Abstract

Departments must match alumni and prospective alumni's skills so that the industrial world can be absorbed and alumni can begin working immediately according to the company and their skills. This study aimed to determine the role of public relations in the absorption of alumni and prospective alumni at SMK Negeri 1 Lawang Wetan through links and matches with the world of the work industry. The findings revealed that SMK Negeri 1 Lawang Wetan's Special Job Exchange played an important role in assisting alumni in finding jobs. The Special Job Exchange has put together a number of work programs to carry out its function of putting alumni in order to reach the absorption of alumni and boost the reputation of SMK Negeri 1 Lawang Wetan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the use of computers among educators. The sample used was 71 respondents from educators at SD Xaverius 1 Palembang and SMP Xaverius 6 Palembang with non-probability sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables fear, anticipation, and pessimism did not have a significant effect on computer use among educators. The optimism variable (optimism) affects the use of computers among educators. The four variables, namely the variables of anxiety (fear), anticipation, pessimism, and optimism together have an effect on computer use among educators

Abstract

This study aim to analyze how students in Indonesia and Nigeria used Project-Based Learning to develop their entrepreneurial skills. Qualitative methods with observation sheet and students’ project document were used as instruments in this study. The subjects were student whom join course entrepreneurship in Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Universitas Bengkulu. The success of the Project-Based Learning strategy is evaluated by reviewing projects completed by students. The results obtained in Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Universitas Bengkulu indicated that PjBL approach increases students’ entrepreneurship skill development, creative thinking, and problem solving. The findings of this study can be used by universities in Indonesia, Nigeria, and other countries as an alternative learning strategy. These are very important for everyone in the future. Hence, PjBL is an effective method that can be used to enhance the entrepreneurial skill of students compared to the traditional class structure where the teacher or lecturer do more of the teaching with less students’ involvement. This study provides an alternative option for developing entrepreneurial skills through project-based learning in both Indonesia and Nigeria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of intellectual intelligence and Adversity Quotient on learning motivation State Vocational High School 1 Pasmah Air Keruh. The sample in this study amounted to 96 students. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire or questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is inferential statistical analysis, correlation test, T test and F test. Based on the results of the study, there is a significant influence of intellectual intelligence and adversity quotient together on learning motivation. This means that the higher the level of intellectual intelligence and adversity quotient in students, the more motivating and enthusiastic students are in learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the analysis of the need for the development of digital comic learning media based on a contextual approach to increase learning motivation on optical instruments. This type of research is a research and development (R&D) research using the 3D research method (define, design, develop). In this study, the researcher limits it only to the define stage. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire to analyze the needs of teachers and students of class XII MIPA and 6 physics teachers from SMA Negeri 2 Bengkulu City, SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City and SMA Negeri 9 Bengkulu CIty. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that students need digital comic learning media based on a contextual approach to the material of optical instruments. This is based on the data obtained that 82.7% of students answered strongly agree and 83.3% of teachers answered that they agreed the need to develop digital comic learning media based on a contextual approach to increase learning motivation.

Abstract

Many instructors do not use automatically quoting and producing bibliographies, the present service is attempting to assist teachers in using the Mendeley program. This workshop seeks to increase MI Humaira instructors' abilities to cite and write bibliographies using the Mendeley program. The course takes a performance-based approach, although it begins with explaining and providing examples before assisting with installation and sync to Microsoft Word. There were 20 instructors from MI Humaira who took part in this training. The outcome of this exercise was that the participants were able to master Mendeley when writing scientific articles.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine the impact of academic supervision on teacher professionalism in terms of improving educational quality. This study employs a Literature Study with a qualitative approach, involving a series of activities such as collecting library data, reading and taking notes, and managing research materials. Textbooks, journals, scientific articles, and literature were used as data sources. All writings that support data on academic supervision, teacher competency, and school quality were used as secondary data. The findings of this study suggest that academic supervision and teacher professionalism play a role in educational quality. This paper provides knowledge and data that can be used to improve school quality through academic supervision and teacher’s competence.
