Abstract

This study aims to explore: (1) The importance of citizenship education to shape of legal awareness of citizens’; (2) the essence of the implementation of the principle of the social function of land rights; and (3) Competence citizens’ awareness applying the principle of the social function of land rights. This study used a qualitative approach, the method of socio legal research, by looking at the effectiveness of the law in society. Data analysis techniques in this study conducted with interactive analysis of data items, namely the data collection, data reduction, the data presentation and conclusion. Conclusions The results were obtained: (1) Civics is very important to establish the legal awareness of citizens’, who can participate and be responsible for applying the law, to achieve the greatest prosperity of the people; (2) The essence of the application of the principle of the social function of land rights be realized through the use of land that does not harm the public interest, land tenure the which does not exceed the maximum limit of land ownership, working on their own land with the characteristics of the soil, preventing the ways extortion and maintain the land, including adding and prevent damage fertility; and (3) Competence citizens’ awareness applying the principle of the social function of land rights consist of legal knowledge of citizens’ against the principal of social function of land rights, the attitude of citizens to comply with the rights and obligations of land, and establish skills of citizens in harnessing and using the land, as living resources together to achieve the greatest prosperity of the people

Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find the answer to the following problems: (1) How far can the students understand and apply examination requirements of statistic analysis?; (2) How far can the students understand and apply the statistical analysis in hypothetical examination?; and (3) Is there any significant relationship between understanding and application of examination requirements with statistical analysis in hypothetical examination? The result of the analysis shows that (1) The students' understanding on the application of statistical analysis requirement shows a sufficient result with average of 66.36, standing in classification 60  73; (2) The students' understanding in applying statistical analysis can be stated to be sufficient with average score of 60. 67, so it stands in classification 60  73; and (3) The relationship between students' understanding on the application of examination requirements and students' understanding on the application of statistical analysis has coefficient of correlation of 0,36 with coefficient of determination of 0,131044. It means that the percentage of the influencing factors towards students? understanding on statistical analysis is 13 %, and the percentage of the other influencing factors, that are educational background and the material of Statistic, and Science,  is  87%.

Abstract

The objectives of research were to find out: (1) strategy the Civic Education teachers took in building democratic attitude among the students to improve political participation in SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang Sragen, (2)  students? perception on political participation in SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang Sragen,, and (3) factors supporting and inhibiting the Civic Education teachers in building democratic attitude among the students to improve political participation in SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang Sragen. This research employed qualitative research, with descriptive qualitative type. Data source derived from informant, place, event, and document. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Techniques of collecting data were interview, observation, and document analysis. Data validation was conducted using data and method triangulations. Data analysis was carried out using an interactive analysis model.Considering the result of research, the following conclusions could be drawn. (1) The strategies the Civic Education teacher took in building students? democratic participation to improve political participation were as follow: a) identifying the characteristics of students, b) developing Learning Implementation Plan supporting learning material and objective relevant to building the students? democratic attitude, c) applying student active learning, learning strategy case study, learning problem solving model, learning inquiry method, learning technique, and learning assessment concerning the material featuring the political participation of participants, d) applying democratic attitude counselling activity to the students in all of basic competencies in the learning process in the classroom, e) coordinating with the school management to build the students? democratic attitude out of Civic Education or other class hour,(2)The students? perception on democratic participation improved, for example:  understanding the importance of participation in political participation activity and ability of determining attitude when they were within society as good citizen. (3) enabling and inhibiting factors of the implementation of the strategy of teachers of Civics in shaping the democratic attitude of learners to improve political participation as follows: a) supporting factors, namely: (i) strategies teachers right and appropriate to the learning objectives, (ii) the support of the school, (iii) adequate learning facilities, (iv) the condition of learners who support teachers' implementation of the strategy; inhibiting factor is the internal factors of learners such as attitudes of students when the teacher explains, and internal factors are environmental factors. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to investigate whether or not there is a significant relationship between knowledge of the law and anticorruption attitude in the 10th graders of SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method that was correlational in nature. The result of research showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between knowledge of the law and anticorruption attitude, in the 10th graders of SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. The result of data analysis obtained rxy = 0.517 at significance level of 5% with N = 132, r table = 0.170 so that rstatistic> rtable 0.517 > 0.170, so that Ha was supported and Ho was not supported meaning that there was a positive relationship between X and Y variables. Meanwhile, tstatistic = 6.885 at significance level of 5% with df (n-2) = 132 ? 2 = 130 and tstatistic = 1.656 so that tstatistic> ttable yaitu 6.885 > 1.656, so that X variable contributed significantly to Y variable. In addition, the size of the contribution of X variable to Y variable was 26.73% and the rest of 73.27% was affected by other factor. The simple linear regression equation obtained was Y = 47.988 + 0.396 X, so the regression equation obtained represented that every one unit increase in X variable, it was followed with the increase by 0.396 point in Y variable. The conclusion of research was there was a significant relationship between knowledge of the law about corruption and anticorruption attitude in the 10th graders of SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Keywords: Knowledge of the law, anticorruption attitude

