Abstract

The lecturer´s some constraint in Elementary Electronics 1 teaching: student´s electronics basic low,peripheral of less teaching, a few of reference, and less precise method. This matter cause learn result ofstudent relative low of Elementary Electronics 1 in physics education program FKIP UNRI. This Researchpuspose to look for alternative learning strategy to increase result of lecturing of Elementary Electronics 1through repair of peripheral of study. Research procedure divided any three phase: preparation, execution ofaction, and observation, evaluation, reflection. Phase execution of action consist of two cycle: cycle 1 usemethod deliver a lecture and demonstrate while cycle 2 discourse, demonstration, and experiment. Data resultof process learn to teach to be obtained from result of evaluation in the form of tes at cycle I and II withmeasuring indication determined from: 1) improvement of activity student learning of cycle to cycle, 2)reached value of student 85% getting value3 6,5. Research result from repair of peripheral of study withapplying of integrate discourse method, demonstration, and experiment in lecturing of ElementaryElectronics 1 can improve learn result which seen from mean result of tes at cycle 1 that is 73,34 and 80,44 atcycle 2.Key words: learning strategy, demonstration method, experiment method

Abstract

This research aimed to design and build interactive multimedia on the magnetic field’s topic using Adobe Flash as a physics learning media in Senior High School. The type of product is a validation of multimedia interactive. This research is an R&D research using ADDIE models. The data needed for this research are the validation assessment score given by the validatorswho are using evaluation sheets with descriptive analysis techniques. Validator consists of 4 experts as an expert construct and 3 experts as an expert user who given the score of the aspectthat is design, pedagogy, learning content, and users. The final results of the validation assessment of expert constructs are 3.49 with categorized as very high and the result of expert users are 3.59 with categorized as very high. The interactive multimedia had been declared valid and eligible for use in the process of learning and teaching in school.

Abstract

In order for science learning to be interesting and beneficial for students, science instructions must be oriented to the students daily environment. One way to link science instruction with the surrounding environment is by showing the application of scientific concepts to the appropriate technology. For students who live and study in coastal areas, the application of the concept of science should be linked to the sea that they observe every day. In this study a set of science learning media has been developed in the form of sea-wave power plant model. This model is designed so that it can visualize the process of using sea waves to produce electrical energy in the small scale. Expert assessment shows that the model of sea-wave power plant is declared valid so, it is suitable to be used as an instructional media for junior high school in science learning.

Research was conducted in Physics Education Laboratory of Riau University. This research is a type of research and development using research design adapted from ADDIE instructional model with Analysis, Design and Develop stage only. Data in this research is validation score from validator with research instrument used is validation quisioner. The results of this research indicate that the application of mobile learning "Temperature and Heat" obtained a total validity value of 3.49 and is in very high category. Thus it concluded that mobile learning application "Temperature and Heat" is a valid physics learning media and feasible use in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the practicality of android mobile learning as a medium for high school physics learning. The research method used was research and development (R & D). In this study android mobile learning was tested for the practicality by 20 students and 2 physics teachers of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. Based on data analysis, Android Mobile Learning can be used to help improve the learning process obtained by practical values with very high categories for teachers. The results of practical tests according to students, android mobile learning make it easy to study temperature and heat with practicality scores in the high category. Based on the data obtained, android mobile learning is very practical for students and teachers to be used in the learning process.Key Words: Android Mobile learning, practicality, Temperature and Calor.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed determine the increase of student’s self-regulated in physics learning through applying the TANDUR strategies on subject elasticity and hooke’s law. The method used in this research was quasi experimental method with non-equivalent control group design. This study was taken place in SMAN 1 Gaung Indragiri Hilir with the sample of research consisted of 61 XI IPA grade students in the school year of 2016/2017 who devided become two classes, exsperiment and control class. The instrument data collection in this study is questionnaire of self-regulated which consists of 24 statements. Analysis of the data in this study is descriptive analysis to categorize the average score of student’s self-regulated and analysis of the increase (gain) based on the result of pretest and postest. Based on data analysis, the result of this study obtained an average score of student’s self-regulatedin the experiment class and control class are in high category. For pretest’s score in experiment class, the average Score of 2,36 and control class is 2.37. For score of postest in experiment class, the average Score of 2,95 and control class is 2,60. As for the increase (gain) the average score of student’s self-regulated in the experiment class in medium category with a value of 0,36 and control class in low category with a value of 0,14. This result show the use of TANDUR strategies in physics learning on the elasticity and hooke’s law subject can increase student’s self-regulated.Key Words: Self-Regulated, TANDUR Strategies, Elasticity And Hooke’s Law.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research isto increase student learning outcomes by the learning cycle 7e model on simple machine materials in class VIII state Junior high school 4 Tebing Tinggi. The research method be used in this study is Quasi experimental with Two-group post-test-only design,that uses two groups. This group consist of an experimental group and group control. The Instrument to collecting data in this study uses written test of students cognitive learning outcomes as a posttest with an objective form.The results of the data analysis for the average students grade on an experiment that uses the learning cycle 7e are higher than the control classusing conventional learning. The percentage of the average value of the experimental class students 74% with a high category while thecontrol class 64% with enough categories. Variations in the number of data values for the experimental class and the control class can be see from the standard deviation of the student’s posttest results. The standard deviation of the control class 9,845 while the experimental class is 9,307 so that variation in the values of the control class tends to be higher than the experimental class with a differences of 0,538. Based on inferential analysis, there are significant differences in student’s cognitive learning outcomes between classes applying the learning on simple plane material. Therefore, both descriptively and inferentially, the use of the learning cycle 7emodelis more effective to improve student learning outcomes on simple machine material in class VIII of SMPN 4 Tebing Tinggi.KeyWords : Learning Cycle 7e, Learning Outcomes, Simple Machine, Two-Group Post-Test-Only Design.

Abstract

 This research purpose to design an instrument capable to run directly bipolar transistors function as an amplifier in current, AC voltage, and as switching. This type of research is research and development, which is developing a basic application instrument for bipolar transistors. The testing to bipolar transistor elementary application instrument use measuring instrument of microampere meter, voltmeter, a generator function, and digital oscilloscope. The reached result indicates that this instrument can prove to gain the current and gain voltage of the transistor. That thing is seen from existence mean gain current 119,99 - 480. While voltage gain 1,46 - 5,29. Transistor application for switching found the fact that transistor starts to have as switching at the voltage base-emitter 0,58 - 0,7 Volt, the result is equal to a bipolar transistor barrier voltage to emission a current from pin emitter to pin collector.

Abstract

 The purpose of this research was to describe teaching-learning interaction in teaching physics by applying cooperative teaching in terms of the type of group investigation by the first-year students at SMAN 1 Tambang Kampar. The research instrument used in this research was observation sheet. It was used by aspect observed based on cooperative teaching in terms of the type of group investigation. The model aims to motivate the student, to set the problem in the group, to report the result of group activities, and conclude the lesson. The technic of data collection was by observing teaching-learning interaction, which happened in each aspect observed every two minutes during the teaching process. The data analysis was by counting the percentage of teaching-learning interaction. The result of this research showed that the interaction of teaching-learning between teachers and students, students and teachers, students, and students happened to each step in teaching activity. The highest percentage of teaching-learning interaction was in the problem-solving of group activity. Hence, cooperative teaching in term of the type of group investigation is able to create teaching-learning interaction which various in teaching.
