Abstract

This paper explores the wasathiyah approach to quality management in Islamic educational institutions. The research uses library research methods to build an established scientific discourse. The study results show that in the management of Islamic educational institutions, which includes input, process, and output, it is necessary to apply the Wasathiyah approach. The implication of this research is to provide the principle of balance in managing the quality of Islamic education following the values in wasathiyah so that educational institutions can remain grounded in the values of balance (wasath). Currently, the secularization of Islamic educational institutions has led to the loss of the goals of Islamic education. Therefore, the Wasathiyah approach to managing education can maintain the institution's balance.

Abstract

This paper is structured and aims, first, to describe the implementation of Islamic Religious Education in high schools in the Pangkalpinang City, and second, to reveal the implications of the implementation of Islamic religious education in an effort to anticipate the strengthening of religious radicalism in high school students in the Pangkal Pinang City. The results can be explained as follows: 1) the implementation of Islamic religious education in high schools in the Pangkalpinang City generally aims to increase knowledge, convey the teachings and rules of Islamic religion, change morals and foster students according to religious rules and improve practices of worship that have not been good. In terms of material, the books used to refer to books published by the Ministry of Education and Culture and some teachers also complete them with other published books. As for the material presented, the teacher occasionally links, for example, the theory of Islamic education with cultural traditions. 2) Implications of the implementation of Islamic religious education in terms of objectives namely how to minimize the strengthening of the understanding of religious radicalism by studying and applying the values ​​of togetherness, goodness, and general values ​​between religions or certain groups; overall the contents of the study references are from official sources. On the other hand, linking Islamic religious education materials with the culture of society is something that needs to be done to anticipate the spread of religious radicalism in schools; from the method side, there is a reduction in indoctrination patterns.

Abstract

Abstract Pesantren are often associated with backwardness and traditionalism in everything: facilities, technology, learning methods, and even the curriculum. For now, it seems like the traditional term for pesantren is no longer relevant enough. The pace of movement in the era of renewal marked by the rapid development of technology has demanded pesantren to make adjustments. However, on the one hand, when viewed from the direction of change, the reform efforts pursued by pesantren are not to erase the old tradition, but merely to add something new so that the old tradition and conditions can be maintained while accepting the presence of a new one. On the other hand, the reform efforts undertaken by pesantren have implications for the fact that the typical values of the pesantren are fading away. Abstrak Pesantren seringkali diasosiasikan dengan keterbelakangan dan tradisional dalam segala hal: fasilitas, teknologi, metode pembelajaran, dan bahkan kurikulumnya. Untuk saat ini, sepertinya istilah tradisional untuk pesantren, sudah tidak lagi cukup relevan. Laju gerak pembaharuan zaman yang ditandai dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi telah menuntut pesantren untuk melakukan penyesuaian diri. Kendatipun demikian, di satu sisi, jika dilihat dari arah perubahan, upaya pembaharuan yang ditempuh pesantren tidaklah untuk menghapus tradisi yang lama, tetapi sekadar menambah dengan sesuatu yang baru sehingga tradisi maupun kondisi yang lama bisa dipertahankan sambil menerima kehadiran yang baru. Di sisi yang lain, upaya pembaharuan yang dilakukan pesantren ternyata berimplikasi pada kenyataan akan semakin pudarnya nilai-nilai khas yang dimiliki oleh pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) Implementation of the habit of Dhuha prayer at MTs Al-Islam Kemuja, 2) How is the effort to form the religious character of students through the habit of Dhuha prayer at MTs Al-Islam Kemuja. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data and data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and decision making. The results of the study show that: 1) the implementation of the habituation of the Dhuha prayer at MTs Al-Islam Kemuja consists of aspects: a) discipline in carrying out the Duha prayer b) the consistency of the implementation of the Duha prayer c) reward and punishmant d) the Duha prayer is performed without coercion. 2) Efforts to form the religious character of students through the habit of Duha prayer can be carried out in the following ways: a) the gradual rule, namely the formation of the religious character of students is carried out in stages, b) The principle of continuity, namely the formation of the religious character of students is carried out continuously, c) The rule of momentum, namely the formation of the religious character of students is carried out with a moment such as the habituation of Duha prayer as a function/exercise in forming the religious character of students, d) The principle of intrinsic motivation, namely the formation of the religious character of students is carried out on the intention of the students themselves, e) The rule mentoring, namely the formation of religious character is carried out by supervision / mentors from other people. And the results obtained from the formation of the religious character of students through the habit of praying dhuha are students becoming accustomed to praying, one of which is praying dhuha regularly, piety and faith in Allah SWT are increasing, being more religious, having good character/morals, and becoming personal. who are Muslims? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Pelaksanaan pembiasaan shalat Dhuha di MTs Al-Islam Kemuja, 2) Bagaimana upaya pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik melalui pembiasaan shalat dhuha di MTs Al-Islam Kemuja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dan sumber data yang digunakan sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan keputusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pelaksanaan pembiasaan shalat Dhuha di MTs Al-Islam Kemuja terdiri dari aspek: a) kedisiplinan dalam melaksanakan shalat dhuha b) konsistensi pelaksanaan shalat dhuha c) reward and punishmant d) shalat dhuha dilakukan tanpa paksaan. 2) Upaya pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik melalui pembiasaan shalat dhuha dapat dilakukan dengan cara yaitu: a) kaidah kebertahapan yaitu pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik dilakukan secara bertahap, b) Kaidah kesinambungan yaitu pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik dilakukan secara terus-menerus, c) Kaidah momentum yaitu pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik dilakukan dengan suatu momen seperti kegiatan pembiasaan shalat dhuha sebgai fungsi/ latihan dalam membentuk karakter religius peserta didik, d) Kaidah motivasi instrinsik yaitu pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik dilakukan atas niat peserta didik itu sendiri, e) Kaidah pembimbingan yaitu pembentukan karakter religius dilakukan oleh pengawasan/ pembimbing dari orang lain. Dan hasil yang diperoleh dari pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik melalui pembiasaan shalat dhuha ialah peserta didik menjadi terbiasa mengerjakan shalat salah satunya shalat dhuha secara rutin, ketakwaan dan keimanan kepada Allah SWT semakin meningkat, lebih agamis, memiliki sifat/akhlak yang bagus, dan menjadi pribadi yang muslim.
