Abstract

Student competency is a skill that must be developed through the Community Service Program (KKN). KKN Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya carried out according to the Master Plan Development of PkM and modified with the Motto of Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya: "The Green Islamic Campus" Islamic Campus with the Environment and with focus on PKM activities conducted by Student. Competence is important to keep in mind. McAnhan (1981) argues that competence is a knowledge, skill, and capability possessed by someone who has become a part of himself to color his cognitive, affective, and psychomotor behavior (Sanjaya, 2008). PKM this time at the Community Service Program in the business charity Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya led to the fact that women can carry out the work normally done by men. The activities include physical activity helping to create a yard with paving, cementing, sifting sand, planting trees, cleaning sewers and trash, sweeping; non-physical activities teaching or dancing or giving lectures on the ideal family. Women are the very active role and really take advantage of all the knowledge and energy in improving competence while maintaining the limit etiquette. The objective of KKN is to create students who have the competence to be able to work in terms of supporting the greening movement and keep dressing and behaving in an Islamic way.

Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is a way that puts forward critical and creative values ​​so that it is seen as being able to provide solutions in facing the times. The method used is descriptive to describe HOTS-based learning and assessment. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability of elementary school (SD) teachers in designing HOTS-based learning tools consisting of lesson plans and HOTS-based assessments. This activity is motivated by the skills faced by elementary school teachers in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, especially in designing and implementing HOTS-based learning, as well as developing HOTS-based assessments. Therefore, this activity aims to make teachers become professionals in educating elementary students in developing children's thinking skills at a higher level.

Abstract

The method used qualitative research methods case study type. This qualitative study using this type of case research strategy. Riduwan (2005) suggested Qualitative Methods is a research method that is used to examine the condition of scientific objects, where the researcher is a key instrument. Qualitative research uses the natural environment as a data source directly. Situation good education within the family, school, and community, as it is (naturally) without any changes and intervention by the researcher, is the object of qualitative research. Silalahi (2003: 62) and Sudjana and Ibrahim (2001: 69-71) argues the case study are (a) a study that will involve us in a more in-depth investigation and a thorough examination of the behavior of an individual, (b) research on the background rear and conditions of individuals, groups, or communities with the aim to provide a complete picture of the subject or event under study, and (c) a study conducted intensive, detailed and in-depth on the organism, institution or certain symptoms. This case study is used as the subject under study narrow and limited. The results of the research that students Studies Program PGSD FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya year class of 2012 perform individual tasks and task groups is seen that the ability to teach students, especially in terms of confidence, dare to appear, the sound loud and clear and the characters / characteristic that has not been fully owned also less able to control the situation and condition of class.

Abstract

National Education Minister's Regulation Number 41 of 2007: Process Standards for Primary and Secondary Education Units: Organizing activities to achieve Basic Competencies (KD) which are carried out interactively, inspiratively, fun, challenging, motivating students to enjoy actively, and provide sufficient space for initiative, creativity, and independence in accordance with the talents, interests and physical and psychological development of students. Learning activities in education are not just a process of delivering material, but will be done to make character, civilization, and promote the quality of life of students. Learning is directed to encourage education and the specific responsibilities of each individual who is able to become lifelong learners and realize a learning community. The principle of learning to underlie every step of learning to achieve character education, Based on behavioristic flow, learning is essential to building relationships with the Stimulus-Respons (S-R) response. Learning is an effort to display as many S-R relationships as possible. The learning steps are meaningful as follows: 1) Learning through the surrounding environment; 2) Make a concept map; 3) Give answers for prison groups in small groups (4-5 people); 4) Lessons for making joint Decisions based on each experience; 5) Inquiry; 6) Carry out exercises.

Abstract

Learning requires harmonious interaction between teachers and students. Communication is a type of action that occurs when two or more objects influence or have an effect on each other. Learning through less dynamic interactions can cause an imbalance in the transfer of learning. Tendencies that arise are students will know a lot about something, but become less have a system of values, attitudes, interests and positive appreciation of what is known. Children will experience intellectual development unbalanced by personality maturity, giving birth to a specialist figure who is less concerned with the surrounding environment and prone to value distortions. Students will practice violations such as happy fighting with friends, lack of respect for others, and lack of courtesy. The academic atmosphere in elementary schools for students to be able to learn effectively is a condition where students can collaborate, cooperate, communicate using any direction there is no fear and feel even protected, and they think treated reasonably regardless of ethnicity, religion, race, class, and gender so as to achieve desired goals both national education goals and primary school goals. Energetic interactions between teachers and students in schools must be based on functional relationships first between the teacher and students, meaning students feel the teacher is a parent and a friend who can be invited to interact without fear but still respect. Fearless but respectful interaction is needed because it fits with one of the 21st-century learning skills, collaboration. Good collaboration causes learning to be fun, so learning becomes effective.

