Abstract

  Pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan agar meningkatkan pengetahuan  bagi masyarakat desa Marga Sakti Kecamatan Padang Jaya Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara perihal budaya hidup sehat, dengan adanya dampak dari corona virus 19 yang telah mewabah kepenjuru dunia. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan cara ceramah dengan pendampingan bersama narasumber yang berkopetensi yaitu dokter umum yang bertugas sebagai anggota satgas covid dilingkungan rumah sakit rafflesia Bengkulu dan tim dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui penguatan prilaku sosial dalam berinteraksi sehari-hari. Hasil pengabdian diketahui bahwa kesadaran yang tidak berkelanjutan atau konsisten dari masyarakat sehingga budaya menggunakan protokol kesehatan masih dijalankan tidak sesui kebijakan pemerintah yang telah disosialisasikan sehingga peran komunikasi dan interaksi yang intensif dilakukan dengan selalu melakukan sosialisasi dalam saling mengingatkan tatkala tidak menggunakan masker, mencuci tangan dengan air sabun serta menjaga jarak yang wajib dilakukan, diakhir kegiatan tim PPM memberikan keterampilan membuat masker instan.

Abstract

Research aims to analyze the factors that cause the existence of BAKUKE (Barongan KudaKepang) Javanese art in the community that is not a traditional javanese territory. The approach usedin research is qualitative descriptive with informant determination techniques that are done purposivesampling. The data collection techniques used are observation, in-depth interviews and Focus GroupDiscussion, and documentation. The data obtained is then reduced, sorted and recorded and verified toobtain the validity of the data in order to answer the research formulation. Research producesinformation that 'Candra Kirana' is the art of Barongan Kuda Kepang Jawa Tribe in Dusun Kebun Ubican exist in areas that are not Java because (1) function factors, as a medium of entertainment in theeyes of the public; (2) Cultural inheritance value factors attached to the community of players whohave Javanese blood; (3) Myth factors, in the form of treatment myths in people who experiencesupernatural diseases, awake from invisible creatures, prohibitions when watching shows usingumbrellas, watching from the top of fences or trees, doing 'suits' and myths for cultural heirs such as ifcultural heritage is not lived it will get a 'catastrophe'.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to identify and analyze the socio-political factors behind the high voter toward the Election of the Governor and Vice Governor of Bengkulu in 2020. This research was a mixed research between quantitative and qualitative method. Using the purposive sampling technique with informants who represent various elements directly related to the Pilkada (Local Distric Heads Election) of Governor and Vice Governor which were held simultaneously in Indonesia. on December 9, 2020. Information collection techniques were carried out using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and in-depth interviews. The results of the study were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique by doing reduction, display, and triangulation. The results of the study showed that there were several socio-politic factors that had a direct contribution to the high voter toward the Election of the Governor and Vice Governor of Bengkulu Province in 2020 (77.68 percent). These factors were transactional politics (money politics), the role of the media, the role of General Election Commission (Komisi Pemilihan Umum-KPU) and General Election Supervisory Agency (Badan Pengawas Pemilu-Bawaslu), the role of candidates and the pattern of visiting campaigns. The conclusion of the study is that there is no single factor that dominantly affects voter participation in the Bengkulu Governor and Vice Governor Elections. Voter participation is a product of the interdependence of various social and political factors.
