Abstract

Japan has a very serious problem about Sex Trafficking crime. Sex Trafficking in Japanitself then widened into prostitution and this business is almost entirely controlled by theYakuza, the Japanese mafia. Government of Japan became aware of this problem when thephenomenon of Sex Trafficking emerges. In this research, it is explained that in 2004Japan formulated Action Plan program to address the issue of Sex Trafficking in thecountry. Action Plan program which it purpose is to suppress Human Sexual Trafficking inthe country, formulated efforts made by the Government of Japan are to establish aconnection with another country, tightened "entertainer"visa rules, and enforce the Anti-Prostitution Law. The Japanese government face major obstacles, namely Yakuza as amajor actor in the activities of Sex Trafficking in Japan.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, Bank Indonesia has created services that can support educational needs in Indonesia, one of which is the application of a digital library called iBI Library. The iBI Library application provides benefits to the public in reading books wherever they are without having to go and search for books in the library. Feedback from some users complained that there were some problems such as difficulty in finding features to register an account, some buttons that were unresponsive, and features that were less familiar to users. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the usability value in this application through 3 stages: initial evaluation to measure learnability, efficiency, error and satisfaction survey using LEMTool to measure satisfaction components, the second stage is making recommendations for improvement based on problems found through observation and interview, the third stage is to carry out further evaluation of the results of improvements that have been made based on a number of combined guidelines and then compared the value of the initial evaluation and further evaluation. The test participants who were respondents were library visitors (users) who were users who had the character of leisure or necessity factor, namely merely filling their free time and Subject of study, which meant having the subject of the field being explored. Overall, the improvement recommendations that have been made provide an increase in the value of the learnability component with a value of 71.45% to 91.62%, an increase in the value of the efficiency component with a value of 0.04 goals / sec to 0.07 goals / sec, a decrease in the value of the error component with a value of 17.5 % to 2.8%, and improvement in quality of satisfaction with an average value of positive emotions of 54.8% and negative emotions of 45.2% to 97.6% and negative emotions of 2.4% after improvement.

Abstract

Responding to questions is an important skill to develop.Sometimes students cannot give suitable responses to somespecific questions. In order to be able to give suitable response to a question students have to understand what a given questionexpects. Failing to anticipate what the question asks will lead thestudents to give unsuitable response. Giving feedback to thestudents in anticipating what a question asks is believed to be able to improve their abilities to respond to the questions appropriately. I conducted classroom research on the teacher’s feedback to improve the students’ question-response skill in my listening class in EFL setting. Sixty-nine participants were the fourthsemester students taking Listening IV in 2005. They were asked to listen to and answer the recorded oral questions taken from a standardized model test. The test results were evaluated and the researcher gave feedback to the students by giving the key and discussing the case specific to each question item. After giving teacher’s feedback, the participants were asked to listen and respond to a number of questions and the result, again, wereevaluated. This cycles were iterated for 3 times. The teacher’sfeedback comprises sound recognition, guessing the word’s orphrase’s meaning, and grammar. The research findings showed significant improvement on the students’ question-response skill indicated by the increased mean score especially after implementing the third cycle.Keywords: feedback, action research, cycles, sound recognition,meaning, grammar

