Abstract

Research conducted by the author aims to see the effect of innovation of processed pineapple products on sustainable competitive advantage (a study on the cooperative of a prosperous bud farmer group in the village of Kampung Jawa, Bengkalis Regency). This Research also aims to determine the dimensions of product innovation that have the most influence on sustainable competitive advantage. Sampling using saturated sampling method or census. The data in this research were obtained through a questionnaire, and the data analysis used was simple regression analysis with the SPSS v.22 application. The results of data analysis show that the innovation of processed products partially affects sustainable competitive advantage (a study on the cooperative of a prosperous bud farmer group in the village of Kampung Jawa, Bengkalis Regency).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image on brand loyalty of Wardah lipstick products in global cosmetics, Tualang District, District. In this study, for the brand, image variable uses indicators, namely attributes, benefits, overall evaluation, while for brand loyalty variables using indicators, namely measuring behavior, measuring costs, measuring satisfaction, brand liking, and commitment. The type in this study uses a descriptive type of research using quantitative methods because this study explains the relationship between the Brand Image (X) variable and the Brand Loyalty variable (Y). The sampling technique used is a purposive sampling technique or subjectively aimed sample. This research method determines respondents to be used as samples because they have specific criteria for 100 respondents. Data collection techniques are by distributing questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is simple linear analysis.

Abstract

The existence of BUMDes BUMDes as a successful social institution is expected to contribute to the provision of all social service efforts to the community. In addition, as a commercial institution, BUMDes aims to provide benefits from every commercial business carried out that contributes to each of its business activities and favors the interests of the community. Achieving success, the professional implementation and management of BUMDes need to be carried out with a good, transparent, and sustainable level of accountability as a serious effort to make BUMDes run independently, effectively, and efficiently. In order to achieve this, it is, of course, essential for BUMDes to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that suit the needs of each business unit effectively and efficiently. The problem of limited knowledge and skills of Community Service (PKM) partners related to preparing effective and efficient SOPs is overcome through this PKM activity. This community service activity with PKM BUMDes Sumber Berkah partners is carried out with counseling methods and basic training to recognize the steps for preparing BUMDes SOPs following SOP principles to improve the quality of BUMDes services. The achievement of the target of this PKM activity is an increase in the knowledge and skills of partners in formulating SOPs effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of developing Riau Malay woven fabrics’ competitiveness and what factors predominantly influence efforts to develop the sustainable competitive advantage of the Riau malay weaving industry based on local wisdom of Malay fabrics in Pekanbaru. The sampling technique chosen was using a purposive sampling of 14 SMEs of Riau Malay woven fabric in Pekanbaru. SWOT analysis was applied as an analysis tool. This research is more in looking at the Riau Malay woven fabric craftsmen based on their ethnic abilities to differ from previous research. The research findings show aspects of product strength consisting of authenticity values of motifs/patterns based on typical regional philosophies not possessed by other regions as a cultural identity. Abstract

This study aims to produce an analysis of the strategic position of the market development of the palm oil sticks waste craft industry and to determine an analysis of alternative strategies for the development of the palm-oil sticks waste craft market in Rokan Hilir Riau. This research method uses the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method. The results of the QSPM analysis in this study to the formulation of alternative design strategies. Determine what, how, when, where and who runs QSPM. This study indicates that IFAS and EFAS are in the quadrant II position with coordinate values between 2.00 – 2.99. This position indicates that the palm-oil stick waste craft industry in Rokan Hilir Riau is positively strong. However, it faces significant challenges, so it must be managed with a market development strategy. While the results of the QSPM analysis show that the priority of alternative market development strategies is to increase the value of product uniqueness, product added value, knowledge capabilities, and craftsman skills. The industry is advised to increase its tactical strategy variations in demanding challenges. The business challenges are marketing, business network, technological innovation, and capital issues. The improvement of production facilities and infrastructure and increasing knowledge and skills of diversified processing artisans increase the unique value of the product and the added value of the product being more different than competitors. The research implications contribute to determining the market development strategy and theoretical implications related to the market development strategy concept. Abstract

