Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether compensation and e- recruitment can attract prospective millennial employees to work and whether the use of the internet which has become a millennial lifestyle can help them find the job they want. The hypothesis in this study is that compensation has a positive effect on interest applying for a job and e-recruitment has a positive effect on interest in applying for a job. In this study using a quantitative approach to survey method. Sampling technique that is using purposive sampling, the respondents in this study were alumni of the Borneo Tarakan University totaling 225 people from the management and economic development majors. Then analyzed using spss that is t test. The result of this study indicate that compensation has a positive effect on interest in applying for a job and e-recruitment also has a positive effect on interest in applying for a job.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of monitoring variables (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) on employee productivity (Y) at the Planning Department of PT Kideco Jaya Agung, Batu Sopang District. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis that is processed with the help of SPSS. From the calculation results, the regression equation Y = 1.049 + 0.531X1 + 0.283X2 is obtained. The magnitude of the correlation coefficient (R) is 0.906. This shows that there is a solid relationship between supervisory variables (X1) and work discipline (X2) on employee productivity (Y), while the coefficient of determination R2 is 0.810. This shows that the supervisory variable (X1) and the work discipline variable (X2) have an effect of 81% on employee productivity (Y). In contrast, the remaining 19% is influenced by other variables not yet included in this study. From the results of the calculated F value of 82.156 > F table at 5% significance level with degrees of freedom (DB) = nk-1, that is 39-2-1 = 36, amounting to 3.26. This means that there is a joint effect between supervision (X1) and work discipline (X2) on employee productivity (Y). Furthermore, the t-test results showed that the supervision variable (X1) had a dominant effect on employee productivity (Y), obtained tcount> t-table (6.644> 2.028) and seen in the Coefficient Table that the supervision variable (X1) was 6.644 greater than the value of work discipline ( X2) of 2,585 (6,644> 2,585).Keywords: Employee Productivity, Supervision, Work Discipline

Abstract

This Community Service activity was carried out by a team of management and accounting lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, University of Borneo Tarakan on Digital Marketing Training  for UMKM in the city of Tarakan. This training aims to provide knowledge about digital marketing to UMKM in the city of Tarakan which was held on Juny 28 to 11 july, 2021. The method used is the current approach with the participatory method of rural approach in the form of training and mentoring which is generally done through three stages; preparation, training and evaluation, so that it can be more easily understood by UMKM in the city of Tarakan. Participants in this training are representatives of several people with a number of 30 people who have a profession as UMKM actors in the city of Tarakan, and who are still relatively young on average also fall into the category of beginners. The result obtained is to increase knowledge for MSMEs in the city of the importance of Digital Marketing (DM) to increase sales and for the sustainability of the business carried out. This activity is expected to help UMKM actors in increasing revenue and also improving the knowledge in the digital era so as not to be crushed by the changing times.

Abstract

The community service plan (PKM) in this article aims to inform the community about the use of marine resources in the coastal area of Tarakan to increase economic value, The target to be achieved in this program is for the target group to be able to optimize the results of marine resources, especially the use of wasted fish to boost their economy. This activity is carried out through lectures and discussions with partners or community groups who want to market their products, by providing understanding and training in efforts to commercialize competitive products, and of course through information technology so that they can add value for their income. This kind of discarded fish processing business or business is carried out by partners who want to help their household finances. Wastaged fish processed products that have been produced by partners in the PKM grant are further proposed. There are several problems faced, especially in the commercialization and marketing process. The next problem faced by partners is how to make marketing and commercialization media to be able market their products and can be known by all levels of society. The method used in this event is: First, give guidance through brainstorming to open up the mindset about the importance of marketing media and commercialization in order to be able to market their products. The second is consulting on management and commercialization or marketing processes as a determinant of the success of the waste fish processing business in terms of production and management. The output of this activity includes: 1). Aspects of commercialization, namely increasing product marketing so as to increase added value, as well as the use of information technology media. 2). The management aspect is the management of the sustainable management system, that is, the marketing management that has a wide range of influence and is well-known to the public. As a result, partners can understand the benefits, commercialization and effective marketing. In addition, partners can also understand the importance of using information technology to market their products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh konflik peran ganda dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja dosen wanita Universitas Borneo Tarakan di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probabilitysampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dosen wanita Universitas Borneo Tarakan yang sudah menikah dan atau sudah memiliki anak dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel konflik peran ganda tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dosen wanita Universitas Borneo Tarakan di masa pandemi Covid-19 yang artinya ada atau tidaknya konflik peran ganda kinerja dosen wanita Universitas Borneo Tarakan tetap baik, dikarenakan adanya kematangan emosi yang baik yang dimiliki dosen wanita serta didukung oleh faktor usia, lama masa bekerja  dan jenjang pendidikan serta kemampuan dalam menjalankan peran sebagai dosen maupun ibu rumah tangga sehingga kedua peran tersebut dapat dijalankan dengan baik. Sedangkan variabel stres kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dosen wanita Universitas Borneo Tarakan di masa pandemi Covid-19, dikarenakan dosen wanita telah terbiasa menghadapi stres kerja serta didukung oleh pengalaman kerja yang dimiliki dan kemampuan pengelolaan stres yang baik. Sehingga dalam kondisi stres ataupun tidak dosen wanita Universitas Borneo Tarakan tetap mampu bekerja dengan baik sesuai dengan standar kinerja yang diberikan Univeristas Borneo Tarakan.

Abstract

The study uses a quantitative data analysis approach used with SPSS. The sample in the study was 36 people. The purpose of this study is 1). To analyze the influence of motivation consisting of physiologic needs, security needs, social needs, reward needs, and self-actualization needs have simultaneous and partial influences on Employee Performance 2). To analyze the motivation variables studied, which are between physiologic needs, security needs, social needs, reward needs, and the dominant self-actualization needs for Employee Performance. The results showed that: 1). Simultaneously and partially a strong relationship between motivational variables consisting of physiologic needs, security needs, social needs, reward needs, and self-actualization needs with the performance of Civil Servants in the Archivist Office and Paser District Library. 2). Partial test results showed that social needs exerted a dominant influence, evidenced by a calculated value of 2,414 greater than other variables.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dan mengetahui variabel yang dominan terhadap sub variabel disiplin kerja. Seluruh responden berjumlah 42 orang responden. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Perubahan Variabel Motivasi, Variabel Pendidikan dan Pelatihan, Variabel Kepemimpinan, Variabel Kesejahteraan, Variabel Penegakan disiplin melalui hukum, berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, jika variabel bebas ditingkatkan satu satuan, maka variabel tidak bebas akan meningkat satu satuan begitu juga sebaliknya jika mengalami penurunan satu satuan, maka variabel tidak bebas akan menurun satu satuan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini tedapat hubungan yang kuat dari variabel Disiplin kerja (X) terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan (Y). Secara simultan variabel bebas berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel terikat.
