Abstract

Objective of the research was to determine the effect of fermented coffee pulp with Trichodermareseei and effect of fermented coffee pulp with Trichodermareseei plus Zn-Cu isoleusinat. The design used in this research was the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments was repeated 5 times each. Treatment used were P1: coffee pulp without fermented. P2: fermented coffee pulp with Trichodermareseei, P3: fermented coffee pulp with Trichodermareseei plus Zn-Cu isoleusinat.. Parameters measured were dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, extract materials without nitrogen. The results showed that the dry matter content was 89.82% and organic matter was 92.57% in the P2. Crude protein was 10,63% in treatment P. Crude fat was 2.76%, at treatment P1., crude fiber 35.71%, BETN (Extract Materials Without Nitrogen) 47.56%. It was concluded that the effect of fermented coffee pulp with Trichodermareseei plus Zn-Cu isoleusinatin crease the protein content and lower crude fiber content. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fermentasi kulit buah kopi dengan Trichodermareseei dan fermentasi kulit buah kopi dengan Trichodermareseei yang ditambah Zn-Cu isoleusinat terhadap kandungan nutrisinya. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 3 x 5; dengan 3 perlakuan yang diulang masing-masing 5 kali. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah P1: Kulit buah kopi tanpa fermentasi, P2: Kulit buah kopi difermentasi Trichodermareesei, P3: Kulit buah kopi difermentasi Trichoderma reesei yang ditambah Zn-CuIsoleusinat. Parameter yang diukur adalah: kandungan bahan kering, bahan organic, protein kasar, serat kasar, lemak kasar dan bahan ekstrak tanpa nitrogen (BETN). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kandungan bahan kering (89,82%) dan bahan organik (92,57%) pada perlakuan P2, protein kasar 10,63% pada perlakuan P3, lemak kasar 2,76%, pada perlakuan P1Disimpulkan bahwa fermentasi kulit buah kopi dengan Trichodermareseei yang ditambah Zn-Cu Isoleusinat meningkatkan kandungan protein dan menurunkan kandungan serat kasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooking carbohydrate source added with urea on body weight gain, protein efficiency ratio and the efficient use of ration goats. The study used 12 local male goats aged of 1 - 1.5 years with an average body weight of 19.58kg (CV 26.25%). The method used in this study was a randomized complate block design (RCBD) consisted of 4 treatments and 3 replicates. The treatments applied: P0 = Forage Gamal 70% + 30% (concentrate + cassava, maize and putak without cooking the product; P1 = Forage Gamal 70% + 30% (concentrate + cooking cassava products urea); P2 = Forage Gamal 70% + 30% (concentrate + corn ripening product urea) and P3 = Forage Gamal 70% + 30% (concentrate + cooking products putak urea). Variables measured included: body weight gain, protein efficiency ratio and the feed efficiency. Results of analysis of variance showed that the treatments were significantly (P <0.01) influenced the body weight gain goats, while, the efficiency ratio and efficient use of ration (P <0.05) influenced the treatments. Use of the product ripening corn-urea in concentrate feed rations supplemented in higher level for goat improved the response variable goats compared to the use of the product cooking cassava-urea, urea and putak-carbohydrate sources that are not cooked with urea. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian produk pemasakan sumber karbohidrat dengan urea terhadap pertambahan bobot badan, protein efficiency ratio dan efisiensi penggunaan ransum ternak kambing. Penelitian menggunakan 12 ekor ternak kambing lokal jantan umur 1 - 1,5 tahun dengan berat badan rata-rata 19,58 Kg (KV 26,25 %). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Adapun perlakuan yang diterapkan : P0 = Hijauan gamal (Gliricidia sepium) 70% + 30% (konsentrat + ubi kayu, jagung dan putak tanpa produk pemasakan) ; P1 = Hijauan gamal 70% + 30% (konsentrat + produk pemasakan ubi kayu urea); P2 = Hijauan gamal 70% + 30% (konsentrat + produk pemasakan jagung urea) dan P3 = Hijauan gamal 70% + 30% (konsentrat + produk pemasakan putak urea). Variabel respon yang diukur meliputi : pertambahan bobot badan, protein efficiency ratio dan efisiensi penggunaan ransum. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan sangat nyata (P<0,01) mempengaruhi pertambahan bobot badan kambing, sementara protein efficiency ratio dan efisiensi penggunaan ransum nyata (P<0,05) dipengaruhi perlakuan. Penggunaan produk pemasakan jagung-urea dalam pakan konsentrat yang disuplementasi dalam ransum kambing nyata lebih tinggi meningkatkan variabel respon ternak kambing dibanding penggunaan produk pemasakan ubi kayu-urea, putak-urea dan sumber karbohidrat yang tidak dimasak dengan urea.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving pituitary extract (EH) and probiotics ABG-O on piglets crossing to increase weaning weight, linear size of body and blood metabolites. The research material was a crossbred of landrace and duroc aged 2 weeks, as many as 24 birds. The experimental design was a completely randomized design with three treatments and eight replications. The three treatments are P0 (control), P1 (EH injection 1 mL), and P2 (injection EH 1 mL + probiotic ABG-O 2 mL). EH injections are carried out every 5 days and administration of probiotics is given orally using spoit every day until the piglets are weaned. The parameters observed were weight gain, linear size of body and blood metabolites. This data was analyzed by ANOVA and continued with Duncan test. The results of this study indicate that the average daily weight gain of crossbred piglets in treatments P0, P1, and P2 are 0.11; 0.13; 016 kg, body length (0.40; 0.45; 0.44 cm), chest circumference (0.29; 0.27; 0,30 cm), and shoulder height (0.25; 0.24; 0.25 cm). Blood glucose levels (117.31; 112.85; 117.25) and total plasma protein (4.60; 4.90; 4.80). The results of the statistical analysis showed that the EH and ABG probiotic treatments affected the UN (P<0.05) but did not affect (P> 0.05) the size of the linear body and blood metabolites. It can be concluded that the administration of pituitary extracts and ABG probiotics can increase the weaning weight but does not affect the linear size of the body blood metabolites and total protein plasma of crossing piglets.

