Abstract

This article tries to describe the concept of Human Rights in the West and the response of  Islam to them. In its history, it was Magna Charta  in England that initiated the formulation of Human Rights in the West in 1512. Then It was followed by The Bill of right in 1689; The American Declaration of Independence in 1776; and The French Declaration in 1789 that resulted in The rule of law.  Human Rights entered a new phase after The United Nations had declared the International Human Rights in 1984, that is The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. From that time on, Human Rights has become a global issue, continually discussed and responded to by many including Muslim scholars. In the West, the concept of Human Right is based merely on human values (anthropocentric) so that the responsibility is restricted to human beings. Based on this, this concept is different from Islamic concept on Human Rights because the former is based on secular values  while the later is based on human values and divine values. Normatively, the idea of Human Rights is relevant to Islamic idea. The reason is that, based on their fitrah as creatures, human beings  extremely expect the maintenance of their main needs (Al-umur al-Daruriyyah). Therefore, Human Rights are suitable with the purpose of syari’ah (maqasid al-Syari), that is to maintain religion, reason, heredity dan property.   Kata Kunci: Islam, Hak Asasi Manusia

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe values of local wisdom Nosampesuvu Ethnic Kaili and integrate these values into history learning at SMAN 2 as a conflict resolution in Sigi, Central Sulawesi. Methodologically, this study is qualitative and uses an ethnographic approach. The results of the ethnographic study of the local wisdom values of Nosampesuvu are integrated into learning history using classroom action research (CAR) through the Kemmis and Taggart models. The results showed the findings of ethnographic data of local wisdom values of the Kailiethnic Nosampesuvu group in the integration of the culture of Tolerance ( Mosipahami Patuju) into religious values and social values / cooperation. The uniqueness of the local wisdom of the Kailiethnic Nosampesuvu group was developed in the process of learning local history manifested in cultural values, harmony, polite, polite, friendly, responsible, honest values, and tolerance. The results of the integration found that first, there was an increase in teacher activity in the implementation of learning. Second, there is an increase in student learning outcomes. Thirdly, students’ attitudes toward values Nosampesuvu after implementing local wisdom learning significantly better than before the learning implementation. Thus the implementation of the local wisdom values of Nosampesuvu in local history subjects was successful. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Suku Nosampesuvu Suku Kaili dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai tersebut ke dalam pembelajaran sejarah di SMAN 2 sebagai penyelesaian konflik di Sigi, Sulawesi Tengah. Secara metodologis, penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi. Hasil kajian etnografi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Nosampesuvu diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran sejarah dengan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) melalui model Kemmis dan Taggart. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan data etnografi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal kelompok Kailiethnic Nosampesuvu dalam integrasi budaya Toleransi (Mosipahami Patuju) ke dalam nilai-nilai agama dan nilai-nilai sosial / kerjasama. Keunikan kearifan lokal kelompok Kailiethnic Nosampesuvu dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah lokal yang diwujudkan dalam nilai-nilai budaya, kerukunan, santun, santun, ramah, bertanggung jawab, nilai-nilai kejujuran, dan toleransi. Hasil integrasi menemukan bahwa pertama, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Kedua, ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Ketiga, sikap siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Nosampesuvu setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran kearifan lokal secara signifikan lebih baik dibandingkan sebelum pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Dengan demikian penerapan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Nosampesuvu dalam mata pelajaran sejarah lokal berhasil dilaksanakan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the values ​​of Islamic education contained in the Posalama Pogunci Bulua Traditional Ritual of the Kaili Ethnic in Petobo Village, South Palu District. In this study, the author uses a type of qualitative descriptive research, which describes practically the object under study. Based on these data, the results of this study reveal that: (1) The process of implementing the traditional ritual of Posalama Pogunci Bulua on the Kaili ethnic group in the Petobo Village has several stages that must be carried out including the pokeso custom, preparing the materials used when the traditional ritual is carried out. and aqikah events. In carrying out these traditional rituals they still use the traditions inherited by their ancestors, namely by using symbols such as coconut, rice, candles, siranindi leaves, eggs, and money. These symbols have their own meanings. (2) For the Kaili ethnic community in Petobo Village, the traditional ritual of Posalama Pogunci Bulua is a form of gratitude to Allah SWT. for the children entrusted to them and also as a place of friendship between family and neighbors. While the meanings contained in the symbols used are not as material to be worshiped but as a prayer and hope for both parents to the child that they pray to Allah SWT. (3) In the review of Islamic education, the traditional ritual of posalama pogunci Bulua contains educational values ​​including the value of faith education, the value of moral education, and the value of social education.