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of research was to find answer to the problem ?Is there an effect of motivation on students? discipline in complying with the school?s rule in High School(SMA) Al Islam 1 Surakarta?. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative approach with correlational research method. The population of research was all of the 10th graders in all majors of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta, consisting 341 students. The sample consisted of 172 students taken from all of the 10th grades. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling and proportional sampling. Data collection was conducted using closed-ended questionnaire technique for data of motivation and students? discipline in complying with the school?s rule. The technique of analyzing data used in this research was correlational analysis using independent and linearity tests, continued with simple linear regression test at significance level of 0.05. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that ?There is a significant effect of motivation on students? discipline in complying with the school?s rule in SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta? with tstatistik> ttable or 0.61 > 0.147 at significance level of 5%. The result of coefficient significance test shows tstatistik­> ttable or 12.67 > 1.645 at significance level of 5%; therefore, it could be concluded that motivation was correlated significantly to the students? discipline in complying with the school?s rule. Thus, alternative hypothesis (Ha) was supported and null hypothesis (Ho) was not supported. Meanwhile, the size of contribution was 37.21%. It means that 37.21% of students? discipline in complying with the school?s rule was affected by motivation. Keywords: motivation, discipline, compliance, rule

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study were: 1) Determine the application Adiwiyata School at SMAN 4 Surakarta. 2) Knowing improvement of  the professional competence of school teachers in the implementation of Ecological Citizenship in SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta. 3) Know the issues and solutions faced by teachers in improving the professional competence of school teachers in the implementation of Ecological Citizenship in SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta.This study is the descriptive qualitative research. The research data was obtained from the informants, places, and the documents. Purposive sampling was used for the sampling technique. Interviews, observations, and the documents analysis were used to collect the data. The data validity used the data and method triangulations. To analyze the data, an interactive analysis model was used. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: 1) Implementation Adiwiyata School in SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta can be concluded that the application of the policy pursued in the school had implemented a change in the vision and mission of the school is the protection and management of environment, policy insertion environmental insight into subjects, and policies that contain rules or order to safeguard the environment. 2) Development of professionalism of teachers on an ongoing basis can be done through activities such as: training, courses, training, upgrading and other forms of education and training. Regarding the utilization of information and communication technology, teachers have a high willingness to implement ICT in the learning process, it can be seen from the use of media-based learning effective video used in learning environmentally sound, while also using the group WhatsApp as a medium of learning is flexible, and the use of new learning media is Quipper School. 3) The problem of teachers in improving the professional competence of school teachers in the implementation of the Ecological Adiwiyata citizenship are: management time in learning activities, especially with the ability of students to understand the material provided and the insertion of environmental education with the subjects of teaching. While the solution of teachers in dealing with the problems facing the management of time is not good that the teachers sharing experience with other teachers when it got into trouble, it gives students the understanding to explain the material that has not been understood by other students and provide additional value to students who able to explain the material well and clearly, and to maximize the practical activities- related to managing the waste that is around to make compost from waste paper crafts and others, as well as inserting understanding the value of protecting the environment well. Keywords: Teacher, Professional Competence, Adiwiyata School, Ecological                   Citizenship

It is completely sensitive about various negative teacher action whereas many various kind of education crime  it must be very important to include a special rule or Lex Speciales about criminal act in education world for regulating education law in Indonesia. The law is more special and regulating an education law norm. The education  law act is not only crime  but also violation were specialy regulated in criminal code. As lex Specialis, it is hoped that the law regulation can stand as its full of pure dimension as education world itself.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are : (1) to describe the strategies of Pancasila and Civic Education  teachers on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications; (2) to explain the effects of Pancasila and Civic Education Teachers? strategies toward the regular students and the slow learners; (3) to find the enabling and inhibiting factors of the Pancasila and Civic Education Teachers? strategies on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications. This study is the descriptive qualitative research. The research data was obtained from the informants, places, and the documents. Purposive sampling was used for the sampling technique. Interviews, observations, and the documents analysis were used to collect the data. The data validity used the data and method triangulations. To analyze the data, an interactive analysis model was used. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded : (1) Pancasila and Civic Education  teachers? strategies on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications as follow : a) making the teaching planning for regular and special needed (autism) students; b) applying the scientific, lecturing, question and answer, presentation, and problem based learning approaches, and applying the knowledge, attitudes, and skills; c) guiding students; d) creating the conducive and fun learning situation; e) having a good coordination with the special a particular advised teacher; 2) the impacts of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers? strategies toward students as follow : a) civics knowledge, regular students were able to understand well, but the slow learners were not. It was because of the slow learner capability is only capable of up to 5 th grade; b) civics characteristics, regular students were able to showing the private characteristics, such as responsibility, discipline, and showing the public characteristics such as listening friends? opinion, are not showing the discrimination. On the other hand, slow learners tended to showing the private characteristics that was responsibility; c) civics skills, regular students and slow learners were able to give opinion; 3) the enabling and inhibiting factors of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers? strategies on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications as follow : a) the enabling factors are (1) there was the particular advised teacher; (2) the adequate facilities and infrastructures such as a Puspa room, school?s WIFI, and library; (3) students? attitude that supported the implementation of teachers? strategies in inclusive education; b) the inhibiting factors are (1) there are no variation in teachers? strategies; (2) the allocation of a relatively short time; (3) there are still no special guides for regular curriculum with modifications.

Abstract

Vocational high school comprehensively relates technology studies, the development of acquisition of practical skills, attitudes, and life skills. In this context, teachers play important role in forming and producing competent graduates’ need toward Society 5.0. This study aims to analyze teachers’ perceptions about vocational high school readiness toward Society 5.0. This study used a descriptive quantitative with survey method. The respondents were vocational high school teachers that have been selected using a random sampling method. The result indicated teachers’ understanding of Society 5.0 is low. The school’s readiness to facilitate learning also quite low. The assessments still generalized requirements for student achievement. On the other hand, teachers still have the motivation to learn to use technology. The majority of teachers often attend training to improve instructional media skills. Based on these results, school preparation needs to be improved in terms of teacher competence and learning support facilities for Society 5.0.
