Abstract

Abstract

Startup-related issues have been growing in recent years due to their massive publication in the media. The growth numbers of startup companies globally, especially in Indonesia, have shown an astonishing figure. Valuation is one of many issues that revolve around startups. This study examines valuation fraud that leads to Ponzi Scheme in startup companies by using Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) as the valuation indicator. Scoping review was employed to identify and map literature that links to this study’s topic comprehensively through many sources. Venture capitalists and management teams play a key role in valuing startups. Financial academics suggest general valuation models, such as Net Present Value (NPV) and Discounted Cash Flows (DCF), are not used to value startups. They tend to value their company subjectively, which doesn’t represent startup true economic values. They use their advantages on information asymmetry excessively, leading to overvaluing the startup’s values. This study concludes that using subjective factors and limiting a startup’s economic and performance information disclosure by only disclosing Gross Merchandise Value will lead to startup valuation fraud in the form of the Ponzi Scheme.

Abstract

Introduction on food sanitation hygiene is an effort to control the factors of food, people, places and equipment that can or may cause illness or health problems. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Analysis of Food Sanitation Hygiene at Sultan Iskandar Muda Regional General Hospital, Nagan Raya Regency. This research is a qualitative study conducted at Sultan Iskandar Muda Regional General Hospital, Nagan Raya Regency, when the research was conducted in January 2019. Research informants as many as 12 people namely, 9 food handlers, 1 program implementer, and 2 patients, taken by purposive sampling. The results showed the overall results of food sanitation hygiene, especially in the room, were quite good because they had storage, cooking and serving food, but still had water deposits because they did not have slope / slope so the floor was slippery, infrastructure was inadequate because of the aids used, PPE that has not been well used, the food is counted pretty good because the storage is separate but certainly not contaminated because the food served is sometimes in direct contact with hands, and HR food handlers are inadequate because each sift consists of three people who process, serve and deliver food. Conclusion sanitation hygiene has been counted as good, however it is necessary to make improvements to be declared good overall. It is recommended to the officers in charge of the hospital to pay more attention to sanitary hygiene, both food and others.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a difference between students who read using computer-assisted reading and those who do not. Students' reading ability may depend on what they do every day. There are some students who understand vocabulary better by listening than what is written. reading while listening may be another way to overcome students' reading comprehension, There are some students who will memorize vocabulary for a long time because the vocabulary is often found in several sentences, and Some students will also easily memorize a lot of vocabulary because of the use of online dictionaries. With this, the researcher used lexical-tutor where there are audio-assisted reading, concordance, and online dictionary. For the learning process, researchers use inquiry based learning which focuses on student activity. For data collection, the researcher gave a question sheet based on what had been studied previously. The teaching materials are taken from the corpus in the lexical-tutor application    Research subject are selected from the student's representative on the basis of the student's English language skills. In order to understand whether students have an impact on their reading understanding of second-grade students, researchers use one-on-one T-TT test samples, as well as independent sample tests, to see if students use survey-based computer-aided reading to understand scores that differ from non-users. Based on the results of this study, the results of the study were then analyzed with paired TT-Test specimens, resulting in a Sig(2-Tailed) value of 0.052 > 0.05, while the data analyzed by the independent specimen test resulted in 679 >0.05. It can be concluded that there is no effect and no difference between survey-based learning with computer-assisted reading and reading without computer-assisted reading. In terms of individual scores, the findings suggest little progress. The researchers' monitoring results showed that not all students enjoyed reading while listening to audio. It is my hope that through this study, future researchers will be able to examine the learning process and the techniques used. In addition, more researchers can also take advantage of this research in the form of offline classes.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a disease with changes in the shape and concentration of feces, which softens until melted, and increases the frequency of bowel movements more than normal (3 times or more a day). Data from Tanoh Manyang Village in 2014 showed the proportion of diar-rhea in infants was 12% of 144 children, in 2015 26% of 156 children, in 2016 as many as 40% of 343 children. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of maternal culture on the incidence of infectious diseases (diarrhea) in infants. The population in this study 138, with sampling using total sampilng. This type of analytic survey research with cross sectional approach, data analysis using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate. Chi-square test results showed that mothers 'knowledge and attitudes as well as clean and healthy life behaviors of mothers affected the incidence of diarrhea in infants (p <0.05), while the results of multivariate logistic regression tests showed that mothers' clean and healthy life behavior had a stronger influence on incidence of diarrhea in toddlers with Exp (B) value of 38, 201. Conclusions from the results of multivariate regression tests the mother's clean and healthy behavior has a strong influence on the incidence of diarrhea in infants. It is suggested that related agencies can increase health promotion in the form of counseling to the community so as to increase knowledge of clean and healthy living behavior in preventing infectious diseases, especially the incidence of diarrhea in infants.
