Abstract

The purpose of this action research is to describe: the thematic learning interest using silent audio visual media, the thematic learning interest using motion audio visual media, the change in learning interest of students in grade II at SDN Bulutengger, Sekaran District, Lamongan. This type of research is classroom action research. The analytical method used is a quantitative method. Data collection by holding observations (observations) and documentation. In this study carried out as many as 2 cycles, which in the cycle there are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Based on the research class action that has been carried out by researchers, in the cycle 1 phase did not experience an increase, whereas in cycle 2 it had increased. The details are as follows: The interest indicator in cycle 1 gained 59%, while the interest indicator in cycle 2 gained 93%. The overall results of the pre-cycle 1 test scored 59, while the overall post-test results in cycle 2 gained 89. The average cognitive value in cycle 1 gained 56.4, while the average cognitive value in cycle 2 gained 90. The average score affective in cycle 1 gained 50.6, while the average affective value in cycle 2 gained 89.8. The average psychomotor value in cycle 1 was 54.4, while the average psychomotor value in cycle 2 was 87.4, and in cycle 2 the category was stated to be very interested.

Abstract

The relevance of education is one of the problems that until now is still difficult to find the solution. The relevance of education itself is the suitability of educational programs conducted by educational institutions with the needs of the community as users or educational stakeholders. To equip the graduates so as to meet the needs of stakeholders, the position of Vocational High School (SMK) is one of the spearheads, it is because SMK is considered able to guarantee three education domains, namely the attitude, knowledge and skills that integrated in the best education pattern so that the graduates are appropriate with the needs of the business / industry (link and match). Vocational High School of Sunan Drajat Lamongan is one of the schools that is able to provide programs that can match the needs of Lamongan stakeholders with more than 50% of their graduates are able to be accepted in Business World / Industry. This reseach aims to reveal and analyze the strategic role and impact of the strategic role of public relations in the stakeholder-oriented excellent school Vocational High School of Sunan Drajat Lamongan. This research is a qualitative type with case study approach. Data collection was done by interview and documentation method. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Checking the validity of the findings is done by crediblity method with the techniques of triangulation of sources and methods and techniques of peer discussion. The informants of this research are principal, vice principal (public relation, curriculum, student, facilities and infrastructure), head of skill competence, productive teacher, administration staff of SMK Sunan Drajat Lamongan and graduate users. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the role of stretegis of public relation of SMK Sunan Drajat Lamongan, among others are on: (a) curriculum field, (b) field of facilities and infrastructure, (c) field of student, (e) head of skill competence, (2) the impact of the strategic role of SMK Sunan Drajat Lamongan, among others are on: (a) schools, are on: (1) curriculum, (2) facilities and infrastructure, (3) student, (4) head master, (5) productive teachers and head of skill competence, (6) institution itself, (b) stakeholders, ie: (1) stakeholders know the program and the skill program developed by school, (2) the stakeholder need for labor is easy to obtain, (3) stakeholders are able to participate in the school program by providing input/suggestions related to the students' abilities and skills.

Abstract

This study aims to explain and analyze the difficulties of teachers in carrying out the 2013 thematic learning assessment curriculum, the factors that cause teachers' difficulties in carrying out the 2013 thematic learning assessment curriculum and the efforts that MI teachers can do to overcome the difficulties in evaluating the 2013 thematic learning curriculum in MIM Kendalkemlagi. This type of research is a case study research with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The technique of determining the validity and validity of data uses triangulation of techniques and sources. The results of this study indicate that the difficulties experienced by MI teachers in carrying out the 2013 curriculum thematic learning assessment include the preparation of an assessment format and assessment instruments; understand children with a variety of material from several content subjects combined in one theme; understanding questions to students who are still not fluent in reading; KI and KD mapping process, assessment process, learning process, and determining the assessment tools used. Efforts made by the teacher to overcome these difficulties are by attending the 2013 curriculum training, communicating and consulting a lot of parties both the school principal, vice curriculum or peers or other teachers.