Abstract

The reality, Student of Study Program PGSD FKIP UM Palangkaraya less cognitive develop an attitude which is less highly motivated to do something, lacking want to engage in activities that add competence, less vibrant, less organized, less accomplished, less empathy for social activities and less creative. These problems need to be addressed by the State Defense Program. In the current conditions of defending the country should be interpreted more real acts. The State Defense Program is not only identified with the lift arms but must be interpreted more broadly, that is to defend the country in many ways adapted to the professional ability of each. Come with the name of the nation through achievements in various fields are also included defending the country. Chaidir Basrie suggested that civil defense is an attitude, determination, and citizen action that regular, comprehensive, integrated and continues based on the love of the homeland, the consciousness of nation and state of Indonesia, beliefs and magic Pancasila as the state ideology , In Indonesia, efforts to defend the state as expressly provided in the Constitution of 1945 article 27 paragraph 3 which states that "every citizen has the right and duty to participate in the defense efforts of the state". Thus every citizen is expected to take an active part in defending the country. State Defense Program which is a non-physical activity or non-militarism is an integrated part in all courses/subjects so that these programs should receive priority attention to developing conative nature that ultimately can improve the students love for the homeland and the nation. Students have not been able to show fully the nature cognitive that can encourage a love of the homeland and the nation because they are less energetic, less creative, and less highly motivated indeveloping competency activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan percaya diri dengan hasil belajar PKn peserta didik Kelas V SDN-4 Pahandut Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Korelasi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen angket dan tes. Peserta didik yang menjadi populasi sekaligus sampel berjumlah 45 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan rumus Korelasi Product Moment didapat r hitung = 0,797, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu ada hubungan Percaya Diri dengan Hasil Belajar PKn Peserta Didik Kelas V SDN-4 Pahandut Palangka Raya Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) Untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas IV SDN-2 Pahandut dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan metode Diskusi Kelompok pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, (2) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia setelah menerapkan menerapkan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan metode Diskusi Kelompok pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SDN-2 Pahandut yang berjumlah 31 orang dimana terdapat 17 peserta didik laki-laki dan 14 peserta didik perempuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Sedangkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Aktivitas belajar peserta didik menjadi baik setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan metode Diskusi Kelompok pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, (2) Peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan metode Diskusi Kelompok pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SDN-2 Pahandut semakin meningkat. Hal ini dibuktikan dari pencapaian hasil belajar peserta didik pada hasil pre-test memperoleh nilai rata- rata 65,9 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal 45,16%, termasuk dalam kriteria belum tercapai. Kemudian pada siklus I meningkat yaitu dengan nilai rata- rata 71,74 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal 70,96%, juga masih termasuk dalam kriteria belum tercapai. Kemudian pada siklus II meningkat yaitu dengan nilai rata- rata 73,4 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal 90,32% atau 28 orang peserta didik yang tuntas belajar Bahasa Indonesia dalam materi “Keberagaman Suku Bangsa dan Agama di Negeriku”.

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan Indonesia sedang menjadi perbincangan hangat semua kalangan dengan dikeluarkannya program baru Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nadiem Makarim tentang merdeka belajar. Empat program merdeka belajar meliputi Ujian Nasional, Ujian Sekolah Berbasis Nasional, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Sistem Zonasi. Pada tahun 2020 UN akan dihapuskan dan digantikan dengan menerapkan kebijakan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum dan Survei Karakter. Asesmen kompetensi mininum dan surveri karakter terdiri dari kemampuan bernalar menggunakan bahasa (literasi), kemampuan bernalar menggunakan matematika (numerasi), dan penguatan pendidikan karakter. Penyelenggaraan USBN (Ujian Sekolah Berbasis Nasional) tahun 2020 akan dilakukan dengan ujian yang diselenggarakan oleh sekolah. Ujian tersebut dilakukan untuk menilai kompetensi siswa dan dapat dilakukan dalam bentuk tes tertulis atau bentuk penilaian komprehensif seperti portofolio dan penugasan. Portofolio ini nantinya dapat dilakukan melalui tugas kelompok, karya tulis. Dalam pembuatan dan perencanaan RPP guru tidak dibebani lagi dengan banyak komponan seperti pada RPP kurikulum 2013 namun lebih disederhanakan meliputi 3 aspek saja yaitu tujuan pembelajaran, kegiatan pembelajaran dan asesmen. Tunjuannya agar mengurangi beban adminisrasi guru, keempat sistim zonasi perubahaan sistim zonasi yang di canangkan oleh Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan yang baru untuk mengakomodasi ketimpangan akses dan kualitas di berbagai daerah. Maka komposisi PPDB jalur zonasi dapat menerima siswa minimal 50 persen, jalur afirmasi minimal 15 persen, dan jalur perpindahan maksimal 5 persen. Untuk jalur prestasi atau sisa 0-30 persen lainnya disesuaikan dengan kondisi daerah. Dengan demikian dengan diberlakukan sistim zonasi yang baru maka anak anak yang berprestasi bisa memilih sekolah yang mereka inginkan. Dengan digulirkannya kebijakan merdeka belajar maka hal ini juga harus di barengi dengan peningkatan kualitas SDM tenaga pendidik dan peningkatan kesejahteraan Guru dan memperhatikan nasib tenaga guru honorer. Merdeka belajar apakah akan mempu menjawab permasalahan pendidikan di Indonesia, itu masih membutuhkan pembuktian namun setidaknya dengan merdeka belajar guru maupun peserta didik telah merdeka dalam mengajar dan menerima pembelajaran.