Abstract

This study aims at revealling the effect of instructional models and students thinking styles on the students learning outcomes of the educational philosophy course at the IAIN Palu. The research method used in this research was quasi experiment with a 2 x 2 factorial design, data were analyzed statistically using ANAVA. The result of research shows that 1) the students learning outcomes who learned through deep learning model is higher than the students who learned through surface learning; 2) there is an interaction effect between instructional model with thinking style on the learning outcomes of educational philosophy course; 3) student learning outcomes using deep learning model and have divergent thinking style is higher than student learning outcomes that have convergent thinking style; 4) student learning outcomes using surface learning model and have the convergent thinking style is higher than student learning outcomes that have divergent thinking style.

Abstract

Head of SMA Negeri 3 Palu implements the form of management based on five management functions, namely planning, organizing, staffing (placement), coordinating and controlling (control). In managing ecology-oriented schools refers to the school adiwiyata ie schools that maintain the environment, the arrangement of a clean environment, beautiful and healthy in order to produce a good learning environment. this effort also aims to provide understanding of the school community in the preservation of environmental functions and resources in the school environment. Environmentally sound environmental (ecological) school programs have participatory and sustainable principles. The participatory principle is that the school community involved in school management covers the whole process of planning, implementation, and evaluation based on responsibility. The principle of sustainability is that all activities are carried out comprehensively, planned and continuously in improving the learning conditions more comfortable and conducive for all citizens of the school.

Abstract

The objective of this research aims to inestigate the transformativeleadership of school principal paradigm in developing the religious and social character of students at SMA Model Palu, Central Sulawesi. This research uses qualitative proposed by Bogdan dan Taylor. The technique of data analysis uses Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis. The results indicate that, first, transformativeleadership of school principal paradigm is able to build commitment and cooperativeness in making changes, development, and improvement of the learning quality, management of educational quality administration that produces outstanding students. Second, it is able to develop a religious and social culture in changing the thinking and attitude paradigm of students who are obedience to God, honest, sincere, and have a social character in developing the students’ attitudes on cooperativeness, cooperation, brotherhood, empathy, and tolerance. The development of religious and social personalities is carried out in an integrated manner through curricular and extra-curricular activities

Abstract

Tulisan ini betujuan untuk mengetahui Nilai-nilai Pendidikan Islam dalam Adat pernikahan Popene’e Suku Tialo di Kecamatan Tomini. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yakni memaparkan secara mendalam kajian budaya dan interpretatif tentang objek yang diteliti. Berdasarkan data tersebut maka hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa : Nilai-nilai pendidikan islam dalam adat pernikahan popene’e suku tialo ini mengandung beberapa nilai diantaranya nilai tauhid, syariat, akhlak, dan nilai sosial. ke empat nilai tersebut ada dalam adat pernikahan popene’e suku tialo di kecamatan tomini. Adat pernikahan popene’e suku tialo sangat relevan dengan ajaran Islam yang bersumber pada Al-Qur’an dan hadist. Sangat berkaitan dengan konsep pendidikan atau ajaran Islam dalam adat pernikahan popene’e suku tialo dilatar belakangi oleh sejarah awal mula keberadaan Islam di wilayah Kecamatan Tomini. Tahapan pertama sampai akhir menurut penulis tidak bertentangan dengan pendidikan agama Islam relevansi diantara keduanya tergambar dalam setiap tahapan pelaksanaan adat pernikahan popene’e suku Tialo tang berjumlah lima tahap. Menurut pandangan pendidikan agama Islam adat pernikahan popene’e suku tialo ini adalah mengacuh pada konsep-konsep nilai-nilai pendidikan islam yang dikemas sedemikian rupa dalam bentuk adat istiadat dengan tidak meningalkan landasan Al-Qur’an dan hadist.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan analisis kebutuhan untuk pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi google document untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengidentifikasi kemampuan analisis mahasiswa; 2) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan belajar mahasiswa di era digital dan 3) mengidentifikasi peluang google dokumen dalam meningkatkan kemampuan analisis mahasiswa. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen dengan subyek penelitian mahasiswa dan dosen yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) kemampuan analisis mahasiswa masih kurang dan perlu ditingkatkan; 2) mahasiswa membutuhkan model dan desain pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kemajuan di bidang teknologi informasi dan 3) google dokumen relevan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis mahasiswa khususnya pada mata kuliah yang membutuhkan kemampuan analisis tingkat tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper to analyze the communication headmaster duties and functions of leadership in the religious character building of students. Qualitative methods used scrutinize the meaning of the study contains analysis techniques of data reduction, data display and data verification. This paper has resulted in findings; First, communication headmaster leadership in carrying out duties effectively develop the religious character of learners. Second;religious character values ​​developed in the private learners were devout religious practices, mutual respect, social care, have an attitude of individual learning motivation and collaboration, and to produce an honest attitude, creative, responsible and inclusive on a private learners.
