Abstract

This article is to describe and analyze the aspirations and needs of single parent women in the context of empowerment through religious education and entrepreneurship and to analyze patterns of empowering entrepreneurial religious education that are relevant for single parents. This research was conducted by using  Participatory Action Research (PAR). The techniques include: transects, interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Factors that cause the low management and utilization  in Batu Hampa Village are: economic factors - limited capital, and intermediary factors that facilitate and allow the rooted inability of single parent women and Low Human Resources of single parent women.

Abstract

Bimbingan pendidikan Islam di sekolah, merupakan permasalahan yang perlu diangkat untuk didiskusikan. Diskursus bimbingan Islam memberikan pemahaman bahwa bimbingan merupakan inti kegiatan pendidikan. Dasar pemikiran yang menyatakan bimbingan merupakan inti dari kegiatan pendidikan, terlihat dari pengertian pendidikan, yaitu bimbingan secara sadar dari pendidik, terhadap perkembangan jasmani dan rohani peserta didik, menuju terbentuknya manusia yang memiliki kepribadian yang utama. Dalam pendidikan Islam bimbingan memiliki karakter dan ciri khas tersendiri. Pemahaman bimbingan dalam Islam lebih luas cakupan ruang lingkupnya. Bimbingan pendidikan umum orientasinya pada pengembangan potensi dan dimensi diri untuk dengan ukuran dunia. Sedangkan bimbingan pendidikan Islam, memberikan dua penekanan yakni dunia dan akhirat kelak. Perbedaan inilah yang berimplikasi pada penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Bimbingan pendidikan umum tidak mementingkan pertimbangan agama sedangjan pendidikan Islam menjadikan AlQur’an dan hadis menjadi dasar di samping nilai-nilai dan norma masyarakat. Namun demikian posisi bimbingan Islam di sekolah-sekolah umum, maupun keagamaan belum mendapatkan porsi yang seharusnya. Agaknya hal ini karena belum jelasnya konsep pelaksanaan, kurangnya professional yang membidanginya. Kendati demikian secara bertahap saat ini telah lahir konsep-konsep pelaksanaan bimbingan Islam, meskipun konsepnya masih bersandar pada konsep bimbingan pendidikan umum, dan cenderung memakai metode “islamisasi” agar terlihat seperti konsep bimbingan pendidikan Islam sesungguhnya.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the concept of religious moderation across Islamic history within Indonesian context. The method used is qualitative with a historical approach. The historical approach is used to reformulate the concept of religious moderation in modern times and classical times. The results showed that religious moderation in modern times correlates with religious moderation in classical times. Although the term religious moderation was only promoted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia in 2019, in terms of practice it has been carried out by the Prophet who was then continued by the companions and the people after him. Classical and modern religious moderation both focus on establishing harmonious and peaceful social relations with people of different religions. However, there are some differences between modern and classical moderation, namely: First, in modern times religious moderation is focused on improving and maintaining relations between Muslims and people of other religions by providing several indicators related to this. Whereas in the classical period, this religious moderation focused on their freedom to embrace their religion without any coercion to convert to Islam. Second, in modern times the term moderation is used in the hope of being an antidote to the many conflicts, while in classical times religious moderation was practiced by the Prophet to serve as an example for the companions and subsequent people. Third, the practice of religious moderation in terms of tolerance towards people of other religions in modern times looks very tolerant by congratulating each other on the holidays of other religions, while in classical times religious moderation only centred on giving them the freedom to choose their religion and carry out their religious worship.
