Abstract

Peserta didik merupakan suatu komponen masukan dalam sistem pendidikan, yang selanjutnya diproses dalam proses pendidikan, sehingga menjadi manusia yang berkualitas sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Produk pendidikan yang berkualitas tidak terlepas dari peran pendidik, karena guru sebagai ujung tombak dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan merupakan pihak yang sangat berpengaruh dalam proses pembelajaran. Ada beberapa hal yang membentuk kewibawaan guru, antara lain penguasaan materi yang diajarkan guru khususnya pembelajaran Matematika. Matematika merupakan salah satu bidang studi yang ada pada semua jenjang pendidikan. Di sekolah masih ada peserta didik yang nilai matematikanya di bawah KKM. Melihat dari semua permasalahan yang yang ada diatas, maka dibutuhkan perlakuan yang mampu mencari jalan keluarnya. Dalam hal ini peneliti mencoba menawarkan solusi dengan mengembangkan model pembelajaran Circuit Learning dengan media power point sebagai salah satu alternatif yang dapat dilakukan oleh seorang guru guna lebih mengaktifkan dan memunculkan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas yang diinginkan. Untuk mendapatkan sebuah model seperti diatas maka dibutuhkan sebuah metode penelitian yang tepat. Maka dari itu dalam penelitian ini akan diterapkan metode pengembangan. Model yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Model Pembelajaran Circuit Learning Dengan Media Microsoft Power Point Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Peserta Didik. Hasil dari model yang sudah tersusun dan dilakukan uji coba kepada peserta didik dapat diketahui bahwa model efekti untuk meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Peserta Didik

Abstract

Community service aims to provide not only knowledge but also the readiness to face the TOEFL exam required as a condition of graduation for students of Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya. Community service is carried on in a university environment in six meetings for three weeks, the target communities are communities such as students of Muhammadiyah University. The method used in this service is to provide training to students. Cost of service activities is entirely sourced from Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya from APBU Year 2015. After the implementation of English training activities, the students have sufficient readiness to take the TOEFL test became a graduation requirement for students of Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the low reading ability on the second grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya. This research using descriptive method. The population in this study are all students class II. That is divided into two classes, namely II-A, which amounted to 18 people and II-B, amounting to 16 people. The sample in this study is the total number of study population which amounted to 34 students. The result of dominant factor until the very dominant factor is the low reading ability of students of second grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya, that students at reading not pay attention to punctuation there are 34 students or 100%. Learners do not understand the sentence that he read there are 32 students or 94.11%. Learners do not read smoothly there are 22 students or 64.70%. Students at reading reading eliminate letters or words there are 22 students or 64.70%, and learners mistake pronounce letters that sound like a letter b with p There are 21 students or 61.77%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an affective evaluation instrument for junior high school students. The research was conducted from November to December 2014 on all of the public and private junior high school in Palangka Raya City. The population of this study was all students in second grade of state and private junior high school in Palangka Raya city spread over 10 (ten) state and private junior high school. Samples were taken by purposive sampling , that is by taking into several considerations of school quality (good, moderate, or less), the type of school (public and private) so it could described a variety of populations . In this study, each category is taken 2 (two) for each public and private schools. So that there are 6 (six) schools as the research sample. In this study are drawn 100 students as the subject of test instruments The instrument tried out was questionnaire by using Likert scale models with 5 (five) options. Try out done twice in difference time in two week. After taken try out of the tests twice it showed that, from 40 items of questionnaire there are 25 valid item of questionnaire and 15 items didn’t valid with the average price r ≥ 0,4. While the reliability test also has taken to the valid items which got r11 at current prices amounted to 0.9089

Abstract

This study aims to determine the low of students’ reading ability on the second-grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya. This research uses the descriptive method. The population in this study were all students of class II Which are divided into two classes: II-A and II-B are numbered, 34 people. The sample in this study is the entire study population totaling 34 students. The results of the study are the dominant factor until very low dominant of reading ability of the second-grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya, that students in reading did not pay attention to punctuation there are 34 students or 100%. Students do not understand the sentence he read there 32 students or 94.11%. Students do not know how to read, there are 22 people or 64.70% of students. Students in reading omit letters or words there are 22 people or 64.70% of students, and students error pronounce the letter that sounds similar to the letters b and p there are 21 students or 61.77%.

