Abstract

The learning process in the chemistry for junior high school course emphasizes the concept discovery process, so inquiry learning is one alternative solution that can be done. The purpose of this study is to develop inquiry-based chemistry for junior high school course modules along with performance assessment. This research includes development research (Research and Development) which is generally divided into three stages, namely draft development, validation, and readability test. In the development phase of the draft module, a questionnaire, observation, and documentation technique were selected, in addition to the literature review (theory and previous research). The validation stage used validation sheets and interviews. In the readability, the phase uses the module readability questionnaire. The results showed that the developed and valid SMP chemistry modules were used from the aspects of objectives to be achieved, writing approach, truth, and depth of concepts, language clarity, the suitability of inquiry models with learning stages, physical appearance and appropriateness of performance appraisal with the learning process if the module was applied. The readability test results show that students give positive responses to the module in terms of their interest in content and appearance, renewability of content, interest in solving problems, ease of understanding the content and direction of completion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan website pendaftaran kegiatan Praktek Pengenalan Lapangan (PPL) dan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) mahasiswa FKIP Untan yang valid dan layak digunakan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan bentuk waterfall yang memiliki empat tahapan, yaitu Analisis, Design, Coding dan Testing. Alat pengumpul data adalah lembar validasi penilaian dan angket respon pengguna website. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website yang dikembangkan valid dan layak digunakan ditinjau dari tampilan, proses pendaftaran, kemudahan akses dan pertahanan sistem dari virus dan pembobolan data serta pengguna memberikan respon positif yang tinggi dari penggunaan website dalam proses pendaftaran. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa website yang dikembangkan valid dan layak digunakan dalam proses pendaftaran peserta PPL dan KKN.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to improve the activity and student learning outcomes in learning chemistry material especially hydrocarbons using cooperative learning model type chips talking with media aided molymod simple. This research is a classroom action research that teachers as teachers and researchers along with four observers observe the process of learning that takes as much as two cycles. Subjects in this study were class XB SMA Negeri 4 Sungai Raya consists of 33 students. Data was collected by using a measurement technique of learning outcomes and observations. Indicators of success of this study of pre-action to do the first cycle and the second cycle is an increase in activity and student learning outcomes of ≥50%. The results showed that the use of cooperative learning model talking chips aided simple molymod media can increase the activity and student learning outcomes. The percentage of student activity increased from 31.66% in the first cycle to 51.66% in the second cycle. The percentage of student learning outcomes increased from 48.48% in the first cycle to 84.84% in the second cycle. Key Words:Talking chips, Molymod, Hidrokarbon,Activity, Student learning.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the students’ scientific work skills before and after implementing the guided inquiry model and determine whether there are differences in the scientific work skills of students on environmental pollution material. This is a pre-experimental study on seven grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Babussalam Peniraman, of which 27 students took part as the research subjects. Data collection tools used were scientific work skills tests, observation sheets, and interview guidelines, while the Wilcoxon test was used to analyze scientific work skills before and after the guided inquiry model was applied. Analysis results of students’ scientific work before applying the learning model were in the less skilled category by 32% and unskilled by 68%. Meanwhile, the analysis results of the skills after implementing the guided inquiry model were in the highly-skilled, skilled and less skilled categories 33.3%, 29.2%, and 37.5% respectively. Wilcoxon test results showed that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) was 0,000, which means less than 0.05 (<0.05). In conclusion, there are differences in the scientific work skills of seven grade students of MTs Babussalam Peniraman in learning environmental pollution material before and after the guided inquiry model was applied.Keywords:   Guided Inquiry, Scientific Work Skills, and Environmental Pollution

Abstract

AbstractThis research have the purpose to determine skill differentiation of science process, before and after studying guided inquiry learning model at salt hydrolysis material. This research also have the purpose to know the impact of science process skill of the  XI MIPA SMAS Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak students. This research used pre-experimental design method with design One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Data collecting  were executed by measuring technique, direct observation, and direct communication. Wilcoxon result  showed that there are differentiation between science process skill of the students before and after the application of guided inquiry learning model. By using effect size Glass,  the calculation result showed that there are the influence of science process skill of the students before and after the application of guided inquiry learning model about 80,98%.  Keywords: Guided Inquiry, Science Process Skill, and Salt  Hydrolysis.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan buku ajar dengan pendekatan konstruktivistik dan multirepresentasi pada materi pemisahan campuran kelas VII SMP yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil uji ahli (expert judgement). Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian dan pengembangan dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: melakukan penelitian pendahuluan untuk mengumpulkan informasi, melakukan perencanaan dan mengembangkan jenis/bentuk produk awal. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah SMP Negeri 11, SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak, dan SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket kelayakan buku ajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, persentase kelayakan rata-rata buku ajar yang dikembangkan sebesar 84.99 % ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, kebahasaan dan kegrafikan berturut-turut: 83,33%, 83,75%, 87,5%, 85,41%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: buku ajar, pemisahan campuran, konstruktivistik, multirepresentasi.   Abstract : The aim of this research was to know the feasibility of mixture separation textbook based on constructivist and multiple representation for VIIth SMPN in Pontianak. The form of this research was research and development (R&D) which are consist of preliminary research and information collecting, planning, and develop preliminary form and product. Research subjects are SMPN 11 Pontianak, SMPN 10 Pontianak, and SMPN 6 Pontianak. A Sampling technique that used was purposive sampling. An instrument that is used in this research was textbook feasibility questionnaire. Results of the research shown that the average of feasibility percentage 84,99% consider from content, presentation, language, and graph feasibility respectively: 83,33%, 83,75%, 87,5%, 85,41%. Thereby, it can be concluded that the textbook which developed were very suitable to use as a learning material in learning process. Abstract

AbstarctThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of concept attainment approach with conceptual change text on molecular shape materials toward the learning outcomes of students SMAN 1 Sungai Pinyuh. Research form was a quasi-experimental research design with non equivalent control group pretest-postest design. The sampling method used purposive sampling, where the X MIPA 2 class was chosen  as an experimental class and the X MIPA 3 class as the control class. Data collection’s tool used the achievement test in the form of an short answer. Test result by U-Mann Whitney (=0,05) obtained significant 0,000, indicating that there was a difference between the learning outcomes of student who were tought using a concept attainment approach with conceptual change text and students be taught by conventional methode in the molecular shape materials. Concept attainment approach with conceptual change text gave a high influence with effect size value by 1,48. Therefore concept attainment approach with conceptual change text influence students learning outcomes by 56.78%. Keyword: Concept Attainment Approach, Conceptual Change Text, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah, serta mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar siswa sesudah diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran quantum teaching pada materi koloid kelas XI IPA SMA Panca Bahkti Pontianak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental dengan rancangan penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA. Alat pengumpulan data berupa test hasil belajar dan angket motivasi siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil data menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran quantum teaching pada materi koloid kelas XI IPA SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak. Hasil angket motivasi belajar sebesar 82,60% yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki motivasi yang sangat kuat dengan penerapan model pembelajaran quantum teaching.   Kata kunci : quantum teaching, motivasi, hasil belajar Abstract : This study purposed to determine the difference in student learning outcomes before and after the treatment given as well as describing the student's motivation after treated by using quantum teaching model in colloid subject in class XI SMA Panca Bahkti Pontianak. This type of research is pre-experimental research design with One-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were students of class XI IPA. The data collection tools are the results of students' test and motivation questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The data result shows there are differences in learning outcome before and after the quantum teaching learning model in colloid subject was given in XI grade SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak. The results in the motivation questionnaire is up to 82.60%, which shows that students have a strong motivation with the application of quantum teaching learning model. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui self-efficacy guru, hasil belajar siswa serta hubungan antara self-efficacy guru dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA se-Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang. Lima guru kimia dan hasil ulangan umum kimia siswa kelas X se-kecamatan Sungai Ambawang menjadi subjek penelitian. Bentuk penelitian adalah deskriptif korelasional. Self-efficacy guru diukur menggunakan angket pernyataan positif, diadaptasi dari instrumen yang dikembangkan peneliti di Ohio State University. Terdiri dari 3 dimensi yaitu manajemen kelas, strategi instruksional, dan keterlibatan siswa. Hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari ulangan umum semester ganjil dan genap tahun 2014/2015. Analisis korelasi diuji menggunakan statistik korelasi Spearman-Brown. Hasil analisis menunjukkan self-efficacy guru dalam kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 98,6. Kemampuan belajar siswa dalam kategori cukup dengan persentase 56,27%. Hubungan self-efficacy guru, dimensi manajemen kelas, strategi instruksional, dan keterlibatan siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan koefisien korelasi berturut-turut 0,900; 0,975; 0,949; 0,900.   Kata Kunci: Self-efficacy, Manajemen, Instruksional, keterlibatan, Hasil belajar. Abstract. This study aims to know teacher?s self-efficacy, students? learning outcome, and relationship between teacher?s self-efficacy and learning outcome of year -10 students senior high school in subdistrict Sungai Ambawang. Five chemistry teachers and chemistry test results of year - 10 students subject of research. Form of research is correlational descriptive. Teachers self-efficacy was investigated using positive statement questionnaire, adapted from instrument developed researchers of Ohio State University. Consists 3 including classroom management, instructional strategy, and student?s engagement. The Student?s test results taken the final test first and second semester in academic years 2014/2015. Correlation analysis was tested using spearman-brown correlation statistic. The result showed teacher?s efficacy was high with average score 98,6. Student?s achievement was in the fair category percentage 56,67%. Correlation between teachers efficacy, dimensions classroom management, instruksional strategy, students engagement, and students? achievement showed positif significant relationship with correlational coefficient in a row 0,900; 0,975; 0,949; 0,900. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi identifikasi asam basa serta perbedaan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one grup pretest-posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengukuran dan teknik komunikasi langsung. Setelah dilakukan olah data, hasil pretest menunjukan bahwa keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa berada pada kategori tidak terampil, kurang terampil, dan terampil secara berturut-turut sebesar 5,41%, 78,38%, dan 16,22%, sedangkan hasil posttest menunjukan bahwa keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa berada pada kategori kurang terampil,  terampil,  dan  sangat  terampil  secara  berturut-turut  sebesar  2,70%, 51,35%, dan 45,95%. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukan terdapat perbedaan keterampilan kerja ilmiah sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran.   Kata kunci: keterampilan kerja ilmiah, inkuiri terbimbing, identifikasi asam basa   Abstract: This aimed of this study is to describe the profile of scientific work skills of students before and after the guided inquiry learning model is applied to the material identification acids and bases as well as different scientific working skills of students SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak academic year 2015/2016. This study uses a pre-experimental research design one group pretest-posttest. The sample in this study were students of class XI IPA 1 by sampling using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using measurement techniques and techniques of direct communication. After data processing, the results show that the pretest scientific work skills of students that are in the category of unskilled, less skilled, and unskilled respectively by 5.41%, 78.38%, and 16.22%, while the results show that the posttest scientific work skills of students that are in the category of less-skilled, skilled and highly skilled in a row amounted to 2.70%, 51.35%, and 45.95%. Wilcoxon test results showed there were differences of scientific work skills before and after learning.   Keywords: scientific work skills, guided inquiry, identification of acid-base
