Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis tanggapan buruh wanita pada industri garmen terhadap Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) yang dilihat dari 4 aspek yaitu (1) Komitmen pihak perusahaan, (2) Ketersediaan dukungan tentang Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) yang meliputi tempat lokasi kerja, mesin dan perlengkapan alat kerja yang digunakan, kondisi tempat kerja serta pemeriksaan kesehatan dan bahan-bahan kimia, (3) Sistem kontrol perusahaan, dan (4) Kesadaran pekerja. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling, dimana pengambilan sampel dengan memilih responden yang kebetulan dijumpai. Kriteria pengambilan sampel dalam penselitian ini adalah buruh wanita yang bekerja pada industri garmen di wilayah Karang Jati, Ungaran, Jawa Tengah. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tanggapan buruh wanita terhadap 4 (empat) aspek penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) berupa tanggapan buruh wanita terhadap komitmen perusahaan pada penerapan K3 dan kesadaran pekerja masuk dalam kategori buruk, sedangkan tanggapan buruh wanita terhadap ketersediaan dukungan K3 terhadap lokasi tempat kerja, mesin dan perlengkapan alat kerja, pemeriksaan kesehatan dan bahan-bahan kimia masuk dalam kategori cukup baik..Kata Kunci: K3, komitmen perusahaan, buruh wanita

Abstract

Job rotation refers to the rotation of employees in the work environment which has the potential lowering the employee motivation. However, it has several dimensions related to motivation which encourage the employees to do positive things for the organization. This study contributes to the literature explaining the benefit of job rotation which fosters the perspective of promotion within the scope of tour of duty and tour of area. The job rotation has been commonly applied to maintain the police institution’s sustainability and played a role as a promotion for future employees’ career. Further, the job rotation also influences the employees to have a high motivation to work and build good perspectives which simultaneously helps them perform well at work. This research is based on a case study which involved 9 informants as the primary data. The data was analyzed in a qualitative manner using NVivo 12 plus version 2019. The results show that the dimensions of job rotation had supported increasing the motivation to work in the Indonesian National Police, especially in Mempawah, West Kalimantan. Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze how to develop human resource management (HRM) practices that create organizational resilience and investigate factors influencing it. This study was done in a qualitative-descriptive manner. Key informants participated in this study – selected based on positions at work and their length of work relevant to the research problems – included HR Manager, HR Coordinator, and Training Manager Assistant of Hotel Ciputra Semarang. The data was collected through in-depth interviews. To examine the data credibility, a triangulation process to the key informants was done. The data was analyzed using a technique proposed by Miles and Hubberman consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This study finds that there are 4 HRM practices that can support the organizational resilience, including selective and measurable recruitment, employee compensation, employee training and development, and employee engagement. Further, there are also 4 factors influencing the organizational resilience, namely healthy finance (reserve fund), good employee performance, leadership, and organizational experience.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the development model of BKSP (Coordinating Board ofProfessional Certification) as an intermediary institution in the creation of infrastructurecompetence of human resources in Central Java. Availability of infrastructure inestablishing certificate of competency is the main requirement to conduct a competencybased assessment that expected to increase the competitiveness of Indonesia in the ASEANsingle market community. As a descriptive qualitative research, data used are primarydata obtained from 40 interviewees in Central Java in 2010. The resulting model in thestudy showed a coordination role in combining the stakeholders in a concerted effort toincrease the number of certified workers.Keywords: competency based assessment, certificate of competency, human resources

Abstract

The training for workplace trainers in apprenticeship is at the heart of our aim of the community service. Training activities were carried out in Semarang and Solo in 2020. The training utilized the principle of andragogy and gaining success with 50 certified workplace trainers. The primary challenging part in conducted training for workplace trainers was about the degree of quantity and quality of the portfolio as competencies evidence. Applying the andragogy principle in this training with ice-breaking games, controlling participants' progress portfolio are among the success factors. The key performance indicator for successful training is based on the results of an assessment competency that provides competent recommendations for all training participants. This article also reveals the use of a model that applies creative andragogy to competency-based training that emphasizes the individual's ability to absorb learning.

Abstract

Technological developments make it easier for employees to carry out work, including archive management employees. Archives undergo changes and developments in electronic form. The development of supporting technology for electronic archive management. This study aims to analyze the use of electronic records to support the effectiveness of employee performance and the factors that support employee performance. This qualitative research uses a descriptive approach. The technique used to collect data is interviews. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. This study uses three stages of data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The research subject is the selected resource person, an employee with the position of Customs and Excise Inspector. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the use of electronic archives supports employee performance. The benefits of using electronic archives include easy and fast use, safe, and time-saving. There are four factors supporting employee performance: the work environment, ability, motivation, and adequate facilities. Factors supporting employee performance in using electronic records are leaders who always encourage employees to learn and develop themselves and a comfortable work environment for employees, human resource capabilities, and adequate facilities and equipment provided by the institution.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how to overcome the employee skill mismatch that works with the company. The research was conducted at the hotel because of the high of its business competition and the gap between the number of hospitality education institutions and the number of hotels in operation that had consequences for the occurrence of skill mismatch. The findings of a previous study of skill mismatch concluded that there was a disruption in competitiveness and productivity in companies using employees with skills and education gaps. Using a multi-case study technique, data collection was carried out in five-star hotels, three-star hotels and one-month period June-August 2018 in Semarang. The results of the study show that the effort to overcome the mismatch skill in the company is to conduct employee learning. There are differences in the learning process of employees in overcoming skill mismatch, where the higher the star classification in the hotel business the higher the involvement of the company. In other words, the smaller the classification of hotel stars, the individual efforts of employees to learn to overcome the mismatch skill is also greater. Based on these findings, this study uses the learning organization theory as a frame of mind and analysis.

Abstract

Turnover intention is a subjective perception of employees to quit their current job with the aim of looking for other opportunities. Turnover intention must be considered so that it does not happen to the company. Factors that cause turnover intention to occur are job insecurity and work stress which are still not paid attention to by the company. This study aims to partially examine the effect of job insecurity and job stress on turnover intention of Gojek drivers in Salatiga. This research was conducted on 40 Gojek drivers. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly to Gojek drivers in Salatiga. The results of the study found that job insecurity had no effect on turnover intention but job stress had a significant effect on turnover intention. This is because the job insecurity experienced by the driver can be controlled properly so that it helps the driver in dealing with work stress and can minimize turnover intention.

Abstract

Dilema etik merupakan situasi yang melibatkan konflik nilai-nilai atau kepercayaan tentang tindakan apa yang benar atau yang terbaik namun terkendala oleh aturan-aturan atau hukum yang ada dan cenderung mempengaruhi sikap profesional perawat dalam bekerja sehingga mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan keperawatan. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk menguji bagaimana pengaruh profesionalisme perawat terhadap kualitas pelayanan keperawatan dan bagaimana pengaruh profesionalisme perawat terhadap kualitas pelayanan keperawatan dimoderasi dilema etik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan sampel 100 responden dari tenaga keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Salatiga yang merupakan perawat pelaksana di ruang bangsal. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan regresi moderasi dengan SPSS versi 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme perawat berpengaruh positif terhadap kualitas pelayanan keperawatan, sedangkan dilema etik mengubah pengaruh profesionalisme perawat menurunkan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan
