Abstract

The student competence consists of knowledge, attitudes and skills. Competence is expexted to be reached after learning. In fact, the achievement of competence is not optimal. One of the causes is the lack of the student’s motivation. The solution of this problem is by using integrated student worksheetof character values in the ICARE model. It is expected to engender the motivation of learning as well as the change of the student’s attitude to be better. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the use of LKS integrated character values in the ICARE model towards the competence of science students grade VIIat SMPN 35.This type of research was quasi experiment using randomized control group only design. The population of this research were all the students grade VII at SMPN 35  Padangwhich were registered in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The technique of purposive sampling was used to collect the sample. The research data consist of knowledge, spiritual attitudes, social attitudes and skills.The collected data were analized by using Chi Square at significance level of 0.05 and dk 1. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the using of integrated student worksheet of character values in the ICARE model gives means influence toward to the competence of science students grade VII at SMPN 35 Padang.

Abstract

This study is based on the background that in physics learning teaching materials in the form of Student’s Worksheet (LKPD) is necessary, so that learning is not inclined to the teacher-centered. In addition, the students’ competence is still low in terms of levels of cognitive processes can be improved through the use of LKPD. This study aims to produce the products such as oriented LKPD complexity of content and cognitive processes in the material vectors, also to know the quality of LKPD terms of validity and practicality. This study is the research and development using the 4D model. This model consists of 4 stages, such as define stage, design stage, develop stage, and disseminate stage. However, in this study the 4D model reduced to 3D, so the study was only done to develop stage. The subjects of the study consist of three lecturers from the Physics Department, FMIPA UNP as a validators and 2 Physics teachers SMAN 10 Padang as validators and practitioners. Data were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the research that has been conducted, it was resulted the LKPD oriented complexity of content and cognitive processes. Product research is categorized as very valid aspects LKPD requirements, aspects of the complexity of the content in LKPD, aspects of the complexity level of cognitive processes in LKPD, and aspects of learning model components the guided inquiry in LKPD with an average values of 81.8. Product research is also categorized as very practical by teachers with average values of 84.6 from the aspect of completeness, scope, presentation, benefits, and opportunities implementation of LKPD

Abstract

The physic competence achievement of SMA Negeri 7 Padang students still does not meet the expectation. The use of LKPD oriented on Bloom’s taxonomy revision with the implementation of scientific approach is believed to be effective to reach the expected physic competence of the students. This research is aimed to analyze the effect of using LKPD oriented on Bloom’s taxonomy revision with the implementation of scientific approach setting toward physic competence achievement of grade X students of SMA Negeri 7 Padang.Type of research is quasi experiment with Posttest Only Control Group Design. The study population was all students of class X MIA at SMAN 7 Padang enrolled in the Academic Year 2016/2017. Sampling was done by cluster sampling technique. Samples were class X MIA 1 as the control class and class X MIA 4 as an experimental class with a number of sample members of each class is 31 people. This research data includes data competence of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Data were analyzed using the equality test two averages (t test), simple linear regression and correlation tests on the real level of 0.05 to the competence of knowledge, using the equality test two averages (t test) for competency skills, attitude and competencies using trend graphs change in attitude.The results of data analysis the average attainment of experimental class attitude at 79.15 is higher than the average grade of control that is equal to 77.2. On average the attainment of knowledge of the experimental class of 79 is higher than the average grade control is 75. The average achievement experimental class skill competencies of 83.3 is higher than the average grade of control that is 77.5. The test results of data analysis concluded that the LKPD oriented on Bloom’s taxonomy revision  in setting the scientific approach can improve the competence of Physics students of class X SMAN 7 Padang. Great influence exerted LKPD oriented on Bloom’s taxonomy revision to the attainment of knowledge of students by 72.25%.

Abstract

Scientific approach and integration of caracter value was important in physics learning. Both of them can improve the holistic competencies students including attitude, knowledge, and skills. In reality, used of scientific approach in physic learning was low with average value was 60%. Applying of caracter value in learning process was less with average value was 57%. One of the solution was to design a student worksheet of scientific approach and integrared caracter value  to student of ten class.The purpose of this study were to produce student worksheet with saintific approach and to determine the validity of student worksheet. This Research and Development (R&D). The step wasknowing the potency and problem,data collection,design, validation, and revision product.  Instrument were used in this research validation sheet.Data analysisconsist of descriptive statistic graph method. The were two main research result. First, product was student worksheet. Second, student worksheet was very valid with average value was 85,96

Abstract

Learning based on curriculum 2013 is still not applied by teachers and teachers has not yet varied the learning model used so as to impact on low learning outcomes. The study aims to determine how the implementation of the Learning Inquiry Model is assisted by the Pictorial method of Riddle with the learning outcomes of students ' physics. This type of research is a pseudo-experimental study with the design of Posttest Only Control Group Design. A knowledge aspect assessment instrument in the form of posttest and skill aspect. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical techniques. Testing homogeneity obtained by the results that both classes have the value of GIS homogeneity to the results of learning teaching Inkuiri assisted by Pictorial method Riddle of 0.422 with significance value 0.05. So the distributed research data is normal. The hypothesis test results were obtained a probability value of 0.000 so that H0 was rejected and H1 received study of the students ' arch motion in an experimental class using the learning Inquisitors guided by the aid of a higher riddle pictorial method Compared to the control class that uses the inquiry learning model is guided. The average grade of an experiment class is 80.17 and the average value of the control class is 75.57. It can therefore be concluded that there is a significant influence on the application of learning model of the Inquisies guided by a method of pictorial riddle towards the improvement of physics competence of grade X students at SMAN 1 Sutera.

Abstract

The nature of Physics is a science that studies contextual and authentic natural phenomena. However, the fact shows the ability of students in to critically, the motivation, and the problem-solving ability are still in low category. These problems can be solved by many ways, one of them integrating earthquake material into Physics material and also by applying SSCS Problem Solving in learning process. All of these are provided interestingly as a teaching material in a form of LKS (Student Worksheet). The integration of earthquake material is intended to form a character of disaster preparedness to students. The purposes of this research are: 1) To investigate the influence of LKS that integrates earthquake material, 2) To investigate the contribution of LKS that integrates earthquake material, 3) To investigate the influence of SSCS Problem Solving model toward Physics competencies in Class XI of SMAN 4 Padang. It is a Quasy-Experiment research with  Randomized Subjects Post Test Only Control Group Design. The population of the research is all of Class XI MIA registered at 2015/2016 year of study. The technique of sampling is done by using Purposive Sampling in which Class XI MIA 1 as the experimental class and X1MIA 2 as the control class. The data analysis in this research used test of normality; homogeneity; the similarity of two average in real stage 0,05; linear regression test; and the results of these research are 1) There’s an increase on student’s competence as the result of integrating  earthquake into Physic’s leraning material; 2) The contribution of LKS that integrated earthquake material to influence the student’s competency affective 63.62%, 81.02% to knowledge, and skill 42.33% ; 3) There are influence of SSCS Problem Solving model toward Physics competencies of Class IX of SMAN 4

Abstract

West Sumatra is one of the regions is prone to earthquakes because it the positions of an active seductions zone between the Indo-Australian plate and the Eurasian Plate is along the Sumatra fault. The maximum ground acceleration is one of the important parameters, because it describes the strength of  earthquake vibration ever  happened. Therefore, it is necessary to do measurement and calculation of ground acceleration caused by earthquakes. By knowing the maximum ground acceleration values  in an area, we can  know  which area is prone to earthquakes. Data were analyzed by an earthquake scenario is created, and the epicenter 1.00o LS 99.00o BT, M = 8.8 magnitude and a depth of 30 km. Formulation of Mcguire (1963) and Donovan (1973) is used to find the value of the maximum ground acceleration and Murphy O'Brein empirical formula to find the value of intensity. The maximum ground acceleration value for each county / city in West Sumatra is calculated by using the position of the district / city as a reference point. The results of data processing maps obtained Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) and the intensity of the earthquake. The analysis showed that the value of the PGA and the greatest intensity being Pariaman with a value PGA 177.59 gal and has a value of 7.67 MMI intensity. Then the value of the maximum ground acceleration both owned by the  Mentawai Islands with 176.72 gal and intensity value is 7.66 MMI.

Abstract

West Sumatra has a high level of seismicity so as often rocked by significant earthquakes and caused damage. The earthquake is usually preceded by symptoms such as occurrence of a seismic Quiescence phenomenon. This phenomenon can be seen by observing seismic rate changes in a region. The observation used data from NEIC / USGS and ISC with time period from 22nd of September 1918 to 31st of October 2015. The method used to analyze the seismic rate changes is the z-value method. The study area is divided into several grids. Z-value of each grid is counted and will be spatially distributed so seismic rate change of West Sumatra can be analyzed. This analysis will show presence or absence of seismic Quiescence phenomenon before earthquake in West Sumatera. The observation result showed that there is a certain preceding phenomenon before the significant earthquake in 1943 (7.8 SR) and 2007 (7.8 SR) in West Sumatra. This phenomenon called seismic Quiescence can be used as earthquake precursor. At the beginning of 2015 showed the decrease in seismic activity in several regions in West Sumatra according to development of seismic activity data. Abstract

Sumatra is one of the most actives seismic islands in Indonesia. West Sumatra as a part of Sumatra, in recent years frequent earthquakes in West Sumatra so many casualties and destroyed thousands of buildings. Until now no one can be sure when the earthquake occurred. Although earthquakes can not be predicted  certainty, But the signs of earthquake events can be identified by observation, One of them changes to the earth's magnetic field. Changes in the earth's magnetic field can be identified using the Magnetic Data Acquisition System (MAGDAS). Polarization Power Ratio Z / H is one of the methods used in analyzing changes the variation of  earth's magnetic field on component Z and component H. This anomaly change will be adjusted to earthquake occurrence. The results showed that there has been anomalous earth magnetic field 1 day to 1 month before earthquake. Some positive-valued Anomalies indicating rocks experienced strains as of January 11, 2017 corresponding to the earthquake of January 30, 2017 located at -1.87 LU and 98.97 BT with magnitude 4.5 SR, within 19 days after the anomaly. Negative anomalies indicated stress-affected rock as of July 25, 2016 corresponding to the earthquake of August 3, 2016 located at -1.33 LU and 96.86 BT with magnitude 4.7 SR, within 9 days after the anomaly.

Abstract

Demam tifoid masih merupakan masalah kesehatan penting di berbagai negara, terutama negara berkembang. Bakteri Salmonella typhi. Kasus demam tifoid di RSUD Bangkinang Kabupaten Kampar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian Demam Tifoid di RSUD Bangkinang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik kuantitatif dengan pendekatan case control. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 21-26 Juni 2021 dengan jumlah sampel kelompok kasus 20 responden dan 20 responden kelompok kontrol yang berumur 19-55 menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan total sampel sebanyak 40 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik chi-square. Hasil uji chi-square didapatkan ada hubungan antara kebiasaan jajan di luar dengan demam tifoid (p = 0,01), hygiene perorangan (p = 0,02), dan sanitasi lingkungan (p = 0,002). Kesimpulan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kebiasaan jajan di luar, hygiene perorangan dan sanitasi lingkungan dengan kejadian demam tifoid di RSUD Bangkinang kelompok usia 9-55 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, saran yang diajukan adalah menjaga pola makan, menjaga higienitas pada makanan seperti memperhatikan saat penyajian dan penyimpanan makanan, penjamah makanan dan menjaga kebersihan seperti mencuci tangan sebelum dan sesudah makan. Kata Kunci : Kebiasaan Jajan di Luar, Hygiene Perorangan, Sanitasi Lingkungan
