Abstract

The young generation becomes the hope of the nation and religion. If the young generation does not have good morals, they certainly cannot be leaders in the future. This is what happened at this time, many young people whose lives were only faltering without remembering their self-awareness and responsibility to become a moral and educated young generation.In realizing moral youth it takes a process that is committed to fostering especially to teach young people the importance of instilling Islamic values in themselves. If you don't have good morals, surely the young man will be destroyed and perish. Why can this be so, because we see the character of today's youth very weak and helpless because they are manipulated by the use of drugs.We see, especially throughout the city of Medan sub-district, how many millions of young people have their future destroyed due to the use of narcotics. This problem is a dilemma that must be able to be opposed by a useful science and fostering a religious attitude that can make the generation of teenage mosques to be smart in fighting drugs.Thus, religious attitudes are very important to be applied to adolescent mosques that are fostered through Muhammadiyah youth by helping to overcome the problem of drug abuse. This is the hope of all of us, how to be able to guide Muhammadiyah youth with Islamic values so that the young generation of the nation can stay away from actions that damage their future.

Abstract

As a person who is in love with the Muhammadiyah organization, we must understand some of the Muhammadiyah movements that are the pioneers of the revival of the ummah. First, Muhammadiyah is the movement of Islam. Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah was built by KH Ahmad Dahlan as concrete results from the study and deepening (tadabbur) of the Alquranul Karim. This factor is actually the most important factor that drives the establishment of Muhammadiyah.From the founding background of Muhammadiyah as above, it is clear that the actual birth of Muhammadiyah was none other than inspired, motivated, and encouraged by the teachings of the Koran because it also had no other motives except solely to realize the principles of Islamic teachings. Everything that Muhammadiyah does, both in the fields of education and teaching, community, household, economy, and so on cannot be separated from efforts to realize and implement Islamic teachings. Strictly speaking, the Muhammadiyah movement wants to try to present the face of Islam in a real, concrete and tangible form, which can be experienced, felt, and enjoyed by the ummah as rahmatan lil’alamin.Thus, Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah are movements of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar which are based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah.

Abstract

Menjadi seorang penceramah tidaklah begitu mudah untuk dilaksanakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Artinya setiap penceramah harus memahami syarat, rukun dan ketentuan yang sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. Kita melihat saat ini Muhammadiyah membutuhkan komitmen yang tinggi dalam memajukan dakwah Muhamaadiyah. Karena yang terjadi saat ini, masih ada sebagaian kader Muhammadiyah yang belum memamahi bagaimana menjadi penceramah yang benar dan baik, misalkan saat menjadi khatib dalam menjalankan ibadah shalat jumat. Maka dengan demikian, dibutuhkan keilmuan agama yang sangat berpengaruh dalam menyampaikan kutbah jumat sesuai dengan ajaran Alquran dan As-Sunnah. Melihat perkembangan dakwah Muhammadiyah saat ini, kita sebagai kader harus mempunyai visi dan misi yang sama dalam kemajuan organisasi Muhammadiyah. Hal ini bisa dilaksanakan dengan saling berbagi ilmu pengetahuan agama terutama dalam tata cara syarat dan rukun kutbah. Untuk kami dari tim pengabdian membuat suatu kegiatan yang sangat bermanfaat bagi kita semua, yaitu melakukan pembinaan kutbah Jumat sesuai tarjih Muhammadiyah dicabang Muhammadiyah Teladan Kecamatan Medan Kota.

Abstract

This research begins with the needs of Muhammadiyah and 'Aisyiyah cadres in improving the progress of Muhammadiyah's da'wah. Based on the conditions of the problems that occur in Muhammadiyah recitations, it is necessary to have a maximum evaluation to continue to improve Muhammadiyah da'wah, so that the Muhammadiyah organization is more advanced. The research method used is participatory descriptive. Based on the results of interviews and observations made by researchers, it was concluded that it could increase the reactivity of Muhammadiyah and 'Aisyiyah administrators so that recitation activities run optimally. This research activity was carried out by studying Kemuhammadiyahan, explaining the activities of Muhammadiyah branches in each sub-district, evaluating every Muhammadiyah cadre and 'Aisyiyah in recitation activities to improve Muhammadiyah da'wah. Suggestions from the research, it is hoped that all branch and branch managers in each sub-district will continue to be active in recitation, social and community activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a map of the needs of UMSU students for Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) courses. This type of research is qualitative research that uses survey techniques. Data collection was carried out by questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis techniques used are; describe the data, analyze, and interpret, and conclude. The results showed that the map of the needs of UMSU students for AIK courses were: 1) Students with religious understanding backgrounds other than Muhammadiyah (92 people/76.8%) of the 396 respondents stated that the provision of Worship courses, in particular, not through doctrine and coercion, but must pay attention to the background of the religious understanding they already profess. 2) Non-Muslim students generally state that Worship courses are not taught in the form of doctrine as given to Muslim students but must consider their religious background, and AIK courses should be taught in the form of Islamology courses, or the like. 3) Students from Muhammadiyah schools tend to want the provision of AIK courses to be packaged with other programs. Or by combining face-to-face in class with more interesting programs, not just face-to-face routines. 4) Most of the respondents stated that learning strategies and methods need to be adapted to the needs of students.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah adalah Gerakan Islam dengan melaksanakan amar maruf nahi munkar. Setiap kader Muhammadiyah mempunyai tanggung jawab dalam bidang dakwah, agar visi dan misi Muhammadiyah terwujudkan dengan maksimal. Muhammadiyah merupakan pintu gerbang organisasi yang memberikan nilai moral dan sosial untuk kemaslahatan umat di Indonesia. Dengan salahsatu fungis organisasi ini bisa menjadikan Negara Indonesia menjadi Negara yang maju, adil dan sejahtera. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengauatan ideologi Muhammadiyah bagi para kader Muhammadiyah dan simpatisan serta mempunyai dai yang tangguh dalam memajukan Muhammadiyah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil dalam dicapai dalam pengabdian ini ialah; 1) Meningkatkanya jumlah kader, 2) Meningkatnya pemahaman kader persyarikatan terhadap ideologi persyariakatan Muhammadiyah, 3) Dai Muhammadiyah semakin aktif dalam berdakwah untuk kemajuan persyarikatan dan umat

Abstract

The long-term objectives of this research are; Provide input to policy makers at Muhammadiyah University in order to direct the academic community (especially female students) to wear clothes and hijabs that are in accordance with the actual Shari'a. The specific target to be achieved from this research is to provide input and encourage female students to improve their motivation in wearing the hijab which is part of Islamic teachings, namely covering their genitals, and at the same time encouraging female students to increase their knowledge about religion. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, using a phenomenological approach and type of research. Data collection used in the study were interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted to explore the motivation of female students to wear the hijab and to explore their religious understanding. While the observations were carried out in order to see firsthand how the models and patterns of wearing the hijab were carried out. The activity plan is carried out through stages consisting of: data collection as well as data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and data verification. The results of the study explain that students at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra have understood the obligation to wear the hijab with the aim of maintaining aurat and protecting themselves from committing sins.Keywords: Motivating, Understanding, and veiled student
