Abstract

Online discussion is a powerful way to conduct online conversation and a significant component of online learning. Online discussion can provide a platform for online learners to communicate with one another easily, without the constraint of place and time. In an online discussion, the students communicate a common interest, exchange information, share ideas, and assist each other in text/transcript form. So far, content analysis is a popular method for analyzing transcripts. However, using content analysis in computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL) or computer mediated communication (CMC) research focused on the surface of the transcripts. Usually, content analysis is employed to categorize news article, product reviews and web pages. Therefore, this study proposed content analysis to a deeper level is to detect the role behavior of students in an online discussion based on a conversation in text form. The findings showed that this method provides more meaningful students’ interaction analysis in term of information on communication transcripts in online discussion. Educators can assess the contribution of students and can detect the role behavior of the student based on their conversation in transcript form; whether the role behavior as a mediator, motivator, informer, facilitator, or as a questioner.

Abstract

Multimedia tidak hanya berupa teks, suara, gambar dan audio tetapi bisa dikombinasikan pada bidang dunia kreatif. Seperti media sosial dituntut untuk menyampaikan pesan dan promosi dengan iklan yang menarik dan santun. Multimedia learning diterapkan di sekolah untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas dalam belajar. Dengan membuat konten media kreatif akan memberikan dampak bagi siswa dan sekolah dalam mempromosikan usahanya. Materi dimulai dengan konsep multimedia, multimedia learning dan konten media kreatif. Selanjutnya dilakukan sesi pratikum menggunakan software photoshop dan kinemaster. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 41 siswa SMK N 1 Gunung Sahilan dengan tujuan menambah pengetahuan siswa dalam teknologi multimedia. Disamping itu akan meningkatkan kemampuan promosi sekolah pada bidang digital menggunakan media sosial seperti instagram dan youtube.

Abstract

Abstract Smart School is a school concept that utilizes information technology in teaching and learning activities and school administration. Smart schools consist of various integrated systems that are used by school residents according to their respective roles, both students, teachers and school employees. The technology that is often used is mobile technology. To support this technology, schools need training to improve their knowledge and abilities from introduction to creating mobile-based applications for school needs. This training was attended by 30 people. During the training, there were modules, video tutorials and competent tutors in their fields. This training will discuss the concept of Smart school, Mobile technology, IOT Mobile and mobile application. This activity will increase mobile technology knowledge for students, teachers and school staff in implementing the Smart School system at SMK N 1 Bangko Rokan Hilir. Keywords: Smart School, Mobile, IoT, SMK N 1 Bangko Abstrak Smart School merupakan suatu konsep sekolah yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dan administrasi sekolah. Smart school terdiri dari berbagai sistem yang saling terintegrasi yang digunakan oleh warga sekolah menurut perannya masing-masing, baik siswa, guru dan karyawan sekolah. Teknologi yang sering dipakai adalah teknologi mobile. Untuk mendukung teknologi ini, sekolah membutuhkan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan mulai dari pengenalan sampai pembuatan aplikasi berbasis mobile untuk kebutuhan sekolah. Pelatihan ini diikuti sebanyak 30 orang. Selama pelatihan ini dilengkapi dengan modul, video tutorial beserta tutor yang berkompeten dibidangnya. Pelatihan ini akan membahas mengenai konsep Smart school, Teknologi mobile, IOT Mobile dan mobile application. Kegiatan ini akan meningkatkan pengetahuan teknologi mobile bagi siswa, guru dan karyawan sekolah dalam penerapan sistem Smart School pada SMK N 1 Bangko Rokan Hilir. Abstract

Abstrak: Kabupaten Kampar merupakan bagian wilayah Provinsi Riau yang memiliki potensi untuk pengembangan komoditas nenas. Sentra produksi tanaman nenas Kabupaten Kampar berada di Kecamatan Tambang yaitu di Desa Kualu Nenas dan Desa Rimbo Panjang dengan rata-rata produksi masing-masingnya sebesar 875 ton/hektar dan 1,6 ton/hektar (Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Kampar, 2012). Keripik nenas merupakan produk olahan yang paling banyak dikembangkan oleh pengrajin keripik nenas di Desa Kualu Nenas. Agroindustri keripik nenas di Kabupaten Kampar sebenarnya menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, seperti juga yang dialami oleh Pengusaha Keripik “Usaha Baru Ibu”. Permasalahan yang dihadapi pengusaha keripik nenas “Usaha Baru Ibu” belum adanya pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk promosi sehingga pemasaran produk usaha keripik dari “Usaha Baru Ibu” belum bisa menjangkau masyarakat luas, oleh sebab itu hal ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap perolehan pendapatan yang kurang optimal dan tidak sesuai dengan yang diinginkan, Untuk pemasarannya dominan dilakukan di sekitar Kampar dan pekanbaru. Melalui program kemitraan masyarakat ini, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan membangun dan menerapkan aplikasi e-commerce baik dalam bentuk website ataupun mobile commerce penjualan Keripik Nenas Kabupaten Kampar dalam meningkatkan pendapatan “Usaha Baru Ibu”. Metode pelaksanaan dalam Program Kemitraan Masyarakat yang digunakan adalah : 1. Focus Group Discussion, 2. Partisipatory Research Action 3. Metode pelatihan dan pendampingan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare the performance of two text classifiers; support vector machine (SVM) and back-propagation neural network (BPNN) within categorize messages from an online discussion. SVM has been recognized as one of the best algorithm for text categorization. BPNN is also a popular categorization method that can handle linear and non linear problems and can achieve good result. However, using SVM and BPNN in online discussion is rare. In this research, several SVM data are trained in multi-class categorization to classify the same set with BPNN. The effectiveness of these two text classifiers are measured and then statistically compared based on error rate, precision, recall and F-measure. The experimental result shows that for text message categorization in online discussion, the performances of SVM outperform BPNN in term of error rate and precision; and falls behind BPNN in term of recall and F-measure.

