The focus of this research is on corruption as a global and serious problem that causes unrest in various parts of the world. The impact is so serious and dangerous for the existence of a nation that it attracts a lot of attention and efforts to deal with it. Amid these efforts, this study aims to provide an ethical-theological offer and answer to educate corrupt behavior by referring to the text of Hebrews 13:5. The method used in this research is a literature research and hermeneutic study. The result of this research is that to prevent corrupt behaviour, character education is needed as a step to form good behaviour. In addition, efforts are needed to cultivate satisfaction to avoid greed that has the potential to encourage acts of corruption. This research offers a God-centered education as an ethical-theological basis that guarantees the fullness of human life and allows a person not to behave corruptly.

Kepemimpinan merupakan bagian tak terpisahkan dari hidup manusia, dan sejak semula manusia sudah terhubung dengan soal-soal kepemimpinan dengan berbagai persoalannya. Kadang sejarah menyuguhkan kepada kita tentang kisah-kisah sukses seorang pemimpin, tetapi di pihak lain kisah-kisah kegagalan pemimpin pun menjadi perhatian yang tidak kalah penting. Diantara kedua hal tersebut, penelitian ini terfokus pada kegagalan pemimpin yang masih menjadi problem hingga masa kini. Hal tersebut penting karena, dengan memahami seluk-beluk penyebab kegagalan kepemimpinan maka, masalah tersebut dapat diantisipasi dan tidak diulangi lagi pada masa kini dan masa yang akan datang. Diantara sekian banyak kisah-kisah kegagalan, penulis memilih kisah kegagalan Raja Saul sebagai acuannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research dengan menggunakan sumber-sumber pustaka yang relevan. Metode ini digunakan untuk membangun wacana intelektual tentang kegagalan kepemimpinan yang mendasari penyimpangan-penyimpangan yang secara umum dilakukan oleh para pemimpin.

Digital culture is a new reality that affects human existence in the 21st century. With the development of technology, this culture also determines the way humans are present. Presence that could originally be interpreted through its personality is now eroded by a digital system that is completely artificial and meaningless. This causes a crisis of the meaning of presence and invites attention from various sides. Theologically, the meaning of presence cannot be represented by a technological system because technology is only a means without the intensity of awareness that is operationalized for the benefit of humans. Presence can only be interpreted through encounters between human beings in the wholeness of body, soul, and spirit which were originally created in the likeness and image of God. Therefore, in responding to digital culture, theology must be critical in order to address the meaning of presence so that it is not reduced or distorted by the negative impact of digital culture. This research uses a descriptive research method that aims to describe factual information, identify characteristics, trends, relationships and categories, as study material. The study materials used in this paper are sourced from relevant literature and support the completeness of research on the problems being studied, such as scientific journal articles and books.

Artikel ini difokuskan pada persoalan disharmoni rumah tangga Kristen yang rentan terjadi, serta upaya pencegahannya melalui konseling pranikah. Sejauh ini gereja telah melaksanakan konseling pranikah untuk mempersiapkan pasangan yang akan memasuki kehidupan rumah tangga, namun berdampingan dengan itu kasus ketidakharmonisan keluarga pun terus mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan keadaan tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilik efektivitas konseling pranikah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif guna menggambarkan fenomena terkait topik penelitian tersebut. Fenomena tersebut diperoleh melalui sumber-sumber literatur, karena itu menggunakan kajian Pustaka dengan acuan kepada buku dan artikel jurnal. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa konseling pranikah efektif bagi pencegahan disharmoni rumah tangga Kristen, sebab melaluinya pasangan Kristen dibimbing untuk masuk dalam kehidupan rumah tangga dengan dasar yang kokoh sesuai dengan kehendak Allah.

This study aims to discuss tithing offerings based on the Bible Malachi 3:6-12 to see its relevance to the church today. The research was conducted at GPKB Region IV, Sadaniang District, Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan. The method used is a biblical hermeneutic method to interpret the biblical text and also a survey method with a quantitative approach. The finding in this study is that, tithing offerings are still relevant today because they are based on the unchanging word of God, legalized by God, and have the nature of continuity that remains a legacy for church practice.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang layanan konseling online dalam kaitannya dengan pelayanan gereja. Tampak bahwa, sistem pelayanan konseling online kini berpengaruh luas dan gereja pun terkena pengaruhnya. Meskipun demikian kenyataan tersebut perlu disikapi dengan baik, agar para konselor Kristen tidak terjebak dan terkendali dalam arena media online yang bebas nilai, tanpa kontrol sosial, moral, dan etis. Penelitian ini menggunaka metode Content Analysis dengan menyelidiki teks-teks yang dirujuk melalui artikel jurnal online. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa layanan konseling online pada satu sisi berdampak baik, tetapi juga berdampak buruk di sisi lainnya. Berkenaan dengan itu, maka para konselor Kristen perlu menyikapinya secara proporsional menurut nilai-nilai etika Kristen, agar penggunaan media online dalam melakukan pelayanan konseling tetap dalam batas yang wajar dan terukur sesuai dengan kebenaran Kristen.

