Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the service quality Electronic Identity Card at the Office of Population and Civil Registration Palu. This research is classified as descriptive research. With a qualitative approach. This research was held at the Office of Population and Civil Registration Palu. The theory is used to measure the quality of service is a theory proposed by Tjiptono (1995: 14), dimensional quality of service includes Courtesy and hospitality, Responsibility, Convenience, Comfort, and Completeness Facility. This type of data consists of primary data and secondary data. Retrieval and Data Collection is done through observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by means of data collection, data presentation and inference. These results indicate that the quality of service indicators Courtesy and hospitality in Service and Ease indicators already showed a good condition. While indicators of responsibility, comfort, and indicators Complete facilities need to be improved or that are in unsatisfactory condition.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this activity is to provide information about how the Prospect of Palm Plant Development (Arenga pinnata Merr) for food and energy security as well as processed products from palm trees, so that it is useful for the community, encouraging community awareness and awareness to preserve the environment. This activity was carried out in Buluh Awar Village, Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency, involving the community in Buluh Awar Village and the Teaching Staff of the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Biology Education Study Program, Teaching and Education Faculty, Labuhan Batu University, Postgraduate Study Program in Agrotechnology, Faculty Agriculture of the University of North Sumatra and the Faculty of Forestry of the University of North Sumatra. Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Muhammadiyah University, South Tapanuli, Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Graha Nusantara University, Padang Sidempuan. The main problem is the planting of sugar palm, which is generally not yet cultivated so that crop productivity is low and it is feared the plant population will decline. Since sugar palm plants have economic, social, cultural and conservation functions, it is wise to cultivate sugar palm and rehabilitate plants that grow naturally and irregularly in order to increase plant productivity. The results of the activity show that the cultivation of palm sugar plant has good hopes or prospects in the future. Processed products from palm plants such as sugar, drinks, and vinegar can be used to improve food security, while bioethanol can be used as an alternative energy source.

The school garden can be used for planting various types of plants. So that the use of land is more optimal, then one of the efforts that can be done is to invite students to plant various types of plants, such as vegetables, ornamental plants and fruits as well as medicinal plants. These plants can be placed in the school garden, both in the front and in the back. This activity aimed to provide environmental education for early childhood through planting various types of plants and introducing various types of plants in early childhood and to increase the type of vegetation/plants in the front and back yards of TK Khansa to make it look greener and more beautiful. There were some steps of activities, namely: preparation of planting media, planting, and harvesting of fast-growing type of vegetables. Based on the results of the activities, that the children were very enthusiastic and very happy through planting various types of plants in their school grounds. In addition, with this activity, the situation and the conditions in the Khansa Kindergarten School environment becomes more beautiful with the planting of various plants in the front and back yards of the school and become comfortable with the presence of various types of flowers and other plants.

Abstract

The number of rivers and canals in most parts of Indonesia is large enough to be developed into a micro-hydro power plant. The Archimedes srcew turbine (Archimedes scew turbine AST) has been implemented to convert hydroelectric energy since the 1990s. Many variables affect the performance of Archimedes screw turbines such as pitch ratio, immersion rate, water flow and turbine shaft angle. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the turbine shaft inclination angle (25-35o) on the rotation, current and voltage produced by the screw turbine. The screw turbine has a diameter of 260 mm with a shaft length of 1200 mm and a pitch distance of 200 mm. The flow rate of water is used at 0,0065 m3/s to rotate a low speed generator. The results showed that the higher the turbine shaft angle resulted in an increase in rotation, voltage and current produced. The optimum angle is obtained at a turbine angle of 35o which produces 2,058 Watts at 243 rpm.