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine whether there is a corelation of the shoulder musce strength and the back muscle with the servis of volley ball in the team of azzuhra pekanbaru. The form of this research is correlation research, the population in this study is azzuhra Pekanbaru new junior high school students. The sample in this study were 17 people. The sample technique used is total sampling (saturated sample). thus the sample in this study amounted to 17 people. After that, the data is processed statistically, to test normality using the lilifors test and correlation at a significant level α (0.05). The first analysis between the strength of the shoulder arm muscles (x1) with the service of the volleyball team azzuhra Pekanbaru new team (y). where rtab at a significant level α (0.05) = 0.482 means, rcount (0.628)> rtab (0.482), meaning that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a significant relationship between shoulder arm muscle strength and volleyball service on the Pekanbaru AZZUHRA SMP team. The second analysis between the back muscles (x2), with the service of volleyball azzuhra junior team (Y) was obtained, where rtab at a significant level α (0.05) = 0.482 means rcount (0.511)> rtab (0.482) means that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a relationship between back muscle flexibility with volleyball service on the Pekanbaru AZZUHRA Junior High School team. Third analysis between shoulder arm muscle strength (x1) and back muscle flexibility (x2) and volleyball service on the azzuhra junior high school team (y) where rtab at a significant level α (0.05) = 0.482 means, r count (0.628)> rtab (0.482), and rtab at a significant level α (0.05) = 0.482 means r count (0.511)> rtab (0.482) and rtab at the standard level significant α (0.05) = 0.482 means rhit (0.631)> rtab (0.482). Then it can be concluded that the relationship between (x1), (x2), and (y) or the relationship between the strength of the shoulder arm muscles and back flexibility with servicing on volleyball on the Pekanbaru Azzuhra Junior Team.Key Words: Arm-Shoulder Muscle Strength, Back Muscle, Volleyball Service

Abstract

Dalam suatu laporan pada salah satu media sosial menunjukkan bahwa statistik penggunaan komputer di dunia dewasa ini mengalami kenaikan setiap tahunnya, sayangnya walaupun demikian belum sepenuhnya diimbangi dengan kemampuan pengguna dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi pada komputer tersebut. Masjid Manarul ‘Amal Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta yang terletak di Jakarta Barat berdiri tidak kurang dari 10 tahun yang silam dalam melakukan manajemen masjid masih menggunakan perangkat aplikasi MS Excell maupun Ms Word, sehingga kesulitan dalam dokumentasi maupun hal-hal lain sehingga di rasa kurang efektif, oleh sebab itulah peneliti untuk membuat aplikasi yang diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan kinerja. Metode deskriptif kualitatif, simulasi dan wawancara adalah metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam meningkatkan kinerja yang ada selama ini dengan memanfaatkan Microsoft Access. Hasil yang diharapkan dengan pembuatan sistem aplikasi tersebut selain meningkatkan kinerja juga dapat memberikan hasil laporan secara optimal, efektif dan efisien pada manajemen masjid itu sendiri.

Abstract

Network Monitoring System (NMS) is a system that is highly demanded internet service provider industry in this fast-developing information technology era. The availability of NMS is the best option to restore the service level agreement as a means to compete with other internet service providers’ competitors. The occurrence of disturbance in the network is often unnoticed by the network administrator. This may lead to a crucial problem in decreasing network quality as the impact of time-consuming in solving the problem. Through the explanation, the writer tried to anticipate by classifying problems using Pareto and integrated Nagios with Telegram Messenger as a notification of disturbance. Nagios has many features such as reports, event handlers, monitoring resources (CPU load, memory usage, status up / down, uptime, data traffic, bandwidth), etc. One notable feature owned by Nagios is blast notification of disturbance. It is a feature that will function when one of the devices is in trouble. This feature will inform the network administrator or authorized person in certain divisions as regards the error network. In this case, the problematic device can be categorized according to the parameters made by the network administrator.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan untuk membantu Kelompok Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dalam memenuhi kebutuhan mereka akan penghargaan. Yang menjadi mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Kelompok PKK RW 04, Sukamaju, Kecamatan Cilodong, Kota Depok. Kelompok PKK RW 04 ini termasuk aktif dan dekat dengan warga. Berbagai kebutuhan dasar warga selalu berusaha diakomodasi oleh kelompok tersebut. Sayangnya, beberapa kebutuhan kelompok PKK justru tidak teranggarkan, karena dianggap sebagai penunjang belaka, sehingga bukan sesuatu yang mendesak bagi pemerintah. Dengan demikian, untuk anggaran keperluan penunjang program, sering kali Kelompok PKK RW 04 harus mengumpulkannya secara swadaya. Tim penulis selaku pelaksana kegiatan PKM, dalam hal ini, membantu untuk memenuhi salah satu kebutuhan Kelompok PKK RW 04 yang tidak teranggarkan. Kebutuhan tersebut berupa kebutuhan akan penghargaan, yang coba dipenuhi dengan merancang dan memberikan media poster. Poster tersebut terdiri atas poster tentang struktur organisasi kelompok PKK yang bertujuan untuk memotivasi Kelompok PKK RW 04 agar terus bersemangat dalam membantu warga, serta poster tentang Sepuluh Program PKK sebagai penunjang program yang dijalankan kelompok PKK.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effect of protein types (soy milk powder and skim milk powder) and sugar types (stevia and sucrose) on sensory properties of chocolate candy. The appropriate level of protein and sugar were also expected. The research performed using factorial randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. Factors namely ratio of protein type (soy milk powder, skim milk powder) and the ratio of sugar type (sucrose, stevia) were applied. Organoleptic response variables included taste, flavor, texture, and aftertaste were conducted using a hedonic test on 30 panelists. The results indicated that chocolate candy made from the ratio of soy milk with skim milk 0:1 and the ratio of sucrose and stevia of 1:1 gave the highest value of the organoleptic test. Proximate analysis showed the chocolate candy 11.05% fat, 13.44% protein, 25.28% carbohydrate, and water content of 1.17% and has a toughness test value of 1.23 mm/sec/100gram. This study revealed that alternative sugar (stevia) can be used in chocolate candy making and is expected to reduce calories contained on chocolate candy.

