in social competence after participating in group counseling activities. In addition, after following the counseling the groups of students were relieved when expressing their problems, being able to recognize and express their emotions and gain knowledge about how to manage emotions, how to recognize emotions and be assertive.The conclusion of the activities that have been carried out is group counseling capable of increasing social competence in female students. Keywords: group counseling, female students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara school well-being dan dukungan sosial dengan kecenderungan perundungan di Pesantren.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data analisis regresi berganda. Analisis data akan dilakukan dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) terdapat hubungan yang siginifikan antara school well-being dan dukungan sosial dengan kecenderungan perundungan dengan koefisien regresi (R) sebesar 0,383 dan p=0,013 (p<0,05). (2) Terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara school well-being dengan kecenderungan perundungan dengan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar -0,298 dan p=0,024 (p<0,05). (3) Tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kecenderungan perundungan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada hipotesis mayor menunjukan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara school well-being dan dukungan sosial dengan kecenderungan perundungan. Pada hipotesis minor pertama menunjukan ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara school well-being dengan kecenderungan perundungan dan pada hipotesis minor kedua menunjukan tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kecenderungan perundungan. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan variabel school well-being dan variabel dukungan sosial dalam mempengaruhi variabel tergantung kecenderungan perundungan adalah sebesar 14,7%.Bullying cases often attract the attention of the education world, especially in the realm of Islamic boarding schools, which have complex patterns of interaction between students and their environment. This study aims to determine school well-being and social support with bullying tendencies in Islamic boarding schools. The research method in this study is the data analysis technique of multiple regression analysis. The results showed: (1) There was a significant relationship between school well-being and social support with bullying tendencies, the regression coefficient (R) was 0.383 and p=0.013 (p<0.05). (2) There is a significant negative relationship between school well-being and bullying tendencies with a correlation coefficient (r) of -0.298 and p=0.024 (p<0.05). (3) There is no relationship between social support and bullying tendencies. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the major hypothesis shows that there is a significant relationship between school well-being and social support with bullying tendencies. The first minor hypothesis shows that there is a significant negative relationship between school well-being and bullying tendencies and the second minor hypothesis shows that there is no relationship between social support and bullying tendencies. The effective contribution given by the school well-being variable and the social support variable in influencing the dependent variable on bullying tendencies is 14.7%.

Abstract

Pada usia lanjut, individu mengalami perubahan pada seluruh aspek perkembangan. Salah satu yang berpengaruh pada perkembangan psikososial lanjut usia adalah integritas ego. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan optimisme terhadap integritas ego pada lanjut usia. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 61 orang yang berusia lebih dari 60 tahun dan berdomisili di kota Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode purposive sampl ing. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala Optimisme, skala Dukungan Sosial, dan skala Integritas Ego. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimisme dan dukungan sosial secara bersama-sama akan memengaruhi integritas ego pada lansia, optimisme juga memil iki pengaruh yang positif terhadap integritas ego, namun dukungan sosial tidak memberikan dampak apapun terhadap integritas ego apabila tidak disertai dengan optimisme yang tinggi.Kata Kunci: dukungan sosial, integritas ego, lansia, optimismeThe Role of Optimism and Social Support in Ego Integrity among ElderlyAbstract. In elderly phase, individuals experience changes in all aspects of development that affect psychosocial development, one of them is ego integrity. The study aims to determine the relationship between social support and optimism on ego integrity among elderly. The subjects were 61 people over 60 years old lives in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The instruments used were Optimism scale, Social Support scale, and Ego Integrity scale. The data analysis technique used was regression analysis techniques. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the differences of prosocial intention between students of Sekolah Menengah Umum Negeri (SMUN) and students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) in Yogyakarta, between male students and female students in general, and between female studets and male students in each school. The total subjects of the research were 214 students of Sekolah Menengah Umum Negeri 6 (SMUN 6) and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri I (MAN I) Yogyakarta. The students of SMUN 6 consisted of 42 Female sudents and 61 male students, while the students of MAN I consisted of 49 female students and 62 male students. Prosocial Intention Scale was used as data collecting method. The results show that there is no difference of prosocial behavior between the students of SMUN and the students of MAN (F=1.116, p>0.05, SMUN average 98.86, MAN average 97.73), there is no differences of prosocial behavior between female students and male students in general (F=1.077;p>0.05; the female students average 98.79, the male students average 97.76), there is no differences of prosocial behavior between male students of SMUN and MAN (t=0.380;p>0.05; the male students of SMUN average 97.35, the male students of MAN average 98.05), there is no differences of prosocial behavior between female students of SMUN and MAN (=-1.870: p>0.05; the female students of SMUN average 100.05 and the female students of MAN 97.51).

Abstract

Social Support and Subjective Well-Being on Retired TNI OfficersThis study examined the relationship between social support and the subjective well-being among retired of the Indonesian Air Force. Participants of this study were 71 retirees who are members of the Indonesian Air Force Retired Union (PPAU: Perhimpunan Purnawirawan Angkatan Udara), selected using incidental sampling. Data collected using the Subjective Well-Being scale and Social Support Scale and analyzed using Product Moment. The result showed that there was a positive relationship between social support and subjective well-being. It can be concluded that higher social support is followed by higher subjective well-being and vice versa. The social support gave 63.04% effective contribution to the subjective well-being while the rest 36.96% is determined by other factors.
