Abstract

The centre of learning process by the teachers and lack of motivation to find mathematic concept causes the comprehension math concept of students relatively low is the basic to do this research. The purpose of this research is to know weather the comprehension of math concept by using the Genius Learning strategy with Penemuan Terbimbing method is better than comprehension of math concept by using conventional learning at class IX of state Junior High School 20 Padang TP 2012/2013. This research is experimental research and use random sampling. To analyze the data this research used Mann-Whitney test with Minitab software. The result of hypotesis test is probability = 0,0039 with a = 0,05, so the hypotesis was accepted. So that it concludes that the comprehension of students math concept by using Genius Learning strategy with Penemuan Terbimbing method is better than comprehension of math concept by using conventional learning.

Abstract

 The background of this research is the low understanding of mathematical concept and study enthusiasm of VIII grade students of MTsN Gurun Panjang. This research is purposed to find out that the student’s mathematical concept with Sucker Ball game along with handout is better than students mathematical concept with conventional learning in VIII grade students of MTsN Gurun Panjang year 2012/2013. The type of this research is experimental research, with research design random to the subject. The population in this research is VIII grade students of MTsN Gurun Panjang years 2012/2013 which is consist of three classes. The sampling technique is random, the class is VIII.1 class, and the control class is VIII.2 class. The instrumentation of this research is mathematical concept understanding test. The form of the test is essay. The data analysis technique is t- examination which is supported by Minitab software. Be based on the data analysis was known that both of the sample class have the normal distribution and the homogeneity at  level. The result of hypotheses is P-value = 0,000 is lower than, so the hypotheses of this research are accepted. It can be conluded the matematical concept of students who implemented the Sucker Ball game along with handout is better than the mathematical concept of students who implimen hte conventional learning is VIII grade of MTsN Gurun Panjang, years 2012/2013.

Abstract

The research is done of the problem of student’s achievement of mathematic concept were low. The purpose of this research to know how far using Cooperative Learning Method Type Think Pair Share (TPS) through Speed Test better than student’s achievement of mathematic concept with conventional teaching. This research will be conducted in Experimental research, with The Random Trial to Subject. Population of this research was students at seventh Grade of SMPN 1 Kec. Lareh Sago Halaban in 2012/2013 year. The technique of data collection is random, that the research choose VII 4  as experimental class and VII 3 as control class. The instrument was use in this research is post test of comprehension of mathematic concept. The treatment essay with reliability test . The technique analysis data that is use by helping MINITAB software. Based on the result of data analysis, the research know that two class sample was normal and homogen at . The hypothesis result get p-value same with  it’s mean that lower than  so the hypothesis of this research is received, it can be concluded that the effect of using Cooperative Learning Method Type Think Pair Share through Speed Test better than student’s achievement of mathematic concept that is tough by using conventional teaching at seventh grade of SMPN 1 Kec. Abstract

There are several background in this research. First, the teacher still dominate all of theaching learning process so that the process applied one way communication or teacher centered. Second, the student are less activity. Third, the students less motivation which affect  the understanding of math concept of student especially is grade VIII. The purpose in this research to know whether the understanding of math concept of student by applying the quantum teaching model is better than the understanding of math concept of student by using conventional learning. The kind of this research is experiment by using random subject.  The population in this research is the student in grade VIII. The sample in this research is grade VIII.3 as experiment class and VIII.4 as control class. The instrument in this research is essay test with reliabilitas = 0,40. The technique of data analysis is used t-test one side, obtained,> then the hypothesis in this research is accepted. It is conclude that of math concept of student by applying quantum teaching model is better than the understanding of math concept of student by using conventional learning. Based on data analysis of student can be seen an increasing number of student who are active in every meeting.

Abstract

This research was made because of the lack of students’ experience in discussing so that they find difficulty in sharing opinion and ideas with their friends. It makes the students lack of mathematics comprehension concept that is seen in the VIII of students SMPN 13 Padang on 2012/2013. This research is aimed to determine students’ mathematics comprehension that applies cooperative of learning Technigue Berkirim Salam Model dan Soal that is followed by quiz is better than the comprehension of students’ mathematic concept that applies conventional learning in the VIII grade of SMPN 13 Padang. This research is an experimental research which is designed randomized to the subjects. The population of this research is SMPN 13 Padang students at the VIII  grade on 2012/2013 learning period that consists of seven classes. The sample was taken by randomly, Where VIII5 as the experimental class and VIII6 as the controlling class. The instruments that are used in this research are quiz and the com­prehension of mathematics concept test. The test that is used is a kind of an essay with reliabili­ties is 0,88. The data analysis technique is t crucible with one section. Based on the analysis data, it is known that the two samples distribute normally and homogeneous in α = 0,05. The result of this hypothesis is     P-value = 0,000 was less than  so that this hypothesis can be accepted. It can be concluded that stu­dents’ mathemat­ics comprehension that applies cooperative of learning Technigue Berkirim Salam dan Soal that is followed by quiz is better than conventional applying learning in the VIII grade of SMPN 13 Padang.