Abstract

Pada saat pandemik ini diperlukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran secara daring. Untuk mengatasi kebosanan karena sudah memasuki 3 semester dengan menggunakan media online. Dosen dituntut untuk dapat memberikan inovasi dengan teknologi dalam media pembelajarannya. Salah satunya teknologi Virtual Reality yang dapat diterapkan di kelas dengan berbasis 3D. mata kuliah yang dipakai pada VR class ini yaitu Internet of things. Aplikasi 3D VR Class menggunakan smartphone berbasis android dan tambahan alat bantu VR Box. Aplikasi ini telah digunakan oleh 16 mahasiswa di STMIK Amik Riau dengan hasil baik. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini membantu dosen dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran ditengah merosotnya minat siswa dalam pembelajaran secara daring.

Abstract

A well-balanced diet is essential for individuals, particularly athletes, because it improves overall health by supplying energy besides repairing and replacing damaged cells. A well-balanced diet is also benefitting athletes to fuel their bodies before, during, and after training. This study aims to examine the intellectual structure of sports nutrition research using bibliometric measures from 1959 to 2021 based on the Scopus database. The study was investigated using SciMAT software, which employed keyword co-occurrence analysis to extract performance and scientific output vis-à-vis critical topics or themes in sports nutrition. The findings indicated that sports nutrition possesses enormous potential and growth potential. The most prevalent themes in this research area are trace elements, exercise, questionnaire, carbohydrate, and adolescent. Also, this study put up to analysing sports nutrition in countless fields, assisting in understanding its intellectual structure. Future researchers could use this data to identify the focus of awareness and make decisions in multiple ways. This study has a few limitations: 1) the researchers’ interpretation of the themes in this study was grounded on their knowledge; 2) this study only considered publication records from the Scopus database, and some sports nutrition publications may not have been included; and 3) if additional databases, such as Google Scholar, Microsoft Academics, or Dimensions, were accessed, the subject area may have shifted. The findings of this study should be accepted as a single evidence-based framework for developing future studies on sports nutrition research that will benefit researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.

Abstract

Masalah pembelajaran sering menjadi alasan guru-guru tidak maksimal memberikan materi di kelas. Seperti guru lagi rapat, dinas luar kota dan sebagainya menjadi halangan guru menyampaikan materi di sekolah bahkan siswa berkeliaran dan rebut dikelas. Diperlukan media bagi guru untuk tetap menyampaikan materi walau dalam kondisi apapun. Pembelajaran revolusi industry 4.0 salah satu cara untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia teknologi pada bidang pendidikan melalui media pembelajaran. Media yang digunakan berbasis online seperti google classroom. Diperlukan workshop untuk meningkatkan kualitas guru-guru dalam menghadapi pembelajaran revolusi industry 4.0. dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di dalam dan luar sekolah.

Abstract

Abstrak Pada saat pandemic covid 19, guru dan siswa mengalami penurunan minat dan konsentrasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran daring. Pada guru hanya menggunakan media pembelajaran classroom dan whatsapp. Sedangkan pada siswa hanya mendapatkan materi ajar yang diberikan oleh guru yang terkesan itu-itu saja. Diperlukan inovasi menggunakan teknologi dalam pembelajaran agar guru dapat memberikan pembelajaran ke siswa lebih bervariasi. Salah satu teknologi menggunakan Virtual Reality. Dengan menggunakan objek 3 dimensi yang dapat di akses menggunakan perangkat smartphone. Workshop ini diikuti 17 orang guru dan siswa dengan melalui proses pre-test dan posttest sebagai media evaluasi. Diharapkan workshop ini dapat memberikan dampak yang baik bagi sekolah terutama guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran secara daring ataupun luring. Kata Kunci : Workshop, 3D, Virtual Reality, SMK Sulthan Muazzam Syah Abstract During the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers and students experienced a decrease in interest and concentration in participating in online learning. The teacher only uses classroom and whatsapp learning media. Meanwhile, students only get teaching materials given by teachers who are impressed. Innovation using technology in learning is needed so that teachers can provide more varied learning to students. One technology uses Virtual Reality. By using 3-dimensional objects that can be accessed using smartphone devices. This workshop was attended by 17 teachers and students by going through a pre-test and posttest process as evaluation media.
