Abstract

AbstractAnemia is a micronutrient problem that occurs throughout the world especially in developing countries which is estimated to occur in 30% of the world's population. As a result of lack of hemoglobin levels causes symptoms of lethargy, fatigue and tired quickly when doing activities that will have an impact on decreased concentration and learning achievement, and in the long run it will have an impact on the quality of human resources, where young women are the future generation of the nation which will later supports determining the next generation. The results of basic health research in 2013 anemia in adolescent girls increased to 48.9% in 2018. Data from the Health Office in Jambi City in 2017 as many as 257 adolescent girls who experienced anemia, increased to 404 people in 2018. The purpose of this community service is to provide information to adolescents about anemia and the importance of consuming blood-added tablets. The method used in this community service is lecture, question and answer discussion. This community service was held on February 13-14, 2019 at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The result of this community service is the increasing knowledge of young women about anemia and the benefits of consuming blood-added tablets.

Abstract

The first 1000 days of life (HPK) movement is a movement to accelerate nutritional improvement. In this period the child's brain develops rapidly, although the human brain will continue to develop and can experience changes throughout life, but at this time the fastest development. The Indonesian government has committed and worked hard to accelerate the improvement of nutrition for the lives of children of the nation's next generation. The government's commitment has been stated through government regulation No. 42 of 2013 concerning the national movement to improve nutrition. Community service aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of pregnant women and mothers of children under the age of 1,000 HPK nutrition as a critical period that must be considered. Counseling method using the first 1000 days of the booklet of life published by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Community service is followed by pregnant women and mothers who have toddlers in the class of pregnant women and toddlers, held in November-December 2019 at BPM Rosmala Aini. The result of this community service is an increase in maternal understanding of the importance of nutrition from pregnancy to 2-year-old children, and it is hoped that the coverage of mothers giving breastfeeding in the first hour and exclusive breastfeeding increases

Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death and many types of cancer occur in women. The incidence of breast cancer increases with age, however, young age is not a safe guarantee of breast cancer. The high incidence of breast cancer resulted in not a few sufferers of breast cancer that led to death. Signs and symptoms of breast cancer can be found as early as possible, the higher the cure rate. Breast self-examination (BSE) is one effective step if done as early as possible when women reach reproductive age. The purpose of community service is that teenagers consciously want to do breast self-examination routinely every month so as to reduce and reduce the risk of breast cancer. The method used by giving counseling and demonstration about BSE techniques to young women. An indicator of the success of this activity is that young women are able and able to conduct self-examination. Community service is carried out in Sungai Putri, Danau Sipin Sub-district, Jambi City on December 2018 - January 2019. The results of this activity are all young women understand and understand and can do their own breast examination (BSE).

Abstract

Anemia is the impact of nutritional problems on young women which affect the decrease in concentration and learning achievement. The prevalence of anemia among adolescents in Indonesia is 32%, meaning that 3-4 out of 10 adolescents suffer from anemia. This is influenced by habits and nutritional intake that is not optimal and lack of physical activity. It is necessary to prevent anemia considering the long-term impact of young women is the nation's next generation which will determine the next generation. Dates contain iron which plays a very important role in the formation of red blood cells, the iron content in 100 grams of dates is around 280 calories and various nutrients, one of which is 1 mg of iron. This community service aims to increase youth knowledge about anemia, prevention of anemia, the content and benefits of dates. This community service method is lecture and discussion. The media used for counseling are leaflets, PPT. to measure knowledge (pre-test and post-test) with a questionnaire. held at the Baiturrahim Health Vocational School, Jambi City, in January 2022, attended by 35 participants. The result of this community service is an increase in students' knowledge about anemia, prevention, content and benefits of dates. It is hoped that young women can apply clean and healthy living behaviors as an effort to prevent anemia
