Abstract

The purpose of education in Indonesia from time to time always includes the character or moral values in the students. This is no exception also in the latest curriculum changes, better known as Kurtilas. Changes in the educational curriculum agendas that regularly take place in order to improve the quality of education in Indonesia with the main theme of building a nation's character. Of course this should be implemented in a more operational level, ie in learning activities. Of the many learning materials, learning rhymes turns deviate huge potential in an effort to build character or good values, with values or moral message contained in rhyme.

Abstract

A Short story is a miniature of people's experience while the characters, plot, and setting aim to record imaginative events (Stanton, 2017). When making up story ideas, students have problems developing story facts such as plot, characters, and settings (Sayuti, 2006). This barrier emerged conflicts that were unevenly distributed across all stages of the course. The direct characterization employed in storytelling made the short stories less varied. The physical and setting depicted did not work out optimally. The advantage of using the synectic model is that it can allow students to look for and makeup concepts to describe objects through an analogy process. Augmented Reality allows users to interact with an object's interface and see it in a well-designed and attractive 3D format, so it can solve student difficulties in developing story ideas in writing short stories

Abstract

Profesionalisme, adalah sebutan yang mengacu kepada sikap mental dalam bentukkomitmen dari para anggota suatu profesi untuk senantiasa mewujudkan dan meningkatkankualitas profesionalnya. Seorang guru yang memiliki profesionalisme yang tinggi akantercermin dalam sikap mental serta komitmenya terhadap perwujudan dan peningkatankualitas profesional melalui berbagai cara dan strategi. Ia akan selalu mengembangkandirinya sesuai dengan tuntutan perkembangan zaman sehingga keberadaannya senantiasamemberikan makna profesional. Sementara itu, guru kalbu merupakan derajat tertinggi dalamjenjang penampilan kinerja guru. Dalam kinerjanya, guru kalbu akan memancarkan sinar danenergi getar yang bersumber dari keyakinan agama, kebenaran, keharuan rasa, cinta kasihsayang, rendah hati, bersyukur, serta keterpaduan jiwa dan raga secara terintegrasi dansinergitas.

Abstract

Karya sastra tercipta karena adanya pengalaman batin pengarang berupa peristiwa atau problem dunia yang menarik sehingga muncul gagasan imajinasi yang dituangkan dalam bentuk tulisan dan karya sastra. Karya sastra menyumbangkan tata nilai, figur, dan tatanan tuntutan masyarakat. Hal ini merupakan ikatan timbal balik antara karya sastra dengan masyarakat, walaupun karya sastra tersebut berupa fiksi, tetapi pada kenyataannya, sastra juga mampu memberikan manfaat yang berupa nilai-nilai moral bagi pembacanya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analis menggunakan teori Roland Barthes, setelah dikaji dalam perspektif leksis hermeneutik, proaretik, simbolik, gnomik, semik, karakter Raihana digambarkan sebagai wanita tabah dalam novel memenuhi kriteria sikap kritis seorang istri yang menemukan kejanggalan dalam sikap suami. Usaha-usaha yang dilakukan oleh Raihana untuk menyadarkan suaminya juga sudah tepat. Hal yang tidak relevan dengan feminisme dalam diri Raihana sebagai sosok wanita solehah yang digambarkan dalam novel terletak pada keinginannya untuk tidak bercerai dan tidak mengadukan permasalahannya pada hakim. Hal ini membuat kesengsaraan dalam pernikahannya selama hayatnya

Abstract

This study entitled "Correlation of Reading Interest with Poetry Writing Skills". Lack of students' skills in writing poetry is the background of this research. The facts show that the test scores on poetry writing competence are low, the number of book borrowers is low, and students' interest in reading is low. This condition is a challenge for teachers so that students master the material being taught by achieving KKM. The method used in this study is descriptive correlational using quantitative. It intends to describe the relationship between writing poetry and students' reading scores. The population in this study were all class VIII students at SMPN 1 Selaawi Garut for the 2021/2022 academic year, which consisted of 11 classes. The sample used was taken randomly from each class, namely three people per class. If the total sample in this study is 33 students. The results obtained are as follows. First, an overview of the interest in reading of Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Selaawi Garut for the 2021/2022 academic year, namely 8 students (24%) are in the high category, 17 students (51%) are in the medium category, and 8 students ( 24%) are in the low category. Second, an overview of students' poetry writing skills, namely 18 students (18%) are in the high category, 27 students (82%) are in the medium category. Third, there is a significant relationship between reading interest and students' poetry writing skills based on the r test of 0.8, which means very strong. The implications of this research are expected to be used as a reference for teachers in learning to write poetry.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze news texts in Liputan6.com media through Roger Fowler's critical discourse analysis model. The background of this research was carried out as a form of researchers' anxiety about the development of information in digital media. Discourse has a great influence in conveying information on events that occur in society so this research needs to be done. This model is divided into two parts, namely vocabulary and grammar. The theory used is that vocabulary makes classifications and vocabulary limits view. Grammar affects the form of the passive voice and the interpretation that occurs in the news. This research is descriptive in nature. This research design was chosen because through this research it is possible to get an overview of how media build media. The data taken in this study is qualitative data, namely data in the form of news text from the online media Liputan6.com. The selected news is only news about news that occurs in the community. The results of this study indicate (1) The use of limiting words in five news stories, namely there are eighteen words that limit views and are invited to think about understanding the news. (2) The use of passive sentence grammar contained in the five news stories, namely there are seven effect passive sentences which contain the information obtained or the meaning produced in the news. (3) There are five interpretations of the news which have their own views in expressing all matters related to the information to be conveyed.
