Abstract

Infectious plague has seized the attention of a number of experts in various scientific fields and squeezed a number of dimensions of human life. This is also inseparable from the attention of Arabic writers, Egypt, namely Thaha Husain in undergoing an infectious plague era. Through his work entitled Al-Mu'tazilah (1971), Thaha Husain highlights the individual and social conditions of the community at the time when an outbreak of an infectious virus struck and after it passed. This situation is the problem in this study. Thus, the purpose of this study is to describe, describe and critique the attitudes of individuals and social communities in the face of infectious plague. The various attitudes and behaviors presented in this literary text serve as primary research data and are analyzed by descriptive methods. That is an analytical method that emphasizes the description of a qualitative critical analysis data, and not produce numbers as quantitative research. Furthermore, literary reception theory is used to express research analysis by its work, namely the method of textual criticism in order to obtain an objective and scientific analysis, then reinforced by secondary sources related to research. Thus, the results of this study are exemplary individual and social attitudes that can be implemented in contemporary life in the context of prevention, treatment and mutual assistance in dealing with infectious virus outbreaks. In addition, people can refrain from doing things that can harm the social environment.

Abstract

This article aims at describing the personalities of characters in Wajh Al-Haqiqāhshortstory by Taufīq Al-Chakīm based on Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of personality. Data used in this research were obtained from primary and secondary data. Primary data source in this research is Wajh Al-Haqiqāh shortstory by Taufīq Al-Chakīm and secondary data sources are books, journals, and internet sources relevant to this study. The problem analyzed in this research is the personality of each character in Wajh Al-Haqiqāh shortstory by Taufīq Al-Chakīm. When explaining the research problem, the researchers applied Cal Gustav Jung’s theory of personality. The results of analysis show that each character has different personalities. The structure of human’s soul consists of two worlds, consciousness and unconsciousness.

Abstract

Research on works that adopt the stories contained in the Al-Qur'an, needs to be examined to find out the originality of the story or the creativity of the authors that are contained in the works. Among the works that adopt the text of the Qur'an are the work entitled Qishashun-Nabiyyīn lil-Athfāl by Abi Al-Hasan Ali al-Hasan an-Nadwiy (2017) and the work Kalam-Qu: The stories in Al- The Qur'an by Jamal Qasim (2018). Both of these works are intended for children. This is the reason these two works are studied. The problem in this study is how the intertextual relationship between the two texts. Intertextual theory is used to study these problems. Thus, the aim of this study is to find and describe the intertextual relationship between the two works. The results of the research show that the transformation text follows the hypogram text. Apart from that, there are also differences between the stories contained in the two works. This happens because the author's or creator's purpose is to show his expertise in making works that are interesting and interesting to the readers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan metode eklektik untuk meningkatkan skor Toafl guru SMP Islam Al-Hadi Sukoharjo. Ini karena, para guru tersebut merasa hanya menjadi subjek yang memberikan materi-materi bahasa Arab kepada siswa sehingga tidak update terhadap perkembangan mutakhir bahasa Arab, khususnya Toafl. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan linguistik edukasional dengan teori metode pembelajaran eklektik dan secara metodologis, menggunakan pendekatan kuantilatif melalui rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas berjumlah dua siklus dengan model Kurt Levin. Sumber datanya diperoleh dari guru SMP Al-Hadi, tutor atau tim peneliti sendiri, dan peristiwa pembelajaran di kelas melalui tes, observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan FGD yang dianalisis secara deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan persentase dan deskriptif-kualitatif menggunakan model Milles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan metode eklektik berhasil meningkatkan Toafl guru dengan baik hingga mencapai rerata skor 507 (63%) dengan rerata kenaikan 18% di skor keseluruhan, 9% di fahm al-masmu’, 24% di tarakib wa asalib, dan 21% di fahm al-maqru’

Abstract

This research aimed to reveal the roles of Islamic and Arabic literature's history in studying Islamic literature and sciences; Therefore, the reception theory and critical method were used to answer such issues. The reception theory is a discipline that optimizes the roles of readers and interpreters (mufassirīn) in revealing the meaning of Islamic literature and Al-Quran texts. As for the critical method, it is how the readers and interpreters respond, perceive, and interpret the texts of Islamic literary works and Al-Quran, equipped with al-qawā'id wal-ma'ārif, and storage or repertoire (knowledge within the mind of interpreter); Accordingly, the general audiences can comprehensively and contextually understand the text concretization presented by the interpreters. The results showed that analyzing and interpreting Islamic literary text require knowledge related to Arabic literature's history, especially from the early days of Islam to contemporary times. Meanwhile, analyzing and interpreting al-Quran and Hadith texts also require knowledge of Islamic civilization history and other Islamic sciences such as Arabic knowledge (nahwu, sharaf, and balāghah), asbābun-nuzūl (concerning Al-Quran texts), asbābul-wurūd (concerning Hadith texts), and others.

Abstract

Purpose- This article aims to examine the combination of the classical dan modern Arabic curriculum at the Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School, Pati. Design/Methodology/Approach- This article uses an educational linguistic approach and qualitative-verification with curriculum organization theory. Data sourced from the field through observation, interviews and documentation, and analyzed using the Spradley method with domain, taxonomy, componential and cultural techniques. Findings- The results of this study are the combination of the Islamic boarding school curriculum in the form of a micro that integrates the curriculum of the classical dan modern Islamic boarding school, without linking it with other educational institutions. The integrated curriculum components are system, organization, objectives, materials, methods, educators dan evaluation. However, there are several sub-components that are not integrated, but only adopted from one of the classical dan modern Islamic boarding school. In addition to micro, in terms of planning dan learning practices, this curriculum blend is also integration-interconnection. Research Limitations/Implications- The field data of this research is only sourced from the Darul Hidayah Islamic boarding school, then the literature is compared with other Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui teknik penerjemahan serta metode penerjemahan Al-Qur’an dan terjemahannya versi Kementerian Agama RI edisi penyempurnaan 2019 dalam ayat-ayat Khawatim al-Suwar. Untuk mengumpulkan data dilakukan observasi dan FGD. Hasil analisis mengungkapkan bahwa ada 13 teknik penerjemahan yang diterapkan. Teknik yang paling dominan dalam analisis ini adalah teknik kesepadanan lazim karena tidak dapat dipisahkan dari konteksnya. Temuan dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode komunikatif adalah metode yang paling berorientasi. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan mengetahui rata-rata total teknik penerjemahan yang digunakan. Metode komunikatif memiliki persentase sebesar 99,88% dari teknik penerjemahan yang digunakan. Kemudian sisanya sebesar 0,12% teknik penerjemahan mencerminkan metode setia.
