Abstract

The restaurant business is one area that promises many benefits. But in some cases, not all restaurants can run their business smoothly. For example because of the lack of promotion of the types of food offered, the variety of menus presented for the customer service process is unsatisfactory. This research was directed to Restoran 1953 Indonesia, because the problems mentioned above were experienced by Restoran 1953 Indonesia. For this reason, a system is needed that can solve problems in the restaurant business today. That way, this application can facilitate customers in the ordering process and Restoran 1953 Indonesia in providing the best service.

Abstract

This study discusses the monitoring and evaluation of e-learning activities through the LMS (Learning Management System) application of Pamulang University. In the previous process, the system used could only display activities carried out by lecturers that were recorded in the e-learning log. The logs that are displayed only create, update, delete activity, and cannot provide information about the effectiveness of online learning. Other parameters are needed to measure the effectiveness of online learning. One of them is the number of activities lecturers have to do for each subject within a certain period. In each course, the lecturer activity frequency is called create. Create is intended to open discussion topics by providing questions and responses to students' answers. From the results of monitoring, the achievement of creation is not sufficient to determine the success of implementing e-learning at Pamulang University. So that several other restrictions are needed such as participation, intensity, and content suitability. However, problems that occur in other parameters cannot be monitored just by looking at the data from the e-learning log. From these problems, a visual presentation of the activities of lecturers and students is needed which allows Study Programs with low percentages to be identified as quickly as possible, and decision making can be determined. The results showed that the four parameters can be implemented in the system. The average value of student participation in discussion forums is 74.99%, the ratio of the intensity of the activeness of lecturers and students every day of the week during the implementation period is 49.40%. Then the content suitability obtained an average of 0.04% and an average value of 65.90% lecturer activity. The generating facility automatically shows the four parameters in cooperation with the final result considered to assess the effectiveness of e-learning.

Abstract

In the implementation of higher education, of course, the relevance of the curriculum is needed in improving the quality of learning. One of the efforts to fulfill this is through alumni tracking (tracer study). Tracer study is a strategy that allows higher education institutions to obtain input on adjusting the curriculum to current industry needs so that it can become the basis for future improvements. Lack of distribution and collection of questionnaires again became a problem for the tracer study team, because during its implementation there was little response from alumni and stakeholders. Therefore we need a system that can be used to collect and manage and present data accurately from the measurement results of the tracer study in the form of parameters such as work status, job relevance, level of importance of educational services, level of satisfaction of educational services, and the influence of thesis quality. As well as measuring the level of stakeholder satisfaction with alumni with parameters in the form of ethics and morals, expertise based on scientific fields, skills in communication, and teamwork. The results showed that the process of collecting and processing tracer study instruments according to the parameters required in the accreditation process was easier to do because it was website-based. Besides, it made it easier for alumni and stakeholders to fill out the questionnaire, so that more feedback was obtained by the tracer study team.

Abstract

In a classroom, ideally there are facilities such as chairs, desks, blackboards, and electronic devices used such as air conditioners (AC), lamps and projectors. However, in its use, there are actions that are not responsible for maintaining the facility so that it causes losses. An internet of things-based classroom monitoring system is needed to solve existing problems. This system has the ability to remotely operate electronic facilities in classrooms such as air conditioning, electricity and lights, monitor access to classrooms, process data, print activity monitoring reports, to monitor the current conditions of a room. This system consists of three parts, namely the database part, the microcontroller section and the software section. The database section contains data on access cards or fingerprints, room usage schedules, room temperature and humidity. The methodology for designing and building a classroom monitoring system uses the waterfall methodology. In this methodology, several steps are taken to build a system, namely: system requirements analysis, hardware design and software engineering, system design, system implementation, system testing, and system maintenance. Based on the test results, this system can record input data on the microcontroller section and display it in the software section for real-time monitoring and controlling of classrooms and minimizing damage to existing facilities in the classroom. Monitoring of classroom use that is not according to the schedule of use can be carried out and controlled remotely in real-time.