This research focus on related to the issue of religious radicalism as a phenomenon that unsettles relations among adherents of different religions. Its influence is so large and widespread that it has an impact on distortions among religious adherents, both in theory and in practice. Nonetheless, this problem can actually be overcome if adherents of religions with all their uniqueness are willing to live side by side in religious maturity which is fostered through mutual respect and enrichment through their religious values. The method used in this research is literature research by referring to literary sources in the form of books and journal articles that are relevant to the research topic. The result of this research is that, radicalism with all its tendencies to distort religious ways can be measured through maintaining and cultivating discussion space, educating maturity of tolerance, and building a shared ethical culture. These efforts cannot only be limited to academics at the contextual level, but must also exist in the wider community through the praxis level as a form of confirmation of the values that have been conceptualized

Restricting the space for the freedom of other religions to become an issue that continues to surface until now, and this has damaged the fact of plurality. Coexistence among religious adherents is a serious problem characterized by fanatical attitudes that isolate religious adherents for theological reasons. This then led to religious warnings that propagated in various sectors of human life including education. To overcome this problem, the purpose of this research is to provide space for theology to exist through the role of Christian education to shake up the space of isolation which continues to narrow relations between religious adherents. The method used in this research is content analysis concerning texts related to research topics in the form of journal articles, books, and online media which are selected according to research interests. The result of this study is that the role of education is needed as a vehicle for educating the intelligence of religious adherents in realizing theology both explicitly and implicitly in a pluralistic society. Through educated people, the isolation space can be shaken, and theology can exist creatively and proportionately in caring for the diversity of religious life.

The focus of this research is to link religious tolerance and apologetic attitude as two important poles for religious followers even though both of them stand in tension between confrontation and confirmation. By opening this space, access to convey Christian beliefs in the midst of religious diversity becomes more free and flexible. The result of this research is that the link between tolerance and apologetic attitude can be made possible by maintaining similarity, being open and respecting the intrinsic values of other religious beliefs. By doing this to fellow believers of other religions, Christianity will also receive the same respect in return.

The focus of this research is on religious radicalism as a public phenomenon that affects the breakdown of interreligious relations. The radicals put a very strict emphasis on differences in religious doctrines to the point where they closed the space for meeting with adherents of other religions. This research aims to urge churches and believers to always be alert and anticipate potential radicalism from Christians, especially the younger generation who are vulnerable to being affected by the dangers of radicalism which poses a threat to inter-religious tolerance. This study uses descriptive research methods, by describing the situation of religious radicalism which is increasingly prevalent. The sources used as references in this writing are articles and related reference books. The factors that contributed to the growth of radicalism were sociology, psychology, and ideology. Related to that, several things that are necessary in an effort to counteract its influence on young Christians are educating awareness of togetherness in religious diversity, building dialogic awareness, and organizing peaceful actions. These points can be a contribution to the thinking and practice of the church in caring for diversity while counteracting the dangers of radicalism that can affect young Christians.Fokus penelitian ini adalah tentang radikalisme agama sebagai fenomena publik yang berpengaruh pada kerusakan relasi antar agama. Kaum radikal memberi penekanan yang sangat ketat pada perbedaan doktrin agama hingga menutup ruang perjumpaan dengan sesama pemeluk agama lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghimbau gereja dan orang percaya untuk selalu siaga dan mengantisipasi potensi-potensi radikalisme dari kalangan Kristen, khususnya generasi muda yang rentan dipengaruhi oleh bahaya radikalisme yang menjadi ancaman bagi toleransi antar umat agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif, dengan mendeskripsikan situasi radikalisme agama yang kian marak terjadi. Sumber-sumber yang menjadi acuan dalam penulisan ini adalah artikel dan buku-buku referensi terkait. Faktor-faktor yang turut mempelopori tumbuhnya paham radikal, yaitu sosiologi, psikologi dan ideologi. Terkait itu, beberapa hal yang perlu sebagai upaya untuk menangkal pengaruhnya terhadap kaum muda Kristen adalah mendidik kesadaran akan kebersamaan dalam keberagaman agama, membangun kesadaran dialogis, dan menggalang aksi damai. Pokok-pokok tersebut dapat menjadi sumbangan bagi pemikiran dan praksis gereja dalam merawat keberagaman sembari menangkal bahaya radikalisme yang dapat memengaruhi kaum muda Kristen.
