Abstract

There are many studies about factors influencing the hospital service quality. They’re focused on those aspects of the services directly felt by the patient. Problems that cause the low service quality had been studying, continually. In this preliminary study, factors influencing the service quality that are related to clinical human resources competency are explored. Factors that mediate the relationship between human resource competency and service quality, namely job satisfaction, also discussed in this study so as to obtain a comprehensive picture of the factors that cause the service quality. This study is an exploratory study. A single case study was executed at a private hospital in Bandung. A number of semi-structured interviews were executed with a number of doctors, hospital managers and nurses. Questionnaires were distributed to a number of nurses. The results showed that the the clinical human resource competency influences the hospital service quality through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Rumah sakit memegang peranan penting bagi pertumbuhan suatu negara. Kualitas layanan rumah sakit yang buruk menyebabkan permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat tidak terselesaikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai kualitas layanan bagian rawat inap rumah sakit di Bandung. Bagaimanapun, pengukuran yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan persepsi pasien dapat menghasilkan gambaran mengenai kualitas layanan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Rumah sakit umum telah dihubungi untuk menjadi objek penelitian ini. Rumah sakit beragam dalam hal kepemilikannya, yaitu sebagai rumah sakit milik swasta dan milik pemerintah. Hanya 6 dari 19 rumah sakit yang tertarik dan bersedia meluangkan waktu untuk diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan rumah sakit relatif sudah baik. Namun, terdapat keluhan yang cukup signifikan mengenai kurangnya waktu yang disediakan oleh dokter, rumah sakit tidak secara kontinyu memberikan informasi mengenai penyakit pasien, termasuk informasi mengenai kemungkinan komplikasinya, dan kurangnya kebijakan rumah sakit dalam melatih dan menjelaskan tentang cara menangani rasa sakit.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan pada organisasi pemerintahan semakin diakui perannya dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Sebagai salah satu organisasi yang berfungsi melakukan perencanaan dan pengembangan penelitian untuk pembangunan daerah, maka Bappeda Kota Bandung membutuhkan pemimpin yang mampu menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepemimpinan transaksional terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda) di Kota Bandung. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik sensus pada seluruh pegawai Bappeda kota Bandung yang berjumlah 88 orang. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional pada kinerja pegawai. Kepemimpinan transaksional lebih besar pengaruhnya dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Penelitian berikutnya diharapkan dapat menggunakan metode yang berbeda agar lebih jelas kontribusi kepemimpinan pada kinerja pegawai pada organisasi pemerintah.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Small Business Enterprise (SME) throughout the Asian economy, especially in Indonesia is partly due to the rapidly developing information technology. The internet has become an important business tool, to the point where even SME utilize e-commerce. SMEs in Indonesia are proven to be the most dynamic and vibrant sector. The use of e-commerce is increasingly widespreading among young people and teenagers. Students–especially college students–are becoming more interested in doing entrepreneurship in between their classes. This research was conducted on students at Pasundan University to determine the influence of e-commerce implementation and student competence on the success of their business. Abstract

This study gathers empirical evidence on the influence of green human resource management, green training, and the role of government in encouraging green human capital to improve green performance. The author conducted this study using a survey of 91 startup businesses in Indonesia as the sample, selected using a purposive sampling method. Data were collected using questionnaires. After collection, the author tested the validity and reliability of the data prior to hypotheses testing. Data analysis for hypothesis testing adopted partial least squares regression. Results indicate that green human capital management, green training, and the role of government significantly affect green human capital. Green human capital in turn significantly affects Green Performance. Green Performance can be successful by increasing awareness of green human capital on the part of startup businesses in Indonesia. Using green human capital to improve green performance will require green human resource management, green training, and the participation of the government, which must carry out its assistance with implementation through a sustainable commitment. Green Performance measurement is an issue of concern for sustainability and environmental balance in startup businesses in Indonesia.

Abstract

Motivation has a very important role for the employees of the hospital in order to provide excellent service to the community. The importance of motivation, one of which is associated with the appropriate placement of human resources. This is done with the hope if the employee works in the right place and at the right position, then job motivation will increase. Based on the hypothesis, motivation of employee influenced job stress and heavy work environment can have an impact on employee stress. This research was conducted at Al Ihsan Hospital with a population of 75 employees. The data were obtained using a questionnaire and interview techniques. Data analysis is using structural equation modeling with the help of PLS analysis tools. The results showed that staffing and job stress have a significant effect on job motivation.

Abstract

Hospital has an important role for the growth of a country. Poor of hospital quality care cause public health problems are not immediately addressed. This research aim to have an explanation about inhouse quality of hospital services. However, measurements taken by the patient’s perception produce a picture of the quality of care in hospitals. This research followed an established case study method. A range of general hospital were contacted for this research. The hospitals vary in regards to ownership, as a private and public hospital. Only 6 of 19 hospitals showed interest and willingness to spare part of their time to be observed. The results showed that the quality of hospital services is relatively good. However, there are significant complaints about the lack of time provided by doctors, the hospitals are not continuously provide information about the disease by the patient, including the information of possible complications, and lack of hospital policy to train and give an explanation about disease and pain handling.

Abstract

Leadership in government institution increasingly recognized role in improving employee performance. As one of the organizations responsible for performing research and development planning for local development, Bappeda need leaders who are able to use the leadership style. This study aims to look at the effect of transformational and transactional leadership on employee performance Regional Development Planning Board (Bappeda) in Bandung. Data was collected using a census technique on all employees of the Bappeda totaling 88 people. Data were analyzed using Structural equation modeling (PLS). The results showed a positive and significant influence of transformational and transactional leadership on employee performance. Transactional leadership has a greater influence than the transformational leadership. The next study is expected to use different methods in order to more clearly the contribution of leadership on employee performance, especially in government institution.

Abstract

The development of digital business is currently driving the rapid growth of the startup business. Startups are required to develop their capabilities through human resources, which are important human capital for the business they run. This research was conducted on a sample of startups located in the city of Bandung. The research was conducted for four months with the aim of determining the factors that affect human capital in a startup business and how the influence of human capital on company performance. The research method used is descriptive and quantitative methods with SEM PLS data analysis tools. The results of the study show that the role of human capital is quite large in startup performance. The results of the study also show the influence of all the factors studied, especially HR management and the role of the government as the factors that contribute the most to human capital.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to analyze workload in an effort to improve employee performance. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and literature study. Descriptive data analysis with workload calculations using the Nasa TLX approach. The results showed that the workload at PT. BPR Subang Gemi Nastiti is high. Factors that cause this are the company's target which is too high and the lack of number of employees in the marketing division. The recommendations put forward include providing training, increasing the number of employees, improving work methods for time efficiency, and improving the reward system to motivate employee performance