Abstract

Cokelat merupakan salah satu produk olahan hasil kakao yang banyak digemari oleh masyarakat. Berdasarkan komposisi bahan penyusunya, terdapat tiga jenis cokelat, yaitu dark chocolate, milk chocolate, dan white chocolate. Proses pembuatan cokelat pada dasarnya meliputi pencampuran bahan, conching, tempering, dan pencetakan. Conching merupakan tahapan penting yang menentukan kualitas mutu dalam proses pembuatan cokelat. Cokelat memiliki kandungan polifenol yang baik bagi kesehatan. Kandungan polifenol pada cokelat memiliki sifat antioksidan yang baik bagi tubuh. Conching merupakan salah satu proses yang paling penting dalam pembuatan cokelat dalam menyatukan adonan, memberikan citarasa yang baik pada cokelat, serta memberikan tekstur yang baik pada cokelat. Proses conching yang digunakan pada proses pembuatan cokelat tidak berpengaruh terhadap menurunnya sifat fungsional pada cokelat dilihat dari aktivitas antioksidanya. Cokelat yang dihasilkan melaui proses conching memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang termasuk kedalam katagori kuat.

Abstract

Abstrak Dalam dunia otomotif kendaraan mempunyai beberapa sistem dan mekanisme yang saling mempengaruhi untuk  membuat  suatu  kendaraan  bekerja  dengan  maksimal.  Mekanisme  yang  tergolong  penting  dalam  sebuah kendaraan salah satunya adalah Mekanisme katup. Mesin empat langkah mempunyai langkah hisap, kompresi, usaha, dan buang. Dalam laporan tugas akhir ini dilakukan untuk megindentifikasi mekanisme katup bertujuan untuk mengetahui perawatan dan pemeriksaan pada mekanisme katup Mesin diesel Mitshubishi PS 100 serta untuk megetahui gejala kerusakan yang sering terjadi pada Mekanisme katup Mesin diesel Mitshubishi PS 100, bagaimana prinsip kerjanya, dan mengetahui cara pemeriksaanya. Berdasarkan hasil Tugas Akhir Identifikasi dan Troubleshooting mekanisme katup, Bahwa pemeriksaan mekanisme katup dalam keadaan baik dan  ada komponen yang diganti yaitu seal katup serta penyetelan celah katup.