Abstract

                                               ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the students understanding of mathematical concepts are still low. This study aims to determine whether students understanding of concepts that implement various strategies to actively better knowledge of the students understanding of the concepts that apply to conventional teaching class VIII SMPN1 Tarusan academic year 2013/2014.This research is an experimental study of the subject with a random design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN1 Koto Tarusan listed in the Academic Year 2013/2014, with the sample is a class VIII.1 student as an experimental class and VIII. 2 as the control class. The instrument in this study is the final test in the form of an essay by using the concept of understanding and assessment indicators based analytic rubric, the reliability of the test is 0.886. data analysis techniques are used by one party t test with the help of MINITAB. Based on hypothesis testing using t-test of the party with the help of MINITAB, obtained P-value of 0.000 is smaller than α = 0.05. It can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying various strategies to actively better knowledge than the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning model class VIII SMPN1 Koto XI Tarusan Academic Year 2013/2014 at the 95% confidence interval.

Abstract

The problem faced by partners is the teacher's inability to design curriculum learning 2013 by paying attention to students' intelligence such as interpersonal, intrapersonal, visual, and kinesthetic. Students in a class have a variety of intelligence and learning styles. Teachers should accommodate all these intelligences in the learning process. It requires an activity on how to design 2013 curriculum learning planning. The method used in this training activity consists of three parts, namely the presentation of theories about designing curriculum learning 2013. In this activity questionnaire sheets were used. The questions are arranged to see the results of the implementation of the design of planning the 2013 curriculum learning activities with attention to student intelligence. The training activities carried out are able to improve teacher competence (teacher understanding and skills) in designing and making media that is appropriate to the material and intelligence and learning styles of students

Abstract

Diare is a soft or liquid bowel movement that is more frequent than usual. Someof the factors that contribute to the incidence of Diarrhea in infants arematernal education, toddler age, elderly parents, exclusive breastfeeding, toiletcontents, and water sources. The purpose of this study is to see the form oflogistic regression model of factors that occur Diarrhea occurrence in Toddlersin Puskesmas Pasar Baru Bayang Subdistrict Pesisir Selatan Regency, knowwhat is the most severe variable to the occurrence of Diarrhea in Toddlers atPasar Baru Health Center of Bayang District, and for risk factors that occurdiarrhea in Toddlers at Pasar Baru Public Health Center, Bayang District. Theresults showed that factors influencing the incidence of Diarrhea in toddlers atPasar Baru Public Health Center of Bayang Sub District are Toddlers (X2) andExclusive Breast Feeding (X4) with logistic regression model as follows:Nilai odds ratio untuk variabelumurbalita adalah 8,624 dan nilai odds ratiountuk variabel ASI ekslusif sebesar10,110.Keyword:Diare, Logistik, Pesisir Selatan

Abstract

Abstract –The Multilocation experiment, complete data are estimated with AMMI (Additive Main Effect and Multiplicative Interaction). But, if data in the research is not complete, then it can not be analysis with AMMI. The method can be use in estimator of unbalance data is “ The Method of Connected EM-AMMI with R”. The purpose of estimator from unbalance data with connected EM-AMMI in R is for knowing the procedures of estimator unbalance data in R. The source of data is in the research is the harvest’s result of rice in four cities’s West Sumatra. After that, we get 1.25 % Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). It shows that the estimator of unbalance data with using connected EM-AMMI’s method. Keywords – AMMI,  connected EM-AMMI, unbalance data, MAPE.

Abstract

Abstract — Divorce is the process of terminating a marriage. This research discusses the contributing factors of divorce by applying binary logistic regression methods at Religious Courts of Pariaman. The divorce lawsuit filed in Religious Court of Pariaman has undergone an increase in the last few years since 2014-2017 where this divorce case is improving more than 7000 cases per year. The factors used are husband’s age, wife’s age, husband’s education, wife’s education, there is third person, harshness, economic factors, unresponsibility, uncompatible. The population was all cases of divorce at Pariaman in January-February 2019 as many as 134 cases, which is using total sampling. Based on the result that the most dominant factor of divorce causes are husband’s education level and uncompatible. Keywords — Binary Logistic Regression, Divorce, Dominant Factors.
