Abstract

Good and correct interpretation always follows standard and correct hermeneutic principles. Standard and correct hermeneutics is meant to always pay attention to the context and strive for each interpretation result not to conflict with other parts. Based on the results of the researcher's evaluation of the interpretation of the First LGBT people, the term freedom of life according to the 1945 Constitution, especially Article 28 concerning freedom of life, has been mistaken and has even gone astray, because the results presented are contradictory to other articles that have been stated in the 1945 Constitution, For example, the Marriage Law Number 1 Article 1 of 1974, In addition, the LGBT argument is also contrary to Pancasila values and religious values adhered to by religions in Indonesia. The freedom to live in question is the right to live, the right to have an opinion, as long as it does not conflict with the 1945 Constitution and religious values recognized in Indonesia. Christian theology also understands that the freedom a believer has is not the freedom to sin, but freedom from the penalty of sin and the demands of the law. Paul also told the Corinthians that all things are lawful for me, but not all things are useful. Second, the interpretation of love by LGBT people is also mistaken because only seeing and interpreting love is the highest law regardless of the context and the true meaning of love. The behavior of LGBT people is a sin and an abomination in God's eyes. The findings above are the result of an evaluation of the LGBT literature.

Abstract

A balanced life partner is very important because there are many different things that are found in the person of a believer and an unbeliever. God Himself establishes a suitable life partner that is not unbalanced. God knows that man His creation will need a balanced partner, therefore our partners are in God's hands, but very often when we choose an unbalanced life partner, we say that this is my partner from God, when in fact we are choosing by ourselves because there are some things that we pay attention to with our partners that can make us happy, we don't realize that it is only temporary, so we don't care anymore, whether it's balanced or not, what matters is my partner who is from God. Through this paper, we try to give a biblical explanation of a balanced and unbalanced partner to give insight to the believer in thinking about his life partner.

Abstract

The gift of speaking in tongues is a message to the body of Christ which is given in tongues and is not understood by the user. Therefore, it must be followed by an interpretation by the language understood by the congregation. The gift of tongues is usually news of a prophecy for the Lord's church and must be followed by an interpretation. If the gift of tongues is not followed by an interpretation, it cannot build up the church. Therefore, the author will discuss the apostle Paul's perspective on tongues based on 1 Corinthians 14.

Abstract

1 Corinthians This letter is a letter written by the Apostle Paul addressed to the church in Corinth in 55 CE during his second missionary journey. The writing of this letter is motivated by several things, one of which is disputes. The city of Corinth was a metropolitan city with a strategic location so that many people came to Corinth to trade. In addition, the city of Corinth was also known for its extraordinary level of crime. All crimes are committed openly there. For Paul, the disputing church is a church that is not yet mature in the faith, so that they are still dominated by the spirit of division, unable to focus on the source of growth. In this case Paul provided a solution to overcome the problem of disputes that occurred among the Corinthians, namely applying the pattern of dispute resolution according to the Apostle Paul. It is hoped that through this article can help the lives of believers in overcoming disputes in the Church.