Abstract

This research was conducted at State Senior High Schools in Palangka Raya, central Kalimantan, the purpose of this research is to know whether there is any significant relationship between Implementation of school based management toward the school effectiveness at State Senior High Schools in Palangka Raya simultaneously. This research was designed by using the correlation quantitative approach through survey method. Target population are all teachers at State Senior High Schools in Palangka Raya, which amount 163 teachers. The total number of research sample was 115 teachers. Sample was taken by using randomized proportional sampling technique. The result of this research conclude that there was a significant relationship between Implementation of school based management with the School Effectiveness, represented by the linear regression Ŷ= a + bX = 79,85 + 2,57X and correlation coefficient ry = 0.976 which is significant at α = 0,05. This result of this study is expected to be useful for improving the school effectiveness in achieving its vision and mission of the objective of effective and efficient school. It is therefore, necessary to effectively improve school is through the understanding of good teachers in the implementation of school management.

Abstract

This research was conducted at State Senior High Schools in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, the purpose of this research is to know whether there is any significant relationship between Headmasters’ Leadership Style toward the school effectiveness at State Senior high Schools in Palangka Raya simultaneously. This research was designed by using the correlation quantitative approach through survey method. The target population is all teachers at State Senior High Schools in Palangka Raya, which amount to 163 teachers. The total number of research sample was 115 teachers. The sample was taken by using randomized proportional sampling technique. The result of this research conclude that there was a significant relationship between Headmasters’ Leadership Style with the School Effectiveness, represented by the linear regression Ŷ= a + bX = 23,21 + 0,77X and correlation coefficient ry = 0.963 which is significant at α = 0,05. This result of this study is expected to be useful for improving the school effectiveness in achieving its vision and mission of the objective of an effective and efficient school. The director behavior leadership of school can empower the teachers to implement the process of learning a good, soft, and production, and management to implement the appropriate principles of leadership with the level of maturity of teachers and others school employees.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning activities of students in learning Indonesian Language using inquiry methods with concrete media on class II-A students at Panarung Palangkaraya 5 Elementary School in the 2016/2017 academic year, and improve learning outcomes in Indonesian using inquiry methods with real press on the second grade students of SDN 5 Panarung Palangkaraya 2016/2017 academic year. This type of research is Class Action Research. The research subjects were class II-A students at SDN 5 Palangkaraya, totalling 29 students consisting of 19 male students and ten female students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and observations. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that Indonesian language learning activities of class II-A students at Panarung SDN-5 Palangkaraya. The average score obtained by students in the first cycle is 3.56 and the average rating in the second cycle is 3.57 with perfect criteria. There is an increase in Indonesian language learning outcomes of class II-A students at Panarung Palangkaraya SDN-5 with the application of inquiry methods with real media. The initial test of the average value of students obtained was 69.96, and classical completeness was 44.82%. The average cost after the application of the inquiry method with real media increased in the first cycle of 79.96, and artistic integrity was 82.75%, and more increased in the second cycle with an average value of 87.86 and 100% classical completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) To determine the activity of students in social studies by using the Cooperative Type Jigsaw learning model, (2) To determine the increase in social studies learning outcomes with the Jigsaw Cooperative learning model for students in Class IV SDN-2 Kasongan Baru Katingan Hilir Subdistrict, Katingan Regency. The type of this research is to use a class action research design (PTK) that tries to solve or answer the problems faced in the current situation with the research subjects of all students in class IV SDN - 2 Kasongan Baru totaling 12 people, the data collection techniques used are observation and test. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Describe the science learning activities of the fifth grade students of Palangkaraya SDN-3 in the 2016/2017 Academic Year on the application of the Word Square model Assisted by Media Flip Sheets, (2) Improve science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN-3 Palangka 2016/2017 Academic Year after the application of the Word Square model Assisted by Flip Sheet Media. The type of research used by researchers is Class Action Research (PTK) with research subjects of all fifth-grade students in Palangka Elementary School-3 totaling 32 students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and tests. Data analysis using qualitative, quantitative data analysis and Mixed Methods. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Activity of fifth grade students of Palangka Elementary School-3 in the 2016/2017 school year in science learning after applying the Word Square learning model Assisted by the Flip Sheet Media Board to be very good, because students are active, enthusiastic, listen to explanations teacher and enthusiastic in following the learning process. The results of the observations of teacher activities on teaching and learning activities carried out by observer I and observer II during the learning process of science in the first cycle average aspects of teacher activity 3.9 in the outstanding category and the universal element of students is 3.67 in the group very good. (2) There is an increase in science learning outcomes by applying the Word Square learning model Assisted Media Flip Sheet Board in class V science subjects at Palangka Elementary School-3 in the academic year 2016/2017. This is indicated by the learning outcomes seen through the class average in the first cycle which is equal to 84.22 and the completeness percentage of students in classical is 100%, from the predetermined provisions namely for KKM of 65 and completeness criteria in traditional 85%. With this, it can be concluded that there is an increase in science learning outcomes after applying the Word Square learning model assisted by the Flip Sheet Media Board.