Business actors' competition in capturing market share has made it essential for business actors to implement sustainable competitive advantage through local wisdom and innovation. It is expected to improve product quality sustainably. This study aims to analyze sustainable competitive advantage based on local wisdom and innovation in small and medium enterprises of Riau Malay traditional food in Pekanbaru. The research method used is qualitative with observation, interview, and literary techniques. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling on ten business actors and triangulation as the analysis technique in this study. This study's findings are that local wisdom factors and product innovation are a source of sustainable competitive advantage in the micro and small business sector of Riau Malay traditional food in Pekanbaru. Although innovations made in traditional Riau Malay food products, this has not made the product more homogeneous but still thick with its uniqueness and authenticity. The resources owned's heterogeneity is reflected in local knowledge, local skills, local resources, and local values in traditional Riau Malay food products, a differentiator that competitors cannot imitate.

Abstract

This research was conducted by the author aims to determine the effect of the work environment on the performance of service employees at PT. Agung Toyota SM. Amin Pekanbaru. This study is to determine the dimensions of the work environment that have the most influence on employee performance. The indicators of the work environment used in this study are the physical environment and the psychological environment, as well as the employee performance indicators used in this study, namely the quantity of work, quality of work, and timeliness. Sampling using saturated sampling method for employees and for leaders using purposive. The data in this study were obtained through questionnaires, and the data analysis used was simple regression analysis with the SPSS v.23 application. In the overall validity test, the statement items are declared valid. Result show work environment influence to employee environment.

Abstract

Village-owned enterprises provide many benefits for village communities to be able to improve the village economy. One of the goals established by BUMDes is to improve the village economy. One of the goals of establishing BUMDes is to eradicate poverty in the village community and empower the potential of the village. This community service activity aims to assist the management of BUMDes in the village of Muaro Sentajo, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The results of the outreach activities for mentoring the governance of BUMDes can be arranged planning work programs based on the results of discussions between the PKM team, village officials, BUMDes managers and the local community. The mentoring for BUMDes governance provides solutions to problems faced by other things related to all human resources for BUMDes managers, namely providing technical guidance, management of existing BUMDes businesses but not yet optimal, (Savings and Loans, BRI Link, Saprodi Fertilizer, Agricultural Equipment and Agricultural Medicine).

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of Word of Mouth on purchasing decisions in Pekanbaru. This study uses the technique of Accidental Sampling with a sample determination of 100 respondents. The data in this study were obtained through questionnaires, and the data analysis used was simple regression analysis with the spss 25.0 application for windows. This study uses simple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Word of Mouth has a significant influence on purchasing decisions at Smile With Vegas Pekanbaru. It can be seen that the monitoring and instrument indicators have a minimum value, while the speaker indicator has a maximum value. The average results of respondents' responses regarding purchasing decisions are classified as agree in making purchasing decisions at Smile With Vegas Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The abundance of potential resources from the oil palm plantation business creates business opportunities from upstream to downstream. Palm oil stick waste has not been explored optimally for its utilization so far it is only burned or thrown away to rot. The aim of this Community Service activity is to provide counseling and training on the use of palm oil stick waste into creative products of environmentally friendly woven crafts to a group of women in Kecepatan District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau to increase family income. The limited knowledge and skills of the partner groups in Kecepatan District, Rokan Hulu, Riau is a problem that limits the perception of business opportunities for partner groups in capturing potential business opportunities from palm oil stick waste. Basic counseling and training on making woven plate crafts from palm oil stick waste was carried out as a solution to the problems of the partner group. The result of this activity is an increase in the knowledge and skills of partner groups in utilizing palm oil stick waste into environmentally friendly creative products with high economic value so that they have the potential to increase family income.