Abstract

Website dapat menyajikan berbagai informasi mengenai profil perusahaan, profil lembaga pendidikan dan lainlain. Selain itu website juga biasa dijadikan sebagai media promosi yang hemat sekaligus menampilkanprofesionalitas. Sehingga dibutuhkan profesi webdesain dan Help Desk untuk membangun website yanginteraktif dan menarik, serta seorang ahli Help Desk dalam menangani kesalahan yang terjadi pada halaman. Iniartinya bahwa terdapat sebuah peluang pekerjaan. Namun banyak sekolah yang belum menyiapkan bekalsiswa/i-nya ilmu tentang web desain dan Help Desk. Oleh karena itu, pada pengabdian kali ini siswa/I akandiajarkan cara mengenalkan cara menjadi seorang webdesain dan Help Desk yang handal dalam mengahdapiperkembangan teknologi saat ini. Metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan pelatihan ini dengan memberikanlangsung materi ke pada siswa/I SMK YPUI Parung dengan menggunakan perangkat komputer/laptop danjaringan internet. Untuk pencapain tujuan tersebut maka kegiatan pengabdian akan dilakukan secara langsungdalam ruangan yang diikuti oleh 32 orang siswa. Adapun untuk membuat Web Desain yang harus dilakukanadalah membuat white frame dan desain UI dan UX dengan software AdobeXD dan dasar pengenalan AdobePhotoshop. Selanjutnya untuk menjadi seorang Help Desk, yang harus dikuasai adalah problem solving,memahami bisnis proses sebuah perusahaan. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, siswa/I SMK YPUI mendapatpengetahuan tentang cara membuat web desain dan dapat menjadi seorang heldesk yang profesional. Sehinggasetelah lulus dari sekolah dan ingin langsung bekerja, siswa/i dapat bersaing dengan yang lain.

Abstract

Abstract—Kegiatan penunjang akademik secara rutin diadakan untuk meningkatkan wawasan civitas akademik khususnya mahasiswa dan dosen. Namun pada pelaksanaannya, penyebaran informasi kegiatan terbatas jangkauannya, dan belum tersedia platform resmi yang bisa menjangkau kesemua. Banyaknya calon peserta juga menyulitkan panitia dalam pendataan peserta sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya data yang terlewat atau duplikasi data pendaftar calon peserta kegiatan. Selain itu peserta juga harus menunggu untuk mendapatkan sertifikat dikarenakan banyaknya peserta seminar, dan juga masih belum tersedianya pengarsipan untuk penomoran sertifikat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan melihat kondisi serta aturan-aturan dalam pelaksanaan setiap kegiatan penunjang akademik. Dari temuan yang dikumpulkan, kemudian muncul solusi permasalahan dengan membuat aplikasi berbasis web dengan model pengembangan Rapid Application Development (RAD). Hasil yang didapat bisa menunjang efisiensi dan efektifitas dalam mengolah data, mendapatkan informasi yang cepat dan tepat, mampu mengoptimalkan proses pendataan peserta kegiatan, adanya penomoran pada setiap sertifikat yang telah dibuat untuk membantu dalam proses memverifikasi kepemilikan sertifikat, serta fitur cetak sertifikat agar peserta dapat mencetak sertifikat sendiri. Abstract

Technology is present as part of the complement and needs of human life, including in the field of locker security. Lockers are used to store valuable and important items, especially at work. Therefore, the locker requires high security. Users often forget and lose keys, and do not guarantee the safety of the items in the locker because theft can occur easily using various tools or other fake keys. There is solution using an Arduino Uno-based RFID. The research method used is observation, interviews and literature study. The results of the implementation and testing, this system can work well as planned. The questionnaire show that 88% of respondents agree and state that this system is appropriate if used in the workplace. The way this tool works is to open a locker by attaching an RFID card that has been registered according to the locker provided. In addition, the LED light can be an automatic signal. Where when the locker is open or not completely closed, the LED light will turn on, and when the locker is closed the LED light does not turn on. This system also features an application on android as a remote locker controller. It is hoped that locker security will be more guaranteed.