Abstract

The experiment was conducted to improve the nutrients quality ofrice bran fermented with Saccharomyces cereviseae.A laboratorium experimental method was used andarranging factorially in Completely Randomized Design3 x 4 x 3 namely three inoculant levels of S.cerevisiae 1, 2, and 3 % (w/w) as the first factor and inkubation time: 24, 48 and 72 hours as the second factor. Parameters observed were crude protein, soluble protein,crude fat, and phytic acid.The best result of this study was combination 2% S.cerevisiae inoculant level and 72 hours incubation time was supporting to increasing crude protein (10,88 to 14, 36%), soluble protein content (6.14 to 9.82%), and decreased phytic acid content (5.48 to 2.98%) and crude fat (8,23 to 6,91%).

Abstract

The experiment was conducted to improve the nutrients quality of rice bran fermented with Rhyzopus oligosporus. The culture used was pure culture and was initiated by rejuvenation of the culture on slanted agar. The method used was experimental using a completely randomized design (CRD) with a 3 x 3 factorial pattern with three factors, namely the first factor was the inoculum level of R. oligosporus 1, 2, and 3% (w/w) and the second factor was incubation time: 24 , 48, and 72 hours to form nine treatment combinations. The combination is L1T1; L1T2; L1T3; L2T1; L2T2; L2T3; L3T1; L3T2 and L3T3. The treatment was repeated three times to form 27 experimental units. Parameters measured were crude protein content, soluble protein, and phytic acid in fermented rice bran. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan's test to compare between treatments. The measurement results concluded that the R. oligosporus inoculum level of 2% and incubation time of 72 hours (L2T3) affected the increase in crude protein content (10.88 to 14.27%), soluble protein (from 6.14 to 9.07%), and decrease phytic acid (5.48 to 2.27%).
